I don't live in Wisconsin, but I came to this Discount Tire for an emergency situation after my steering wheel suddenly began shaking. I had a 5+ hour drive home that same day and specifically requested that the wheels be balanced and the one bad tire be replaced. Initially, they declined to do what I requested. After speaking with my dad over the phone, they agreed to replace a tire. However, once I got home and we removed all four wheels, we discovered that the tire they replaced was not the tire that actually had the issue. They had also added a significant amount of wheel weights to the problematic wheel without explaining this to me. All four of my Michelin tires had been balanced within the past year and previously only had a small amount of weight on each wheel, so seeing that many weights added to a single wheel was concerning and appeared to indicate an issue with that tire. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication. The staff appeared to focus on some existing cosmetic damage to one of the rims and suggested that may have been the cause of the vibration. They also informed me that the problem would not be fully resolved, which left me wondering why the actual source of the vibration was not addressed. The steering wheel shake disappeared for roughly 350 miles after I left, then returned. I understand they were likely trying to help me get home safely, but I left feeling that my concerns were dismissed and that the root cause of the problem was never properly addressed. For an emergency situation where I was relying on their expertise, the communication and diagnosis were disappointing. I do want to add that the staff were very friendly, professional, and quick to help. Given that I was dealing with an unexpected issue while traveling, I appreciated that they got my vehicle into the shop right away and worked to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. My disappointment is not with how I was treated personally, but with the communication and the fact that the underlying issue was not properly identified or resolved. read more

Discount Tire - Wheel & Rim Repair Near Me - Grand Chute, Wisconsin

Came in for tire rotation and balance. All I got was recommendation for new tires and it'll solve the problem. Got the car back with steering wheel shaking even more violently. Took it to my friend and we rotated tires ourselves and the shaking went away. Needless to say we were better than discount tire. Waste of time setting appointment. read more

staff is real good only thing is i don't recommend going here if your looking for a bigger/smaller size tire. i got turned down multiple times now because the tire was wider then what i had on the car.... got sent home on old tires because it was " unsafe " to corporate to have my new wheels mounted on or balanced read more

Great service, amazing staff. We had a slight issue with a tire, but the Team at both the Appleton store and Oshkosh made it right! Highly recommend Discount Tire! read more

Absolutely incredible! They delivered exactly what they said they would do which was balance and rotate my tires and when I went to go pay, they said it was free because it was a safety issue. I tipped them out anyway and hopefully they're going to buy pizzas for the crew with it. I can't believe the business ethics of this place and I will certainly be doing business with them again when I move to Virginia. read more

Purchased tires for 2 vehicles did everything online, including a set of wheels. Since purchase, they've rotated balanced and reset TPM system all at no cost to me. This is the way business should be done. I spent a fair amount of money there, and they recognized the importance of the customer. BTW, been going there for a couple of years now, and many of the same employees are still there, leading me to believe they value their employees too. read more

Put a hole on my front driver side tire last minute middle of the work week. They were able to get me in half hour before close saying they'd have it ready the next day. Was able to pick it up before I left for work the next morning, no charge to patch it and replace the spare with the original. Amazing customer service, would highly recommend especially if you're in a pinch for time. read more

We stopped in tonight after discovering that we had air leaking from our tire. We arrived around 30 minutes before close, and the associates were happy to help us. The staff was kind and quick, and surprised us when they told us the tire repair service was free. My fiancé and I felt awful that we did not have any cash on us to tip them. We will definitely be back for our tire needs. Thank you to this team again, we greatly appreciate the kind service! read more

This review is for the Discount tire on Washburn Street in Oshkosh, but I suspect they all have such excellent service. Extreme gratitude here. Discount Tire will have my business for life. I brought my Fox rental car in because I had screw in the sidewall. Fox told me it was my responsibility to pay for a new tire and Fox was such a hassle that Caesar at Discount Tire put a used tire on the car and charged me nothing. Kyle greeted me originally, and I would like to hire whatever company trained these guys in customer service for my own business. read more

