I stopped by this CVS at the minute clinic to get some testing done because I wasn't feeling too well. I had an appt for 3:20, and got there at 3. I checked in and was seen within 5 minutes. The nurse that helped me was efficient and eased my experience. He took my vitals and ran some tests, and was pretty quick with it. I then had to wait a few minutes for the results. That didn't take too long. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I would definitely come back here in the future! read more

6/10/26 - Worst pharmacy ever! Workers are rude and never helpful. I was trying to get information on my prescription and the female hung up on me. My doctor's office called and she hung up on them twice. She was very rude to both of us. Uncalled for behavior! I received a text that my prescription was being filled, then two minutes later canceled. I have been a long time customer (dealing with their bad customer service) but will be pulling all my prescriptions and business from CVS immediately. I have been a loyal customer at this CVS location on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Chamblee for 8-9 years, mainly to pick up my medications. Unfortunately, my recent experience--and several past ones--have been extremely disappointing. I am deaf and rely on lip reading for communication. I politely asked the employee assisting me (Lily) to briefly lower her mask so I could understand her. This is a very simple and reasonable accommodation. However, she refused--just as she has done multiple times in the past. This issue has been ongoing since COVID, and nothing has changed. I have raised concerns before, but it feels like my voice has not been heard. Clear communication is critical in a pharmacy setting, and refusing to accommodate a deaf customer creates unnecessary barriers and risks misunderstandings about medications. To make matters worse, CVS customer service was no help at all. I had a very poor experience trying to address this issue, which only added to my frustration. My recent experiences at this location reflect a consistent lack of professionalism, organization, and customer care. Communication from staff has often been minimal or unhelpful, and there has been little sense of urgency or accountability in resolving issues. Rather than feeling supported as a customer managing important medications, I have repeatedly felt dismissed and frustrated. To provide context, I changed jobs in September/October of last year and was forced to transfer from a CVS location I used for over five years. Since moving to this pharmacy, I have experienced ongoing problems nearly every month. These issues include rude interactions with staff, excessive wait times due to the pharmacy being "too busy," and inaccurate or misleading information about medication availability. One medication in particular has been a recurring problem. Since transferring to this location, I have repeatedly requested that this prescription not be processed through my insurance. Around February 3, I was told by a pharmacy technician that my insurance information had been removed from the system. Pharmacist Sonny also assured me that my insurance was no longer on file and that I would not continue receiving monthly texts stating that prior authorization or doctor contact was required. Despite those assurances, I again received a text saying prior authorization was needed. On February 11, I called the pharmacy to address the issue. Taylor, a pharmacy technician, answered with a noticeably rude attitude when I asked to speak directly with the pharmacist. I was placed on hold without explanation, and when Sonny came to the phone, my concerns were dismissed with a quick "oh, oh, oh -- it'll be taken care of." Unfortunately, this issue has repeatedly not been taken care of, and there is no reason I should have to contact CVS every month for the same problem. After that conversation, the prescription was filled, and I was assured a discount card -- not insurance -- was being used. However, the price was approximately $50 higher than normal. When I went to pick up the medication on February 23, the drive-through experience was extremely frustrating. The technician spoke to me only through the microphone and never opened the window, despite multiple staff members being present. After already waiting 30 minutes, I was told to pull around and wait again while the pharmacist "fixed it." I declined because I had already waited long enough. At that point, Taylor came to the window with a hostile attitude, stated that he remembered my earlier phone call, and implied I should fill my prescriptions elsewhere. This was extremely concerning and inappropriate, especially considering these are medications I rely on for my health. He then handed my prescriptions to me in a dismissive manner. As I walked into the store to speak with the pharmacist on duty, Anthony, I could hear Taylor discussing me with coworkers. Anthony informed me that I would need to transfer my prescriptions myself to another location, which added to the confusion and frustration. This is particularly concerning because CVS operates in a healthcare environment where customers may be managing serious health conditions or time-sensitive medications. Professionalism, respectful communication, and clear service should not be optional -- they are essential. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that CVS leadership reviews the operational and customer service practices at this location. Improved training, stronger oversight, and a renewed focus on patient care and professionalism are clearly needed. Customers should be able to rely on consistent, respectful service, and this location currently falls far short of that expectation. I also want to be clear that there is no need for a generic response directing me to contact Consumer Relations, as I have already done so. This behavior is unacceptable and should be addressed internally. Based on the current rating of this location, I strongly encourage management to reevaluate staffing and customer service standards. Getting worse. CVS can't seem to read the prescription correctly. They keep alerting my prescription from they way they are written. If it is written for 90 days, I expect 90 days' worth. They change them 30 or 60 and don't advise me as the customer of their actions. CVS is the worst place to get one's prescription filled. I am stuck with them because of that dam Obama Care and insurance company requirements. They keep changing my debitic testing refills. These items are NOT inchangeable between manufacturers. You would think the pharmacist would have been trained on such a simple thing. This make me unsure if they are filling any prescription correctly. Am I getting what I should be. The phone service is designed to not let you through. All for the sake of "convenience" this is the new American hustle. Please stop trying to tell me it will save me time vs speaking with someone who has specialized knowledge. Also the microphone desperately tries to hear everything and if you drop a paperclip it will derail the phone call. Forcing you to use mute. Which negates its purpose. Manager Nayfin seriously goes above and beyond in customer service. I live about 5 min or less from here and every time I go and she's working she's always super welcoming and best part, more importantly, is that she makes sure I get all my discounts!!!! Including extra bucks and coupons. She makes me feel like she really cares that I'm saving as much as possible and that kind of service is hard to come by now a days. 5 stars for her!! I didn't have much faith in this store chain being organized and in order but I was pleasantly surprised. This location is tightly built in a grid with no open spaces however it is more organized and neater than most CVS locations. I stop in here early mornings in my way to work to find deals in peace. The store has all shelf tagging up for sales. That is very impressive. My location has tags up sporadically. The red box is always in working order. I have never seen it down. Whenever I come here for a sale the products are always in stock. Rainchecks are usually not needed. I love it. The biggest plus is that the store associates are helpful and friendly. I am a couponer. That is always a plus. read more

