Extremely slow! Extremely long wait times! Filthy! No drive thru! Avoid it at all cost!!

Today my husband went to get eye drops because his eye was red and irritated. The optical Center was most helpful!! Unfortunately they didn't have the the eye wash he needed but the Dr. came out and saw my husband and had the tech wash out his eye - twice! Dr R even examined him to check if he needed to go to the emergency room, wow!!! My husband said everyone in the Center was concerned and most helpful. The Dr was more concerned over his eye than him not having insurance- refreshing to get that kind of care!!! I'm so grateful the Dr said it was just bruised and it should be fine, even gave him a complementary eye wash!!! We will definitely see this center for our optical needs in the future!!! read more

I like that it's a 24 hour one stop shop for almost anything you could ever need, but prices are much higher than target or Walmart pharmacy and there usually isn't adequate staffing, which makes wait times unbearable sometimes, esp. when you are sick and just need some meds! read more

Just called because they charged me twice for a purchase and they told me since I didnt have receipt I would need to call corporate and they will handle it!! This is a first, I've worked retail and with a little work, receipts can be tracked. I'm definitely calling corporate and she will not like it one bit. read more

I come regularly for house supplies and antibiotics & allergy stuff. This place is clean, customer service is ok. They do have a lack of people at the cash to registers and run out of stock on shelves alot. Other than that this place is ok. love that they are open 24 hours! read more

I came to this pharmacy after my son was discharged from the ER. Came drop of the proscription the guy told me to wait 40 minutes for pick up. So me with my sick child waisted all the time for them to tell me that they didn't have it. That I could go to another cvs that was 20 minutes away. The bad part is that the pharmacy will be closes by the time I got there. So please make sure you ask if they have medication in stock before you wait all the time. Really disappointed read more

CVS may redeem themselves with this visit! Ok I come to the cvs pharmacy at least once a week for the past decade. It's a necessary evil... and I'm calling it evil because the employees always seem to have a chip on their shoulder and it's not my fault that you have a job that you hate. Don't take it out on us.... well until today. Wow wow wow... I have never had the level of customer service or experience the service level that I experienced today. I have never seen a living soul that services this pharmacy to be as friendly, as intelligent, as quick, as considerate, as patient, as customer service oriented, as good looking ;) ( which definitely helps) as I experienced today with the associate by the name of Paul. CVS corporate needs to hire this guy to be a trainer of some sort. He was was working two lines and being so friendly and helpful with the elderly woman next to me explaining all the drugs ... not the typical way.. but writing reminders on all her medication telling her when and how much medication she should be taking. I was amazed. Paul... you are awesome!!! My one star has risen to three because of you and for the potential that you could influence others to be like you. CVS Florence ave still has a way to go.. but this is a good start . True testament that customer service is extremely valuable.. dont businesses get it????? This review is for the pharmacy itself! It may be redundant at this point to say it, but if I could give them negative stars I would. I just stood in line for at least 15 minutes. There was no one else there , the pharmacist saw me and didn't bother to acknowledge me. I left with out my prescriptions because I have other things to do. I shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes for a prescription, especially when there is no one else in line. Unless you have nothing better to do than stand in line at the pharmacy don't come here!!!! read more

If I could give no stars I would. The people at this pharmacy are just plain rude. They make you feel like you coming in to get a prescription filled is a burden on them. Umm...excuse me but isn't that your job? not only is there ALWAYS a long line with a long wait because they usually only have one person at the register, when you finally are being seen at the cash register they don't even look at you. Just ask your name, date of birth, etc. poor people skills if u ask me. The pharmacist who comes and "explains" your medicine to you talks so fast u can barely understand her, & also seems very irritated that u aren't a doctor and don't know everything there is to know about your medication already. This CVS has the worst customer service. The lines are always long. The wait to speak to someone on the ohone is well over 20 minutes. When you ask for help the pharmacy technicians let out a rude sigh as if bothered by a customer. I'm sorry, if you don't like dealing with people, why take a job in a pharmacy. Other technicians act like employees on an assembly line and can only do the one job they were taught to complete. Lastly prescriptions are rarely ready on the time. I've had so many problems with this pharmacy. It's close to home and convenient but wow it's frustrating. Today was the last straw after a series of nonsense and poor communication. One of the employees said they transferred my prescription and I needed to pick it up at the Firestone store. It wasn't there of course, and that's because it's a controlled substance and that's against the law. Fun. I didn't even stop to think that I'd be misguided by a trained employee handling drugs for a living. But alas, I was. I head back to this store and they proceed to tell me that the prescription date was altered (it was not and does not look like it either). They're just ridiculous and there's been so many other frustrating ordeals that I've never posted or even whined about to management (my bad) so I'm just not returning. This place isn't my pharmacy, but it's open 24 hours and after a late visit to the ER it's the only option to get my medication late at night. First time they didn't have it, no problem. However, this second time the "OPEN 24 HOURS" pharmacy was closed. Guy was in lunch and no one else was there. So now I have to get my regular pharmacy to call them and have my prescription transferred over but they don't answer! They called them 3 separate times and no one answered! I called them and after 40 minutes someone answered. I explain to her what I needed and she proceeded to put me on hold actually pretty good and the pharmacist. After another 15 minutes someone picked up the phone and hung up. I called back and they had a name on it hold for another 30 minutes. I have never experience this amount of frustration with a pharmacy before. I don't understand why they cannot answer the phones. They need to get more staff or they need to get better at their job and handling the high call volume. read more

