Terrible customer service. We asked where a product was and the lady at the register said Don't know, look over there. I looked and couldn't find it, so I said can you please ask someone. So she came over and said I don't see it. Then she asked someone for help. This other very curt rude lady came over and reluctantly asked what I wanted. She looked and pointed right there as she walked away angry, like I really was bothering her. She should get a different job where she isn't around people. You don't treat customers like that. Walgreens needs to train their people better customer service and maybe even act like they enjoy their job. Maybe even try to smile. This was Sunday morning 11/9, at 9:15 AM. I'm really frustrated with Walgreens at the moment that I can't even think calmly to write this review. Walgreens needs to do a better job on how they refill prescriptions. I don't get why they have to call the doctor's office to confirm a refill which that doctor approved of months ago by sending that prescription with multiple refills. I see my doctor almost once every month, unless I have insurance problems or can't get a day off of work which is rare. I would understand if they were filling an opioid drug that someone can use to get high with, yes call make sure the doctor wrote the prescription or still wants the patient taking the meds. They have fallen behind a whole month before because they would try getting my doctor to confirm a refill, but since my doctor sent the monthly prescription, they won't approve a refill, which in return tells Walgreens not to fill anything. Then when I finally find out what the issue is, it takes me a couple of days to get in touch with my doctor's office since they aren't in everyday. Even my doctor's office doesn't understand why they need to call them to get an approval for a refill. The good things about Walgreens is the pharmacy is open everyday. Plus they send text messages when prescriptions are being filled or if something is wrong with the prescription. It looks like they're always busy, always moving. I know it's not the workers who are the problem, it's Walgreens all together and their rules and or policies. They also have a drive thru to pick up the meds, but I've only done that when there's no line, but even then I try to go inside. read more

The pharmacy Technician GUISELA was the best experience I ever had. My medical provider prescribed online, at my arrival I was immediately greeted, and my medication was ready for pick up. I was hurting badly and needed my pain medication ASAP. GUISELA was not only taking care of the counter, she was assisting the Drive Thru and answering the phones. What a way to multitask! Pharmacy is horrible!!! You show up at 5:59 pm and they close the curtain on you because of strict hours. But you show up at 2:20 and they are still out to lunch. Their lunch is from 1:30 to 2:00!!!! do not go to this pharmacy. i came in from out of town and forgot medication- so i needed an emergency fill. i had the prescription, it was just finding a place with the medication. i was referred to this walgreens because they only had one of the medication. when i called them and asked she immediately said they didnt have it and when i asked for a referral to another one that did because i was willing to go Anywhere and needed it tonight. at that she said "i have a lot of people waiting and cant do that" i told her i can wait. and she explained that itd be a long time, and put me on hold. not even two minutes later the lead pharmacist answered and said that they DID have my medication and she would put it on hold. if you dont wanna help ppl you do NOT NEED TO BE A PHARMACIST. I was excited about making a purchase from a store I've been going to for 26 years. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service provided to me. I tried purchasing 3 different gift cards, but something was wrong with the Mastercards on their shelf. The transaction showed as pending on my credit card and I asked for a receipt in case I had any issues with my bank. The cashier at the time, Jorge, advised he cannot provide me anything and told me it must be something wrong with my card. So I asked to speak to a manager because I felt that was insulting when I definitely have money! Brian the manager at this location wasn't helpful at all. He was very dismissive and RUDE. He told me the reason for his behavior is because "we're busy." With absolutely NOBODY in line. All successful businesses are expected to be busy especially during holiday season. This review is only based on the pharmacy, it's never been this bad before, if you go inside it takes over 45 minutes to actually get your medication and about 30 min to an hour or more in the drive‐thru and after all that, an attitude from the pharmacy tech, she gave me my son's medication and was rushing me away but I was trying yo pick up my own prescription. She found the medication but refused to give it to me because she needed approval from the pharmacist, I had already given her my Driver's license and I told her I didn't need anyone to explain to me how to take it. Then she throws my medication on the dispenser but doesn't say anything. Just keeps looking at the computer, so I wait another five minutes, then she tells me to take them, the pharmacist confirmed. I'm not sure what happened there but I've also been having issues with Walgreens not having my son's medication, they are always running out and it takes them a week to two weeks to bring some more out. read more

I've been coming to this Walgreens for years and recently they have hired a new pharmacy technician in the pharmacy named Cassandra. She is the absolute worst person in the customer service business I seen in years! Normally I would not comment but this is the second time I've had contact with the young lady. The first time she charged me incorrectly in the drive through and I had to park to go inside to get my refund. This time she told me that the Dr didn't send in my refill. When another tech and the pharmacist stopped her to show her it was right in front of her. Tell me why the pharmacy line is always long and only 1 person working the counter? There's always someone that needs extra help or a call to the doctors office or insurance. If you know this happens all the time, why not have at least 2 people at the counter? I live about two blocks from here so it is VERY convenient. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't work with them and I have to go to CVS. But because it's so convenient, i stop in quite often to grab something and never really think much about it. I needed some more gauze pads and some antibiotic cream. I walked over to the store and they had what I needed and i was out in just a couple of minutes. They always greet you at the door. There is not usually anyone out and about on the floor - so anytime you need any help you have to go to the counter. The store is generally clean and tidy. As long as I live here in Bellflower, I will keep coming in to Walgreens and I am sure it will be okay. read more

When it was my turn to come up the person working said I had to come back 30-45 min later since there wasn't a pharmacist present even with an appointment. I purchased a mailing box on Friday, found out the box at the post ofc made more sense monetarily, so I went to Walgreens to get a credit on it today (threw the receipt away). Mind you, I have shopped at that location cycling through all those people that have worked there year in and year out. So, when I went to return it at the Photo counter, I told her that I threw away the receipt and will just take a credit.... I was buying stuff anyways so, who cares. Well...after she asks me if I used my Walgreens card, I said yes. I typed my phone number in, and nothing shows up. She asked me if I paid debit/ charge and I said debit. Then she says, it doesn't come up with anything. Then I guess she does a history on when this damn thing was sold and she says it was back in Dec! Then she proceeds to tell me that she can give me a credit of $3 something. I said, no, because I know for a fact I spent almost $ 5.00 for it. She said she had to find it in the system to give me a full credit. So I said glaring, you think I stole this? How the hell would I get this box out of the store? It's quite big!!! Are you kidding me? I told her I shop here all the time and that I have never returned anything here. I'm on my way back home to dig for that fucking receipt, shove it in her face and vow never to shop at that fucking place again! I have worked in customer service for over 25 years, and in managerial positions as well, and when customers are concerned, you accommodate them. I am a well dressed 40 something year old, obviously not a crack head (like those that hang out outside), and she feels that she has to "go by the book" all the time? She has no idea how wrong she is. Obviously she doesn't know that bad publicity, talk, on social media, etc... can bury a company. Enough of us complain, and trust me Corporate does take notice. With Kmart, Sears... just some of the big giants out there, are closing stores, don't think for one minute Walgreens isn't susceptible. Don't shop at this location, nor give them the time of day for anything. Very disappointed. I went to this location to get a passport picture printed and the lady said she could not print them because my baby (9 month old) was not present. She had to "verify" the picture I was printing was him. Since when is it illegal to get a 2 by 2 picture printed? I had to drive down to another Walgreens and they gladly printed them for me. The whole point of ordering them online is to pick them up when they're READY & for them not to be ready is ridiculous. When they finally assisted me this employee I think his name was Ernie seemed pissed off to assist me. Very rude. I didn't pick his job, he did.
