Brown stew oxtail and shrimp alfredo
    Jenaya P.

Goodt! I been wanting to try cuts and slices since I heard about them making these creative pizza selections from Chicken and waffles to sweet chili oxtail on pizza. I was excited! It's a small store and pretty neat inside. It was crowded when I arrived but the line moved fast! I ordered two slices, brown stew oxtail and shrimp alfredo pizza. I also got a free froze drink that they gave out to customers for waiting. Customer service was chef's kiss!! Overall it NYC pizza. It was good! The dough was perfection, it was flavorful. The shrimp was delicious and not overcooked and tough. It was plenty of oxtail on my pizza. My only gripe is I paid 34.00 for two slices of pizza. Wow

Definitely believe the hype! This spot delivered on a juicy oxtail pizza that was so savory and cheese. My pizza slice for my chilly oxtails was $13, which I understood the oxtail bumped up the price. It didn't disappoint as the meat was saucy and stew filled. The cheese pull also did its thing. The atmosphere is dope. Think of Chris Brown, Travis Scott level of immature fun. It is a Black creative space full of an arcade, hip hop and r&b, and skateboard and supreme references.

Absolutely delicious food! I placed my order pretty quickly, and I was really impressed by how beautiful the pizzas looked. They tasted fantastic and were heated just right!

I've been meaning to come here for some time and it was worth the visit! I've come to the place fully aware that the pizza here is gonna cost more that what you would get from the regular Pizzeria. I decided to visit the Bushwick location first because it's nearby one of the Blink Fitness gyms I go to. I wouldn't say it's a hole in the wall joint but since it's located around a residential area instead of a business strip, it has the appeal of standing out while not being present. Coming into the place, it's a bit on the condensed side but you can eat in as long as there isn't more than maybe 8 people there which was fortunate for me because I had the area to myself for the majority of the time I sat in to eat. Their Oxtail slices are their signature slice (since where else can you get a slice like that) so I had the Oxtail Stew slice and the BBQ Chicken Slice right above it. Completely forgot they also had the Chicken and Waffle slice but I'll get to that another time. The Oxtail Slice was superb! You can taste the meat and sauce of the Oxtail along with a few bits of Collard Greens, it's a piece of soul food in one slice, it was definitely as advertised. The BBQ Chicken Slice was no slouch either, well cooked chicken, the sauce must've been pretty smoky because there was also a spicy kick to it but it wasn't overwhelming. They do have beverages but they're standard fare. Wish they had root beer or creme soda but that doesn't take away from the overall score. I recommend this place and they have 2 other locations in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and St. Albans in Queens. Go for it! You won't regret it.

    Oxtail and jerk chicken slices.

I thought all our slices, one with Oxtail, one with jerk chicken, and one with shrimp were very good. The savory, rich Oxtail is clearly the way to go if you're just having one. Service was friendly and we ate in. Pricy, in part reflecting that Oxtail has gone from the food of the people to a trendy ingredient.

    No line. Nice place

What a difference a year makes! I finally tried the OG Cuts and Slices shoppe # 1 in Brooklyn on Howard Avenue. This small business has the same owner as the Queens #2 location. On an early Saturday morning I found parking right outside, there were two people whom already ordered ahead of me. There was no long line around the block as reported in 2023. The slices were excellent quality, the oxtail plain was surprising tastier than the ox with chili oil, had crispy crust for you Portnoy rating fans. Served with courtesy and class. Eat carefully because sometimes has a small bone in the oxtail. Let me not understate how delicious the oxtail is. It is cooked to perfection for hours with all of the spices blended in. It is like having a stew pizza. So delicious! Yeah it's $12 a slice, but you pay for labor and quality.

It's a small busy shop, line weren't so bad but then again it was at night and they didn't have much left. Pizza was pretty good!

Sweet chili oxtail and brown stew oxtail

The oxtail slices are insane, I'd recommend the sweet teriyaki. I waited about an hour for a slice, but it was amazing. They have a good selection of pizza slices with flavor combos you need to try.

Came here on a quick trip to NY. The bbq chicken pizza was really good. I would've loved some red onions to balance out the chicken and sweetness but it was still good. The jerk chicken Alfredo was ok. The Alfredo was good but it was all I tasted. The chicken lacked flavor. As a non red meat eater, I was told the oxtail slice was just ok. Now the sweet chili oxtail pinwheel was a hit with massive flavor it looked so good too. All in all I would definitely come back for that bbq chicken and to try the jerk chicken slice and the curry slice!

    Melissa A.

There was no crazy line today, this place can get really busy. Had the sweet chilli oxtail Slice, always enjoy this slice. The one thing I would change about this pizza is the cheese, not sure what cheese they use, but I'm not crazy about it. But the overall flavor combination is delicious. Service was great, super pleasant with smiles! Will be trying the lobster and shrimp slice next time, it's calling me haha

Babbbbyyy when I tell you, the pizza was a 100000/14! I'm not even exaggerating. I got one slice of the Sweet Chili Chicken Slice Ashley was so nice. The food was soooo good ! I really wish we had one bad at home. The service was amazing. It's very chill.

Great food, fast service, oxtail pizza is a must , buffalo pizza was tasty as well! Best twist on pizza!

I don't truly hold them in the same esteem as popular opinion but, I'll say oxtail slices are all fire af as a topping alone. The rest are unique sure, but taste like old fishy seafood and I don't think it's where it should really be at, quality vs price wise. Place is cool as sh*t, options are dope, but I'm not feeling the execution. Chopped cheese don't taste like a chopped cheese, none of the truffle slices taste very truffled, just like old shrimp and some of those even tasted like the skins were still on, and honestly, the jerk chicken slice was weak. I did like the curried shrimp slice but that probably because the heat level covered hp imperfections. The bottom dough and crust is undercooked, lame-duck, white and soft, not crispy at all and by the time you get to the crust itself it's just a heavy blob of heavy, gross, dry, doughy, awfulness. The topping may not be typical but the pizza gives basic all day otherwise. I'd love if a good pizza place did some dope toppings like this and executed well; never seems to be the right collaboration between classically delicious and NWO creation. I appreciate what they're doing and know my experience might not be the norm but I was excited af to grab $80 worth of slices... until I paid the $80 and it didn't hit the way I wanted.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. We ordered a whole pie half plain and half pepperoni, which is only $2.50 more. What I notice right away is the zesty tomato sauce, which Has love. However, I must admit that the crust was a bit too hard for my taste. Yes! It was crispy, but biting through it was somewhat difficult. Patsy's Pizzeria delivers where it matters most: the food. I stopped in with a party of three…read morearound 430pm. The Margherita pizza was perfect. Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
