Very poor communication with customer service. We were sent wheels that did not fit our car even after talking to two sales agents. We took the car with the wheels to Tire Kingdom who have done this work before and they could not get the wheels on. We had to pay Tire Kingdom for labor so we are out that money too. We have been trying to send these back for a refund but so far, going on 4 days now, no response with a return authorization number. We can only communicate with customer service through email and they never respond back. Our next step may be to stop payment on our debit card. Buyers beware! read more

Customer Service is trash, and their "Suspension team" doesn't know what they're talking about, or they're just lazy and don't do the research. Ordered a part after asking them to confirm it fits. they did confirm via email. it was the wrong part, confirmed this with my local mechanic who actually called the part manufacturer to confirm even further. Trying to get the correct part shipped out / getting the old one back has been a nightmare. they have been working with me through email, but it has been several weeks at this point and little to no progress. ~ with that being said; wheels and tires are here and look good. we'll see how they roll if my part ever gets figured out. read more

I don't often write a review either but i feel compelled to in this case. I purchased a wheel and tire package. All appeared to be good. I had the tires installed, rebalanced and aligned. When i first drove there was a persistent shaking between 42 and 45 mph. I figured it was probably a poor balance or alignment job. A few months later and frustrated i took my truck to Toyota. They tested the tires and told me three of the four had excessive road pressure (not tire pressure) and there was nothing they could do to correct the problem. I contacted custom offsets and they wanted me to return the tires for inspection. What do they expect me to do with the truck in the mean time. It is not that custom offsets was bad, in fact they were responsive but there was nothing they could do. Bottom line there are some things you should buy locally. Lesson learned. read more

Highly recommend you take your business someplace else. I had sent an initial review and it was very good review because I was very happy with the customer service. That was until I received my merchandise and realized that my order was not done correctly. Understanding that people make mistakes, I reached out to them. I requested to speak with the young lady that I previously spoke with, Myranda. This went on for a couple of weeks of back-and-forth and her telling me that she made several attempts by phone and email to contact the distributor and she was simply not able to reach the distributor to make the necessary corrections to my order. After several weeks of back and forth communication with Myranda, I took it upon myself to contact the distributor directly. I just happened to have their contact information because they had contacted me to answer some questions on the spacers that I ordered. I asked the distributor for assistance. I explained my situation; about Miranda not being able to reach them for several weeks. They had no idea of my situation and informed me that they speak with custom offset service regularly, sometimes more than once a day and they were unaware of my situation. Once I talked with the distributor, they immediately looked up my order and assured me that they would rectify the situation themselves. They allowed me to send my spacers directly back to them and they immediately corrected the problem and sent them back to me. Don't be fooled by the polite customer service on the other end of the phone. I recommend you take your business someplace else, someplace more professional and not sugarcoating it with polite phone service until there's a problem with your order and then the tables turn and they brush you off and give you the runaround for weeks. read more

