I usually get my photos developed here and they turn out pretty good most of the time. I also come here to rent movies from the Redbox kiosk located inside of the store. They also have a Pharmacy and the Pharmacists that I've talked to are very helpful in explaining medication and what not. My only complaint about this location is that sometimes there are pan-handlers wandering around outside asking for change. Nothing against them because I've donated plenty of times, but when it gets to the point where I know each of their faces then that's a problem. Not a bad Walgreen. They have security cameras on active. I would've given 4 stars, but 3 stars due to the pan-handlers.

I was greeted by a friendly young lady whose name I will butcher, but she is in management training. The Pharmacist, Huzefa offered extraordinary service today. I was with my elderly mother who just got out of a 60-day stay in the hospital. She was a bit weak, but survived and made it out. I asked him if he would come to her, and he went above and beyond to give her a COVID booster in one arm and a flu shot in the other. It was FREEZING outside but he was patient and friendly and encouraging and kind to all of us, especially my mom. Next, the Store manager was amazing! I was reluctant to sign up for the Care plan (I am sure I butchered that too) but he explained the benefits to me, and I signed up and got a wonderful discount on the items I purchased. I don't live nearby but anytime I am in the area I will definitely come back and support this store. Excellence in retail for sure!

This last time was it. Both my items failed to ring up the correct price. And the guy ringing me up was proactively talking on the phone while checking me out. Be on the phone. Whatever. I went in dreading the visit but ran into a helpful person in the front who directed me to stationery. After wandering around a while I found an employee who said they're actually in hardware. I found the boxes but couldn't find and banded sets of ten so I assumed the volume discount would apply. I went to the self checkout registers and asked the employee if they needed to multiply my order by ten for the volume discount to apply. They said, no, just scan in all of them and the discount will appear as the end. When it didn't discount I showed the employee and she wouldn't fix it so I asked for a manager. After a few minutes he showed up and flatly refused to honor the online price unless I went home and placed a pickup order, then drove back to get my discount. I declined and drove to a hardware store that had moving boxes even cheaper so it worked out well. Every few years I try walmart to see if anything has changed but they're always consistently awful experiences. This time I've learned my lesson and I'll never shop at one again, so thanks for that.