Kyle at discount tire is one of the most fantastic people I have ever met. I arrived the first time unprepared and he didn't dumb me down. I then showed back up ready to get a new tire thrown on, but we then ran into a problem of me ordering the wrong tire size. Long story short is that Kyle expended every option he had, and got me a new tire on my car for the next week, so I can later come in a finish my process next week. Kyle is the most fantastic car guy I have ever met. read more

Fantastic experience at this location today. Pros: While I was there I was helped by 3 gentlemen - all three were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. AJ was amazing! He went ridiculously above and beyond all expectation to help me. I didn't even ask - he saw that he could give me better than I called to request at a much better cost, so he offered it. Facility is clean and comfortable with ample sitting/waiting areas and complimentary coffee and cold water. They even let my well-behaved little dog hang out with me while I waited. Con: They got my new tires on so quickly I didn't have much time to work on my crosswords. I was kinda looking forward to a longer wait. ;) read more

Excellent customer service!!! Scheduled an appointment online (super easy) for a flat tire repair. Showed up and customer service rep met me at my car. Went into their lobby to wait. Was amazed at how clean it was! Staff was very friendly. My car was ready in no time. I was shocked there was no charge for the work performed. I will definitely be back when I need tires. Thank you very much Discount Tire - Casaloma Drive location. read more

Purchased tires for my 2012 Buick Lacrosse in TX back in the spring of 2016. Excellent service. Since back in Wisconsin, the local Discount Tire has done an excellent job taking care of me. Would recommend to anyone. read more

Ordered new rims for my Jeep on Dec. 18. Told me they would take about 5 days to come in. Taking out Christmas Eve and Christmas day, it's been 7 business days. I called today and talked to the person who was supposed to order them. Well guess what, they forgot to order the rims. Now I have to wait another week and my vacation is over. I am going to see if I can get the rims sooner somewhere else. Plus, I was going to get new tires on another car at Discount Tires. Not going to happen. Guy on the phone was not very customer friendly. Not happy at all. ***Rims came in and they installed them right away. Waived the install fee for the inconvenience. Was only told this when I was getting appointment set up for install. I may use them again. read more

I trusted Discount Tire in Colorado and now I receive the same excellent customer service in Wisconsin. Sometimes there is an hour wait but there's water, coffee, spacious waiting area and knowledgeable staff. Well worth the wait! I trust them with all my vehicles. read more

Ok so this place is really nice it's clean and if I needed to I could get my tires replaced that day. Well there slogan is that they will not be undersold and they are the cheapest place that's a BIG FAT NOPE! I had to get my front 2 tires replaced and decided to check them out after some went out of my price range and they will apparently not be undersold. Well guess what they are and where undersold I ended up going to Sams Club and for the same tires the quoted me on where almost $100 cheaper. read more

Just wanted to drop a note & say everyone from the guy that checked me in to the guys out in the bay treated me extremely well. I ordered some Continental DWS for my 22's on my Lincoln online. Put the order in online and made a apt for tomorrow 12/8/20 then realizing due to my work schedule I couldn't make that apt. From the date of my review. My orders already been completed prior to my apt. Tires arrived to the store same day as they did not have them in stock. I work at Veriozn. Being it's the holidays I'm working a lot of hours and finding time to get anything done is near impossible. They made great use of my time that I had. Gave me the choice to drive up and wait for a bay to become available or wait for my apt. I chose to drive up. They accommodated me in a timely manner. Great team and place y'all running here. Not even gonna name a single person because I'm extremely satisfied with each and every person I came in contact with. From the guy that directed me in to the bay to guy that checked in with me while balancing my my tires to the guy that checked me in when I got there. Thank you all for going the extra mile and keeping it one more driver/family with some safe tires for winter. Bless y'all and be safe. read more

Super fast, friendly service. They're more than willing to go out of their way to help out! Got my tires here and they not only fixed one when a nail punctured it but also rotated my tires for free. Told my friend about them and though she didn't have money right then and there for new tires (her tire blew on her nearby there) they sent her home with a complimentary used tire that would get her where she needed to go til she could come back and afford to get new tires. Also sent a coworker there when her tire blew and they replaced her tire for her while she was at work! They're awesome :) Also, they're very reasonably priced! read more
