Another year, another flu and Covid vaccine! I scheduled online an appointment in advance, received reminders by text and by email, and then checked in via text 10 minutes before my vaccination appointment. I was in and out of there three minutes after my actual appointment time at 6:15 PM. They are fast, and efficient for vaccinations as long as you schedule an advance and arrive at least five minutes early. Pharmacy tech was extremely polite and friendly. read more

Avoid this CVS and all CVS Pharmacies. unless you are stuck because of your employee Health Insurance rules. -Can never get anyone to answer the phone 9 out of 10 times. -Today I was placed on hold for 14 minutes. -Dangerously understaffed - Understaffing means medication errors -Medications are never in stock and have to be ordered Would never recommend this pharmacy or any CVS- go where there is sage and adequate staffing. Wow! These reviews! I've been coming here over 10 years and, though they're not perfect, they certainly don't deserve these bad reviews. I've experienced great customer service in this store. They're usually very busy but that's not the employees' fault. Philipa (I hope I have her name right) has been helping me for many years. She's always efficient and kind. Jennifer the pharmacist was always amazing, too, though she seems to be gone now. I come here sometimes several times a week and have always been treated well. After I started using this CVS, my online prescription access "disappeared" and is non-recoverable with CVS (despite four months of calling with CVS online support and failed support ticket resolutions). I have finally switched to Walgreens (you should too). My issue is that this CVS keeps refilling my auto-refilling my prescriptions. I cannot stop it online, and called again (today) to ask them to stop this. The lady who answered was extremely rude and hung up on me when I asked if there was an alternative way to stop these auto-refills (such as deleting my insurance information on file). Walgreens is less than five miles away from this location :-) read more

I only come to CVS due to insurance requirements. The wait is always tremendous. I think CVS was voted one of the worst places to work because they never hire enough staff. It scares me to think that my pharmacist has to be distracted by service recovery due to a faulty business model. This store needs more help than any other store. Worst customer service ever. Went to buy a couple drinks and price was clearly marked at 2.59. When I went to check out (which they can't be bothered to have anyone at the register, so had to wait for 4 people at the 1 self check out station) it rang up 3.49, when I brought it to the attention of the 1 employee working she stated it was for a different product all I had to do was read the tag. I stated there were 2 rows of the same product I was buying directly in behind the price of 2.59 she said I should read it before buying it. NO I SHOULD'NT HAVE TO IF IT WAS LABLED OR STOCKED CORRECTLY. Then when I asked for them to be removed from my purchase she literally stated "OH MY GOD, whatever!" I have been a customer at this location for almost 20 years and have seen a steady decline in their staff and the pharmacists. I am recovering from covid and had a prescription I needed. The doctor called it in at 5:15pm. At 6:45 I went to pick it up in the drive thru. First they told me they didn't have any thing for me. When I insisted it had been called in, the re-checked and it was there but was going to take 20 minutes to fill. I went back 35 minutes later and it still wasn't filled. This time they said they couldn't find the doctor or his number. I was told that the pharmacist was going to call. 10 minutes later, still sitting in the drive thru, and no one has come back and told me anything. In frustration, I went in and tried to get some answers from the pharmacist. He was condescending, rude and not helpful at all. I left because I could see they had no interest in helping me. If they had checked their messages in a more timely manner, there would have been time to call the doctor and get it sorted out. Instead, I have no medication and have come to the sad conclusion that they really just don't care. I will be transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere. My mom went to the store at 2586 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur, GA 30033 because the doctor had called in 2 urgent prescriptions for our friend. My mom texted that it would take 1 hour to fill the scripts. I called and asked my mom to find out whether it would be faster to pick up 1 of the 1 medications now and we'd return for the other. When my mom asked the 2 pharmacy techs at the front (both women uncertain of names), the pharmacist (Anup) shouted out from the back that "this is not a Burger King" and that "we have a lot of patients in pain." I asked my mom for his name, but she was afraid that the prescriptions would be delayed, so she sat down and said nothing. This is so utterly rude and unprofessional. What's more, never did Anup or any other member of the staff apologize. I immediately called Customer Service to report this, but thought you should know this before you go there. read more

Just like any other cvs. Pharmacy here is usually busy all the time. I remember waiting for 20 mins in a drive through and no one bothered to come up at the window and of course I had to leave. TERRIBLE PHARMACY. This is the closest pharmacy to my house so I use it out of convenience; however, they are rude and slow. Two visits ago, they called more to tell me my prescription was ready. I drove up there and waited in line only to be informed they didn't even carry that medicine! Why did you call me and tell me otherwise!? Today, I had a coupon for my medicine from my doctor. The attendant with an attitude told me the coupon was for the gel version of the medicine. My prescription was for the gel! If I didn't have the coupon, I would have been handed THE WRONG medicine! The first time I went here they lost my prescriptions & asked me to call my doctors to get them...now I have been there 3 times in last 24 hours. Scheduled a 530pm COVID test 3 days ago. Got in line at 515, sat in line and arrived at the window at 7:02. The lady at the window said "yes, how may I help you". I stated I have a 530 COVID rest appointment, this same lady stated the nurse leaves at 7pm and she has to sign off on it so no more tests will be given. (Did I say it was 7:02pm!?). I asked why didn't someone come out and inform us. She stated, I can't leave I am the one doing the test. Clearly there should be another way to not waste people's time or maybe send the nurse to inform the long line of people that were there AFTER me that she was leaving. Do not go here unless you want to be lied to, about, and discriminated by cashier Mark who said he has a"dog phobia", which is unwarranted discrimination since not only is @cvs pet friendly as this location gives vaccines, but I have a service dog, which Mark completely dismissed when I tried to show him the officially issued id. I have only been to the store once. I was staying with a friend and stopped inside so that I could drop off a prescription. Took some time for someone to get to me. I then picked up some items and a card as a gift for my friend. On my way home, I later returned to pick up said prescription in the drive thru. An OK spot to get your meds. read more

Worst service ever. They claim to only carry generics from India. That is a lie.I want to have a pharmaceuticals from Teva because they are manufactured in Israel or the Czech republic. It is well known that generics manufactured in India are subpar or placebos. One or two manufacturers were shut down recently. Service and turnover is horrible. If it were not so close to me I would not go to them. I have to order all my Teva generics in advance. The people look at you like they don't care. Bad morale. Awful. read more

Not the best CVS. I only go there because it's the closest to me and I don't feel like going to the one on N. Decatur. They seem to have a lot of turnover and you always have to wait for someone to come to the front to ring you up. They never seem to have it together in this place. COUNT YOUR PILLS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS PHARMACY!!! I had, and was charged for, a 30 pill count prescription...when I got home, I found that there were only 25 pills in the bottle. CVS claimed that they have the exact, correct pill count, so, therefore I am a liar and there is nothing they will do about it. I have used this pharmacy for 17 years and they treat me like this...Walgreen's, here I come!!!