I like this CVS location. There's never much traffic in the parking lot so its easy to get in and out of and the employees in the pharmacy drive-thru are always super helpful. The store is typically well stocked so its easy to get the things that I need and they have self check out so i'm never waiting in line too long. The only con is that sometimes there are homeless people lingering in the parking lot so I try to always be aware of my surroundings when getting in and out of my car (which one should do anyway). I also do not visit this location after nightfall. read more

I am a physician and I often write prescriptions and send my patients to CVS to fill them, however my recent experience at store 4504 gives me pause. I needed to fill an antibiotic script for myself (A NON CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE). I rushed to the pharmacy after a 12 hour shift to get to the pharmacy before it closed. The pharmacist Tommy Y. (he refused to give me his last name when I said I wanted to file a complaint, but of course the full name is on the door as you enter CVS) refused to fill the script because he said I was NOT allowed to fill my own antibiotic. I asked him to please verify because I know GA state guidelines fairly well and according to Georgia Medical Board Rule 360-03-.02, we are not to write for controlled substances (category I meds), but he said well, I don't think you should be able to write antibiotics for yourself. Mind you, my colleague had tried to call several times, but kept getting disconnected, as did I when trying to use the automated service, or talk to someone. These antibiotics were important for me to begin immediately, and being a physician I understand how overworked the ER docs are already and was not going to stress an already stressed ER system just to get antibiotics, so I went elsewhere. He truly needs to be educated on the rules because he is clearly ignorant to GA state rules, which then begs the question, what else is he ignorant to. This seems very unsafe. This review is regarding the Minute Clinic at this CVS location. My husband and I went here to get our flu shots. First issue came up when we didn't have our confirmatory codes because I accidentally deleted the emails. I asked the NP and she was very unfriendly. That did not really change but at least I got my flu shot. With my husband there was an issue with his insurance card and she said he has to pay out of pocket. In my experience, they usually call the insurance and verify coverage. Well, she did not. My husband called his insurance and got the issue resolved, went back to this minute clinic today. It seems like they have a glitch in their system and it still did not work out. Again, the lady was not helpful at all and only said he needs to pay out of pocket. My husband had to call the insurance again because she would not call them herself and although they confirmed coverage, she refused services unless he pays out of pocket. I give two stars because at least I got my flu shot. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

This is where I put that majority of my prescriptions. For the most part I'm very please with this location especially with the pharmacy area. As busy as I know they are everyone back there is always very nice and accommodating. I was in last night and made a purchase of some cool stuff for the eyebrows. The cashier had to deal with some aggressive customers before me. But when she got to me she was back to what I assume is her warm and friendly staff. Today, I had to return the same brow stuff because it was the wrong color. The young lady behind the counter was not warm, was actually kind of defensive and I must say never greeted me when I walked in the door however greeted the people who walked in after me... go figure. I assume this location probably deals with a lot of less than desirables, however, every client that walks in the door should be treated in the manner for which they deserve. If we didn't come here and some people wouldn't have jobs. Walgreens is just down the street. Perhaps the young lady that ( didn't ) helped me today at 1:45 PM was just having a bad day. read more

3 Stars because toilet paper and wines were on sale and that's all I needed so it was nice. I can see where the lines here can get pretty crazy but that's not always CVS's fault. For instance, I was in line behind a seemingly nice couple who didn't have a CVS card and then wanted to maybe get a card (and hold up the line) but refused to give out their phone number and/or email... which does not get you a CVS card. It does make you kind of a jag to everyone else in line because everyone in the first world knows that if you want one of those cards anywhere, you need to give up some bit of personal information. That's how sh*t works. So everyone waited and waited while the guy fumbled through trying to make up a number and it was so annoying and I half wanted to just give my CVS number but it wasn't worth getting the points to save those bungs 30 cents. The pharmacy staff here were helpful and friendly and pointed me right to the toilet paper and wines which is just the cherry on top of them having everything you need on sale already read more

The pharmacy at this location is TERRIBLE! It seems every time my wife and I place a prescription here, it takes them 3 to 4 hours to fill, even when they tell us over the phone it will take 30 minutes. I understand other people get sick as well, but if you say a prescription is going to be ready at a certain time, it needs to be ready at that time. The management at this location needs to understand how to better communicate to customers and how to appropriately set expectations. I would not recommend using this pharmacy. read more

This is our go-to pharmacy! It's close to us and the best part is that they have a drive-thru pharmacy which is pretty efficient. The pharmacists have been friendly - so no problems there! I must admit that there have been a couple instances where someone was not always at the front register but they have come fairly quickly. I could type five pages of the problems I had here trying to get two simple prescriptions filled, but I have no energy left for elaborating after dealing with them three times in one afternoon - followed by having to go to another CVS to fill the rest of one prescription (that this location didn't have). Came back at 5:30 and they had not filled it and acted as if they could care less that they had not done it. Did not leave for another hour. They had my number and could have called me if they were not going to be able deliver as promised but this is the last time. After ten years of using this pharmacy this is it.