Worst customer service that I've dealt with in recent memory. My order was shipped over 6 weeks later than the "guaranteed" arrival date, they didn't do anything to make that right, but I was willing to get over that. One of their people talked me into paying to have them do balance beads on the tires and wheels I bought, which I just had to spend another $240 at my local tire shop to undo after less than 1,000 miles because Custom Offsets techs don't understand how to balance a tire. I have pictures from my tire guy showing one wheel having 7 ounces of balance beads in one tire and less than 3 in the next, which was obviously throwing my truck all over the place. Needless to say my tire guy thought I had someone do these tires in their garage, he was doing his best not to scoff at "whoever I let touch my wheels." When I contacted customer service to see if they were willing to make things right, they sent me a snapshot of their fine print saying they don't back their balance beads at all and that I was outside of the 30 day window anyway so sorry about my luck. It felt like I was dealing with a Chinese company, should have stuck to my gut and stayed local. I will definitely never use them again in my lifetime, and if I were you I'd steer clear. Buy local and hope for local customer service, or really any form of customer service for that matter. 100% would never recommend spending any of your money with this company. Bought some wheels a few weeks ago for my cargo van.. got them about a week or so later to find out lug nuts were missing. Not a big deal, called them up and they sent them right out.. Went to tire shop to get them installed and started backing up and heard a scrap. The wheels were rubbing on calipers!! So I called custom wheel offset and they told me it's not there problem that once the wheels are on vehicle there's no refunds. I used their website and entered my vehicle information and those wheels were on the list that would fit my van! now I'm stuck with wheels I can't use and they aren't willing to give me a refund! I got tired of waiting and called manufacturer "Cali Offroad" they answered 2 ring and stated "the wheels you are asking about are available and have been available in multiple sets in 6 of our warhouses across the Nation and have been available for quite sometime. In fact they told me they are in stock just miles from where you calling me from for pick up TODAY!! My tires were deemed not round and still waiting for them to take ownership of the issue 2 months later. They told me that they would send me new tires but if the company (Toyo) tells Custom Offsets they are good then I have to pay for the the new tires I received as well. I ordered wheels and tires for my ram 2500, all 4 Toyo Tires 35/12.5R20 are out of round and proven to be out of round following a rode force test that a local tire shop performed. Each tire is $520. The truck shakes because of this. Customer service tells me to file a warranty claim, so I do, after that they tell me to take the tires to a local Toyo dealer and have them take care of it (like it is their problem) . I take them to a Toyo dealer here in Bismarck ND, guess what they say? Since I didn't buy the tires there , they won't warranty them. Totally understandable. I tell custom off sets about it, they say "weird, most dealers are very helpful in this situation". So now I have the option of buying new tires from custom offsets and sending these ones back. Of course they won't reimburse me once the tires arrive, because why would they? I Only purchased these $2100 defective tires from them? Once they receive the old tires I send back to custom offsets then custom offsets will send them to Toyo for evaluation, which only take 5-6 weeks, how convenient. So bottom line is don't ever buy anything from this absolute rip off of a business. They have zero customer service or accountability for the product they are selling you. Go to a tire shop and have them get you what you want because they will take care of the issues on the spot while they fight with the manufacturer about warranty reimbursement. Wish there was a zero star review as Custom Offsets is a horrible company to deal with. Their website may look fantastic but that's where it stops. They hide behind their FAQ page to say that it's the customers responsibility to know if the wheels or tires their websites specifies actually fit even though you select your specific vehicle during the process. The reason for this is so that they can make additional profit by charging exorbitant restocking fees for every wrong order. It's a wonderful business model as long as you don't mind screwing a number of customers along the way, after all there are many more that will follow behind them without doing the online research to look for reviews before their purchase (like me for example). I purchased a set of wheels and tires for my Mercedes and the tires were 2 inches shorter than factory (after taking months to receive them). The wheels needed hub rings and when I called the rude salesperson said (oh all aftermarket wheels need hub rings, I can sell you them for double the price of what you can buy them on Amazon for if you want). Then while working with the return department (don't expect a return call right away like they advertise, all communications take days each time) via email they put it in writing that the wheels would be just fine without the hub rings as they are almost the same size (for anyone not knowing, Mercedes don't have studs w/ nuts, they have lug studs so it's important the wheel is centered on the hub to prevent additional torsion on the lug studs). I decided to keep the wheels as I didn't want to pay their $300 restocking fee for the wheels and tires, but they still are requesting me to pay to dismount the tires, then pay a restocking fee of $175 (the tire price was only $386 for the tires at checkout) then buy new tires and pay again to mount and balance. They do not stand behind their products and they do not every try to make it right. Horrible horrible company, do not recommend, use Tire Rack or any other reputable online tire shop, do not go to Custom Offsets. read more

