She was decent but didn't give the same generosity as the lady I usually see. I paid for my stuff and forgot gloves. I didn't have cash and already rang up my stuff. As she reached to grab me some cheap gloves that look like they use for their store she charges me $1.10 mind you there's a 75 cent fee. I was stuck starring at her and luckily the customer behind me said she would pay the $1.10 I understand business is business, but small interactions like this can still impact how customers perceive your store. Customer service goes a long way, and up until my interaction today, I genuinely believed that was something this store valued. I'd also appreciate it if Black customers were not automatically stereotyped as being rude, unruly, or lacking manners. We are not all the same. I come from a family of judges, doctors, and other professionals, and I personally have two degrees. Respect should be given to every customer equally.

The owners hire store attendants who are not knowledgeable on the products that they sell. If you need help, or ask questions, they appear lost and will suggest something random. And, the products that are sold here are indeed overpriced, you can find a better price at a store like Walmart, Target, or Amazon. The hair that they sell for wigs, sew-in's etc. is also poor quality. A lot of time I regret my purchase after coming here. FYI, you cannot legally require a customer to provide ID when completing a purchase, Visa and Mastercard prohibit this. That's a wild, discriminatory practice. If they ask, tell them no, and they still have to complete the purchase. To the owner: How can you morally profit from a predominantly Black customer base, while remaining ignorant of their hair care needs and simultaneously discriminate against them? Overall, it's a weirdly isolating and aggravating experience shopping here, but sadly, it's the most convenient when in a pinch.

They were so patient and put so many wigs on her until she found the perfect one. That smile said it all. They took so much time explaining how to style it and offered to cut it, dye it, add more lace, anything really! They showed her how to put it on and take it off. They made sure she knew exactly how to take care of her new treasure. These ladies do it all! My teen has alopecia and we wanted to ensure she would feel comfortable where we went and Milano delivered! Well worth the price. We will shop here for all her wigs from now on.
