Over the years, I have used auto aces multiple times for multiple cars. I find them to be a bit…read moremore expensive than other mechanics in the area, but I use them because they are close to home. I needed a repair done, and called over a week in advance and spoke with Cheyenne. She said that my vehicle would be done for sure in one day so we made an appointment for the following week. So, I dropped my car off the night before to have to looked at right in the morning. I got a call at 8am that they looked at my car, and this is what it needed and would be done later in the day. I called back at 5:15pm, and the guy that answered the phone told me it wasn't ready yet. I asked him when he thought it would be ready, and he instantly got an attitude with me. I don't think my question was unreasonable nor did it get angry that it wasn't ready. He starts rattling off everything they did, and what they still needed to do. I'm not unintelligent when it comes to car repairs, and I know what they needed to do should have taken 4 hours tops. Why they had my car all day and then get mad when I ask a question was really weird. He then told me my car would be ready in the morning- even though I was told twice it would be done the same day, whatever I had the next day off anyway. Later in the evening Cheyenne calls me to tell me that my car is ready. So we went to pick it up, and at least it came in under budget. I always find her very pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. The guy however, was a world class asshole. Based upon that interaction alone, I won't bring my own car here anymore, but others in my household probably will. When you are shelling out a few grand for a repair, you kind of expect to at least get a phone call if they are running behind in the repair time. And they damn well better be nice when you call for an update!

Absolutely Outstanding Service at Dante Auto! - My Fuel Issue Fixed Fast and Fair!…read more From the moment I limped my sputtering vehicle into Dante Auto in Oshkosh, I knew I was in good hands. I was experiencing a frustrating fuel issue that was making my daily commute a nightmare, and honestly, I was bracing myself for a lengthy repair and a hefty bill. Instead, I received nothing short of five-star service that truly exceeded all my expectations. The staff at Dante Auto were immediately welcoming and attentive. They listened carefully as I described the symptoms my car was exhibiting, and they got it into the shop incredibly quickly. I was kept informed throughout the diagnostic process, and within a reasonable timeframe, they had pinpointed the problem. What truly impressed me was the mechanic who took the time to explain everything to me in clear, easy-to-understand language. He didn't just tell me what was wrong; he showed me and explained the potential causes and the necessary steps for the repair. This level of transparency was incredibly reassuring and made me feel confident in their expertise. He even broke down the cost of the parts and labor beforehand, so there were absolutely no surprises when it came time to pay. Speaking of the bill, I was absolutely thrilled with the final price. Considering the speed and efficiency of the repair, and the thoroughness of the service, the cost was exceptionally fair - truly a breath of fresh air compared to some of the horror stories I've heard about auto repairs. To have my fuel issue resolved completely and correctly, all in the same day, for such a reasonable price is simply fantastic. It's not just about the quick fix and the fair price, though. The genuine care and professionalism displayed by everyone at Dante Auto were remarkable. They treated me with respect, answered all my questions patiently, and made what could have been a stressful experience surprisingly pleasant. If you're in the Oshkosh area and experiencing any car trouble, I wholeheartedly recommend Dante Auto. They are honest, reliable, and provide top-notch service with a personal touch. They've definitely earned my trust and will be my go-to auto repair shop from now on. Thank you to the entire team at Dante Auto for getting me back on the road quickly and affordably! You've truly earned this five-star review and my sincere gratitude.