We took them to local shop to get them balanced but they said they could not balance the tires because they were out-of-round. So he tried to return the tires but Custom Offsets is just giving us the run around. This has been going on for almost a month now. If this was a local shop they would not stay in business very long. Read the fine print it's a joke. Also the first military discount they gave was 30 dollars definitely not the 15 percent of 1250 set of wheels. This company is as dishonest as they come. Evan the customer service manager reached out to me and did make sure I got refund. But with that he has called , texted, and emailed me everyday for several weeks asking me to change this review. I ordered with Paul. Paul called my wheel company directly while I was on hold to make sure my wheels were available. I waited two weeks for wheels and started getting information about back orders. I called Paul and emailed him multiple times with no response. I called and spoke to Marshall and was told my tires were in, but my wheels were not available. I left Then ordered new wheels which were delivered week later than I was told it would be. Then I asked to cancel. They placed the cancellation order and the warehouse pulled the order back so the cancellation never happened. I called again and was told not to cancel because my wheels were in, but they used one of my tires on another vehicle so I have to wait for it to come in. Purchased a tire and wheel set and delivered in May '22. Placed on vehicle but had a bad vibration. Contacted Custom Offsets and told me to rebalance at my expense. Still had same vibration and shop pointed out that two of the wheels didn't have any weights on them, even though Custom Offsets sent a sheet pointing out what each wheel had for weight. Contacted again, sent them video of the tires being spun on the ballancer where you can see the tires moving up and down, and they tell me that I have out of round tires which I would have to dismount and ship back. The shipping cost was staggering and decided to just purchase a new set from a local shop. Still had same vibration after new set. Contacted them again and they said I had to dismount the tires and get video of just the wheels being ballanced. Showed them video of some calling for weight and others very little but clearly you can see the wheels are out of round while they spun around. Custom Offsets then tells me that the manufacturer will probably deny the claim as they said they don't see the problem. How Custom Offsets does not make this right nor tell their supplier that their product was faulty is beyond me. DO NOT BUY FROM CUSTOM OFFSETS. I should have read the reviews prior to this purchase. Local tire shop found my Ridge Grapplers in a warehouse near their location. I called and they said they could get them, well place the order they take my $3500 and then proceed to text me daily up selling me on the fraudulent ceramic rim coating. Stuff costs them $100 a gallon and they charge nearly $300 to spray it on and wipe off. Any way I get a call the tires that arrived were 18" not 20" so my entire order is screwed and I missed out my tires that I could have just got locally!! Whatever you do make SURE you know exactly what you want/need. Unfortunately I didn't know so I spent weeks corresponding by both phone and email asking questions, and was assure the tires/wheels I ordered would fit my truck. Like a idiot I believed the salesman was speaking the truth, I soon realized he was telling me what he thought I wanted to hear, and saying anything to "make the sale" I ordered a lift, tires, wheels....just to find out the wheels that HE TOLD me would fit with little to no rubbing actually do NOT fit at all, well they "fit" they just don't turn. When I called to ask about it i was told to have my mechanic cut parts off the truck and I'm not talking about the normal trimming I was expecting, no, I was told to cut metal parts. I was told everyone does it....maybe so but I would expect to have been told this before I placed the order, so I could decide if I wanted to cut the truck and void my warranty or if I wanted a smaller tire. Lesson learned, an expensive one, but learned there are still people/businesses who couldn't care less about the customer, their ONLY concern is sealing the sale by saying whatever it takes. read more

Horrible experience. I ordered a wheel and tire package through them, they were both in stock. I got a text and email THREE WEEKS in a row all saying "expect your package at your door in 6-12 business days. At checkout the shipping said 2-3 weeks. Well 5 weeks later still hadn't received my package, so I called and they nervously threw out a bunch of bull crap about my wheels getting lost and placed with another order and multiple different excuses. I will from now on order any off my wheel, tires, or lift needs through the shop that does the labor as they got my lift in 2 months quicker than custom offsets could and they could've got my wheels and tires within 2 days instead of almost 2 months!!! read more

I didn't get my wheels for two months due to the fact that they say "in stock" on their website when they really aren't. I ordered a wheel and tire combo and from the order 2 out of 5 items were missing. No wonder their customer service department is so responsive. they said a tire ( general atx 33 / 12.5/20 114s load E ) would work on my year of truck ... every tire company around says the load rating isnt good enough to be safe on my truck its a 114s on a 2011 f350 .. on the door it calls for a 123 from the factory . when asked them they played stupid then said if i purchased the wrong tire i could send them back but i pay the freight for shipping plus a 30 % restocking fee .. this isnt the first issue ive had with them i should have went with my gut feeling . all i did was listen to their recommendation . this is what they do for a living so i figured they should at least know. please stay away from these guys they act as if they are the best well they are the worse buyer beware !!! read more

Ordered a set of American Force wheels in August. Was told 2-10 week build time. Saw no update after 10 weeks. So i started calling. Called 3 times, as recently as yesterday. Each time being told another 2 to 4 weeks. Been waiting over 14 weeks. Being wheels were built to order, order cant be canceled ( understood). Asked about swapping out wheels for a set of American Force wheels listed on there website as in stock, even agreeing to pay the difference for a more expensive wheel. Said they cant do it. Asked if wheels are built to order, Why does their website say they stock certain model American Force wheels. Checked website again. Still saying 8-10 week build time for a polished wheel as of (11/19/20) Asked why there add is misleading. Was told its an error and needs to corrected. They offered a partial refund for inconvenience. Partial refund was $100 on a $2400 set of wheels. Again misleading. I know covid is slowing things down. But not one update/email from C/O. Ive had to call them every time. Even spoke to Jose in Customer Service who said he would have a representative call me back. Never did. Very helpful in the beginning until they get your money. Didnt plan canceling my order. Just want what i payed for in the time frame i was told. Sent in claim to CC company with proof of dates and build times from their website.