Today they told me that my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes. There weren't many people around either. Oh, well. I got here at 4:20 PM. So I waited and waited and waited. I did not ever hear my name so I asked if my order was ready at 5:13 PM. The pharmacist checked the computer and said, "Your order is ready for pickup". She went to get it and it was under a BUNCH of others. UGH!!!! Of course, I will never know when the order was ready but I do know I would have waited much longer if I had not asked if it was ready. Horrible customer service ! We were standing by the sign that said "Make line on each register" the cashier Mercedes made eye contact with me twice. So when we walked up to the register Ms. Mercedes made us go to the back of the line. HOW RUDE!!! I said well it's not as of we've been waiting for ten minutes and you seeing us there. And walked to the back of the line. As we walked up the the other snotty cashier her name started with an "M" short, wide, with glasses. She gave us an attitude! we greeted her and she didn't reply! Worst pharmacy to deal with. Called to see if my prescription was ready and was on hold for 15 mins then when I was finally helped I was told they don't have anything for me. This is the 3 time that happens with them, called my doctors office and they said they sent it out but would resend my doctors office even had to call them. I can see why there are some good reviews. The store is hugest CVS We have ever been to and what's great is that it is open for the emergency situations where you need to get a prescription ASAP. We went at after a visit to the ER around 3:30 am and the security staff was a pleasant person and helpful. The pharmacist, Sean, I believe is his name, was not a very helpful person, but he got the job done, calling the ER personnel for my RX. However, when I asked about taking my meds with food, he said I didn't need to....which is how I've ended up with a stomach ache....I looked online and it is recommended that Macrobid be taken with food to avoid upset stomach and improve absorption!! Any pharmacist should know this! As a side note, the bathrooms are closed from midnight until 6am because of security reasons (?!) and apparently also out of order....but the manager kindly let me use the staff bathroom. The security guard told me when he saw me coming out of the bathroom that even he isn't allowed to use the staff bathroom. What?!? read more

This is one of the bigger CVS around. The pharmacy is drive thru also.. They also carry dme's (durable medical equipment) for the elderly like wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. a great selection. They have a seperate garden area and it's in a good location. read more

Geovanni, who's on this shift, has no patience with tired customers, gets an attitude, and talks very rude. He needs to have accurate customer service and interaction skills and training. If you're going to be short tempered with people, you have no business working in a customer service field, especially a position that requires in person interaction. I understand I may be sleepy because I've been awake 24 hours and my daughter just had surgery, but there is no excuse for your attitude and disrespect. I was nice but you didn't deserve it. As a nurse I called in my sons medication and called back and hour later to make sure it was ready and they told me the nurse might of not called it it as we have nothing for him( I CALLED IT IN) so they made me fax it over . Again I call before I go. NOTHING was ready! So I asked to speak to the pharmacist let them know I was the child's nurse and mother who called in and fax his medication and you tell me his nurse wasn't doing his job! This place is close to home that's why I get my medicine here. BUT it's awful! They always take forever. Just now I came to pick up medicine I called in last night and set up to pick up at 2pm. I got here at 3pm. I waited 45 min in the car line only to get told my Meds weren't ready yet. Then as I drove off 3min later I get a text that it's ready now. So even though I want to go home, I go into the store this time, only to see a giant line. I can't believe I've been at this store for 1hour and a half and still don't have my medicine. 9 registers and every time I come in there's only 1 or 2 open and the line is ALWAYS long. It might just be my luck but every time I come in for that 1 random item, there is ALWAYS someone trying to return something and for whatever reason, it takes them A LIFETIME. The line will be 10 ppl deep waiting on this one person disputing a coupon or whatever and then 15 minutes later someone else comes to open another register. It's so annoying. Why are there 9 registers?!?!? They should have a separate customer service line for returns. A trip that should take me 5 minutes turns into a 20 minute wait. Worst pharmacy ever!! If they weren't open 24 hours they would have closed down by now. Dropped off prescription at 7pm, went to pick it up at 11:30pm, surprise, surprise it was not ready. Really??!! It takes over four hours the put 30 pills in a bottle??!! Don't even get me started on how long it took to drop off my prescription.
