I've been to this CVS Pharmacy at Emory Village a couple times. It's a suburban-sized CVS that's…read moreopen 24 hours. Free parking can be hard to come by in Emory Village because of all the restaurants (and retail businesses) and limited parking lots in the immediate area. Luckily, if you're a customer of this CVS, you can park in their free and relatively spacious lot directly outside. Just don't walk off the property after shopping here or you'll get booted or towed. I last stopped by this CVS to pick up a tube of "After Bite" ($4.99 for 20 grams) for a mysterious bug bite/sting I sustained earlier in the day. The cream really didn't help much. It was disappointing. So much for the "Instant Relief!" advertised on the box. I think perhaps my bite/sting was too severe for the cream to help. In hindsight, I probably wouldn't have bought it. The store was clean, brightly lit, well-stocked, and compactly and efficiently organized. The staff was friendly and they greeted customers as they walked in. When you're ready to pay, you can have an employee ring you up or you can use one of multiple self-checkout stations. I went with the latter and had no problems. In the end, I think this CVS is A-OK (3 stars), but I'm bumping it up to 4 stars because it's open 24/7 and the staff was nice.

It seems many negative reviews are related to delivery issues or discrepancies between the app vs…read morethe actual store experience. That said, we noticed this location has both garage and outdoor parking. There are escalators and an elevator from the garage. The store was poorly lit, and one of the self-checkout machines had a problem with the credit card reader. We found everything we needed and more. They do check receipts, but I'm pretty sure they don't actually verify them, which I find amusing.

I looked at their website and they showed them in stock and if you buy 10 you get a small discount instead of buying them individually. I went in dreading the visit but ran into a helpful person in the front who directed me to stationery. After wandering around a while I found an employee who said they're actually in hardware. I found the boxes but couldn't find and banded sets of ten so I assumed the volume discount would apply. I went to the self checkout registers and asked the employee if they needed to multiply my order by ten for the volume discount to apply. They said, no, just scan in all of them and the discount will appear as the end. When it didn't discount I showed the employee and she wouldn't fix it so I asked for a manager. After a few minutes he showed up and flatly refused to honor the online price unless I went home and placed a pickup order, then drove back to get my discount. I declined and drove to a hardware store that had moving boxes even cheaper so it worked out well. Every few years I try walmart to see if anything has changed but they're always consistently awful experiences. This time I've learned my lesson and I'll never shop at one again, so thanks for that.

This CVS is located in the busy Midtown Place shopping center (the one with Whole Foods and Home Depot). However, it's somewhat "hidden" off to the side in its own building and has a separate, dedicated parking lot that is much less congested than the main shopping center lot. The pharmacy was experiencing a small, after-work rush of pickups, but the employees worked calmly and efficiently to keep the line moving. Our go-to is the CVS inside the Atlantic Station Target, but they were out of the particular medication needed. This CVS is located right next to the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail and across the street from Ponce City Market.

False Advertising, Zero Accountability, and Rude Service…read more If I could give CVS zero stars, I would. Their "same day" poster advertisement is a complete lie. I trusted that promise for my business needs, only to waste valuable time, money, and energy. My entire schedule was disrupted because CVS couldn't deliver on what they so boldly advertise. That inconvenience had a direct impact on my business--deadlines missed, clients waiting, and stress I didn't need. To make matters worse, when I went in on Sunday, August 31st at 11:05 a.m., the shift lead I dealt with was beyond unprofessional. Rude, dismissive, and absolutely unwilling to help--exactly the opposite of what you'd expect from someone in a leadership role. Instead of owning up to the failure or offering a solution, they made the situation worse. This was my last straw with CVS. I will never trust or use their services again. If you're thinking of relying on their so-called "same day" promises for anything important, don't. Save yourself the frustration, because CVS clearly doesn't value honesty, professionalism, or their customers' time.
