Mail Order pharmacy services are all about convenience. Count me in on convenience. I order pharmaceuticals all of the time with no problems. Recently I discovered an absolutely unforgivable flaw in their system that needs to be fixed. If you are a Keiser member you can log into the pharmacy center and order meds that arrive in the mail. It is a snap. But did you know that they also let you order things that they do not sell? yes. I just click on all of the meds that they tell me that Dad needs. But what if they let you place an order for something that they can not provide? They leave you a computerized message to call them back about a prescription. No details so you have to call back. The phone system was too full so it let me wait about 5 minutes before telling me to call back. I did that three times. The fourth call I was put on with a live person after a 15 minute hold. I wasted all of that time to have a person tell me that the order that they took would not be fulfilled. It was for freaking baby aspirin, really? They made me call four times and wait for over 30 minutes to tell me to go buy it elsewhere? Why did they take my order? An email would suffice. Making me spend a lot of time dealing with their broken system? Fail. This is simply unacceptable. Complete failure of the system. I hope they read this. read more

The doctors can't figure out why I can't breathe, so my diagnosis anxiety. Wait 5 plus hrs to see doctor.

I submitted two physician ordered medication prescription to the mail order pharmacy in Downey on May 5. One of the two prescriptions arrived on Thursday, 5/7. The other was scheduled to arrive between 5/7 and today, 5/11. Upon checking that prescription on KP's app, I found the order was not yet shipped. I called to the center, and was advised it must have "got hung up in processing". Dealing with this pharmacy has been problematic. If you have an alternative, always take it. I don't feel this pharmacy's management has control of their operation, and thus, cannot guarantee customers are properly serviced. read more

I believe many of these pharmacists may be working from home. Day one, I was told my medication would be shipped free of charge. Next day, they changed their mind, slow delays, and now my medication price has jumped up to a much larger price. One pharmacist wants to follow the rules, the other is having a bad day and changing prices for patients. The online pharmacy workers at the mail order center in Downey, CA, are reckless and uncaring. If you get your medications in the mail, feel lucky that they thought of you at all. If you have an emergency, do not expect any special treatment or fast shipping. Many delays, a slow process. Don't think about filing a complaint, no one will ever read it. read more

This place is a joke.. this place never has medication your doctor perscribes in stock.. then the pharmacists play games with you saying that they are not going to fill your order. I have been waiting 24 days and counting for my medication, after they told me several times it would be available in stock in 3 days, I've been told the 5 times now. And yes, I am a Kaiser member... unfortunetly... this place and the people that stand in it (notice how I didn't say work there, but just stand there) are nothing more than GARBAGE! I spoke to Monica P. M. over the Phone and felt like I had know her for years. Because she made me feel at ease. She took the time to answer any and all of my questions. She was patient and took her time make me feel valued as a Kaiser Member. She gave me the inner and outer workings on how to use their App and how to make it work for my Son and I . Called at 3 pm for a prescription that was supposed to be ready and they told me my medicine would be ready in an hour, So I said that's fine I can come pick it up after work at 10:00 pm I get to the pharmacy and they're still working on it? Wtf like why would you tell me it would take an hour and then I get here after work and it's still not ready and I have to wait. Terrible service. read more

This pharmacy should be only used in case of emergencies this place seems to be overwhelmed and they lack the capacity to deal with it. Ordered my daughter's meds we got the message stating that it's ready but they had a hard time finding it. Then it wasn't ready it wasn't mixed. read more

Kaiser mail order pharmacy needs to be closed. They always send me incorrect amount of Ventolin canisters. My doctor prescribed. 2 canisters every 20 days because I have COPD. One canister only has 207 puffs I need to take 2 puffs every 4 hours (total of 360 for 30 days) I have filed complaints every month for last 4 months. Once the mail order pharmacy tried to send me generic and after email to my doctor that was corrected. Nothing changed. How can the violate doctors prescription Without doctors approval? Service should give the price actually charged for prescriptions not just the retail price.

If I could give them 0 starts I would. ER is a nightmare!!! Have multiple people behind a desk talking that could get people seen and instead they have you waiting over 30 min standing in a line that won't move. ER now looks like county's hospital. Talking to a desk representative over a window while they shout over intercom having every hear your business. Don't understand why we pay so much for insurance yet we have to wait for hrs at a time to be seen and when trying to see a doctor to avoid ER it's 3 month wait for appointment. My boyfriend comes in to the ER everyone was extremely nice except for this RN names Crystal. She is extremely rude, asks my boyfriend a question and then she would leave when he would be answering her. She kept drawing blood out the first time was from his hand. She comes back and says she needs to do it again because the blood didn't come out fast enough. My boyfriend made a joke and stated that he'll look like a heroine addiction by the time he leaves here. She got all snippy and got defensive. Came with my sister to her ob appt at 10am and she was wheeled over to labor and delivery. It is now 4:30pm, still no results or answers to what is going on. Doctor and nurses are rude as fuck. Waited for over an hour just to be transferred from ultrasound back to labor and delivery. No sense of urgency, the WORST hospital I've ever been to. DO NOT COME HERE, they'll just waste your time. You have to be half dead for them to care and even then you'll still be taking your chance. They insert ivs without even telling you. Dr.kim and the nurse Nora Fernandez in labor and delivery are annoying and rude. This hospital and the staff are a disgrace. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever,this will be the THIRD time that they have taken HUNDREDS of Dollars out of my checking account for prescriptions that only should cost $5 each. I will be filling my third grievance. It's embarrassing as Hell to be checking out of a store and your debt card is rejected, because Kaiser took too much money! !!!!!!!! The mail order pharmacy in Downey is good until you have a problem.They made a mistake and charged $40.00 too much to my credit card. I spent 2 hours on the phone to correct the error. I was told they would not credit my account but would send me a check in 6 weeks. What crappy service, that's a weeks worth of groceries for a senior on a fixed income!
