There's a variety of sweet and salty snacks that you can put in a brown paper bag for only $0.60 an ounce, but be careful, it does add up. They do carry jewelry, accessories, and clothing, but I wouldn't suggest getting any of the latter from here. I'd also recommend asking for the prices of items because it can be a bit of sticker shock sometimes.

It's not far from I-285 exit 38: US 29 / SR 8 (Lawrenceville Highway) - Tucker. This is a large, older generation QT with 24 pumps. I stopped by this gas station on the way back into town from nearby Stone Mountain. I like QT for the following reasons: (1) they have low, competitive gas prices, (2) the gas stations are generally bright, clean, and spacious, and they feel safe, (3) they're open 24/7, (4) they have free air for your tires, (5) the food is actually pretty good (the hot dogs and ice cream in particular), and (6) customer service is usually good (the uniformed employees greet anyone who enters). This QT is no exception. During my visit, I noticed this QT uses one of the newer Gilbarco Veeder-Root fuel dispensers so the filling station has presumably been upgraded at least once. This is a solid gas station and decent convenience store for the area.

They're clean, they're fast, their employees are well-trained, they have their own kitchen, they have easy meals, and their drink prices are affordable. Incidentally, their coffee is also the only kind I actually like. So when I moved to Georgia, in a huge new city, I'm not sure you can possibly imagine how happy I was to see a QT station. It was like bringing a little part of home with me. Now, that said, being so far away from Oklahoma, I had expected at least some changes in policy if not at least changes in food. But there is no change. None at all. This QT could be a twin copy of the QT I frequented regularly back in Oklahoma. Everything in the store is even in exactly the same place. And the service... that remains just as good as it was back in Oklahoma. When it comes to filling up my car, I've always trusted them much more than many of the other personally-owned stations around town.

I came in with two medium-size boxes, like I have done many times over the last six years. As I entered, a short female employee with long, dark hair called out that she couldn't take the boxes because of the sign on the side of the box. I questioned it, indicated that I know of the sign in their FedEx cabinet with SPECIFIC UN-battery numbers that they could not take, and that I had dropped these off many times before, and these numbers did not match the sign in their cabinet. She INSISTED she wasn't going to take them and refused to double check the numbers. Fine. Whatever. If you don't want to do your job, just say so. No one else was at the counter needing help, and there was another employee at the counter, so it wasn't like the counter would have been unmanned. Or at least give better and more believable lies to turn away packages. Like "the cabinet is full" or "the FedEx scanner is broken today."

They are located on Lavista road across from Best Buy off the interstate exit. Always helpful staff at all the locations that I have purchased fuel from recently. Most of the times they have the cheapest gas around the area and seemed to be pretty good too. The pumps were all under a covered shelter, so you don't have to worry about the elements. The place is always nice and cleanly maintained. From outside the interior of the store is brightly lit and inviting. They do have a ATM machine, Air Pump, and clean bathrooms. Oh there is a Domino's Pizza connected to this store to make the stop more rewarding for pizza lovers. Here the staff members are very friendly and helpful.

When I've been at Clarity, I always find myself needing a quick little something and always check into Square to see if they have what I'm needing. Before one event at Clarity, I found that I didn't have batteries for our LED sign. I couldn't image getting in my car and going to a local store for them and didn't know if Square would have any but, why the heck not. I was so hype when I went in and was told that they had batteries - YES! Because what the heck is a Yelp event without those LED letters? LOL. I also love to get some extra energy prior to events with a Celsius and a snack, and they're always stocked up, clean and super welcoming. Little in size, massive on the convenience level!

In general, I'm a fan of QTs because they have reasonably priced Top Tier gas, plenty of pumps, and relatively clean gas stations and convenience stores. This is an older QT. You can tell by the design of the building. I guesstimate it's been around at least 10 years, maybe double. However, even the older QT stores have been retrofitted over the years to feature the nicer "QT Kitchens" brand food and drink including this one. There are 24 pumps at this station. I used pump 8 and it was in OK condition. It was showing its age as the displays were hard to read. I couldn't tell if one of the digits in the price was a 5 or a 6 -- the effects of LCD burn-in. Like all QTs, this one is open 24/7 and has free air for your tires.

However, I like my coffee bitter, strong, and unsweetened, so you might like its sweetness. The fruit slushes are very sweet, especially the green apple flavor. The employees speak loudly and clearly, which I appreciate. They're also very nice and helpful...no stank attitudes, no eye rolling. They seem to enjoy their jobs!

You can find it on the corner of Hugh Howell Road and Tucker Industrial Road. I stopped by this gas station to fill up on my way from Atlanta to Smoke Rise Country Club in Stone Mountain, less than 10 minutes away. I visited on a Saturday morning around 9am and the convenience store (Food Mart) had a slow, but steady stream of middle-aged male customers. The gas station has 10 pumps. Pumps 1-8 offer the standard three grades of unleaded (87, 89, 93) and pumps 9-10 offer diesel only. I know this because I accidentally pulled up to pump #10 and quickly realized it was green grip/sticker only (green signifying diesel pump). I used pump #8 and it was in OK condition at best. The transaction display had been vandalized (keyed). I filled up with "Supreme with Techron" (premium). Chevron almost always has higher gas prices than local competitors like QuikTrip and RaceTrac so if I were you, I'd only stop here if I was in a pinch or it was convenient. Techron is a fuel additive exclusive to Chevron. It was released in 1981. According to advertisements and marketing materials, it's supposed to help clean your engine. My 20-year-old engine with well over a quarter-million miles on it still runs fine and has consumed gas mostly from QuikTrip over its lifetime. Both Chevon and QuikTrip were the first two gas distributors to adopt Top Tier Detergent Gasoline. After pumping, I pressed the button for a receipt and I heard the machine working, but no receipt printed. It must've been broken and/or out of paper. At least the paper towels were stocked. The Food Mart's glass front doors are secured with security bars when the convenience store is closed.
