I usually get my photos developed here and they turn out pretty good most of the time. I also come here to rent movies from the Redbox kiosk located inside of the store. They also have a Pharmacy and the Pharmacists that I've talked to are very helpful in explaining medication and what not. My only complaint about this location is that sometimes there are pan-handlers wandering around outside asking for change. Nothing against them because I've donated plenty of times, but when it gets to the point where I know each of their faces then that's a problem. Not a bad Walgreen. They have security cameras on active. I would've given 4 stars, but 3 stars due to the pan-handlers.

I was greeted by a friendly young lady whose name I will butcher, but she is in management training. The Pharmacist, Huzefa offered extraordinary service today. I was with my elderly mother who just got out of a 60-day stay in the hospital. She was a bit weak, but survived and made it out. I asked him if he would come to her, and he went above and beyond to give her a COVID booster in one arm and a flu shot in the other. It was FREEZING outside but he was patient and friendly and encouraging and kind to all of us, especially my mom. Next, the Store manager was amazing! I was reluctant to sign up for the Care plan (I am sure I butchered that too) but he explained the benefits to me, and I signed up and got a wonderful discount on the items I purchased. I don't live nearby but anytime I am in the area I will definitely come back and support this store. Excellence in retail for sure!

Two of my doctors, Dr. Schlanger and Dr. Sweeney, called in for medication renewal. I was out of those medication and was in desperate need of them. I came in with two medium-size boxes, like I have done many times over the last six years. As I entered, a short female employee with long, dark hair called out that she couldn't take the boxes because of the sign on the side of the box. I questioned it, indicated that I know of the sign in their FedEx cabinet with SPECIFIC UN-battery numbers that they could not take, and that I had dropped these off many times before, and these numbers did not match the sign in their cabinet. She INSISTED she wasn't going to take them and refused to double check the numbers. Fine. Whatever. If you don't want to do your job, just say so. No one else was at the counter needing help, and there was another employee at the counter, so it wasn't like the counter would have been unmanned. Or at least give better and more believable lies to turn away packages. Like "the cabinet is full" or "the FedEx scanner is broken today."

This one student tech was so rude that twice is enough for me to get my prescriptions filled elsewhere. And at the front/general area of the store... Multiple times my items have rung up incorrectly. This last time was it. Both my items failed to ring up the correct price. And the guy ringing me up was proactively talking on the phone while checking me out. Be on the phone. Whatever. But to do it while checking me out with my items having issues... And of course I have plenty more to complain. One employee was coughing to death and was wearing a mask. He should not have been working. I overheard the poor guy say he threw up. Um. I hope he feels better? But why did he even show up? I went in dreading the visit but ran into a helpful person in the front who directed me to stationery. After wandering around a while I found an employee who said they're actually in hardware. I found the boxes but couldn't find and banded sets of ten so I assumed the volume discount would apply. I went to the self checkout registers and asked the employee if they needed to multiply my order by ten for the volume discount to apply. They said, no, just scan in all of them and the discount will appear as the end. When it didn't discount I showed the employee and she wouldn't fix it so I asked for a manager. After a few minutes he showed up and flatly refused to honor the online price unless I went home and placed a pickup order, then drove back to get my discount. I declined and drove to a hardware store that had moving boxes even cheaper so it worked out well. Every few years I try walmart to see if anything has changed but they're always consistently awful experiences. This time I've learned my lesson and I'll never shop at one again, so thanks for that.
