Avoid this place at all costs! I purchased a very expensive set of Fuel Wheels and Toyo tires from them at the end of 2019. FUEL wheels are warranted for life of manufacture defects. I recently had a warranty claim on of of my rims that developed a hairline crack inside the rim causing it to leak and potentially continue to crack. I contacted the company both online with a form and called and left a message. I got the run around from the form page reply yet Tyler called me first thing the next morning (Monday). He sent me my invoice from the purchase and told me I had to deal with the manufacture to get the rim replaced. OK. The manufacture informed me that EXTREME CUSTOMS should be the ones to handle the warranty! I contacted Wheel Pros (The Manufacture) who took my information and guided me to a place locally to get the rim checked out to determine the wheel was not abused or damaged. Discount Tire of Spring Hill Tennessee is the place I went. They looked at the rim and verified the crack was caused by a defect in manufacturing. They informed me to process the claim I needed the price for the rim. From that point Extreme Customs gave me the slip telling me they did a package deal on the set and cannot tell me the price for the rim. I then contacted the manufacture who took matters into their own hands and for the warranty rolling for me. What a nightmare dealing with Extreme Customs! When it comes to backing the products you sell when it comes to these type of problems... Helping the customer should be your only concern! And I don't want to read a reply from Extreme Customs that says We've taken steps to improve our quality, communication, and overall customer experience to ensure that situations like this are handled more smoothly and fairly in the future. zero stars Their system processes orders without your authorization. I went thru the PayPal process and was redirected to the merchant website to review and complete the transaction. Once PayPal redirected me to the merchant website it didn't let me review or consent to the order. It automatically processed it. I immediately emailed and called the merchant to cancel the unauthorized transaction. The merchant will not cancel and refuses to provide information so I can contact the distributor to cancel the unauthorized transaction. I have filed a claim with PayPal and with the BBB. BUYER BEWARE!!! THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU!!! www.extremecustoms.com is a bad company! See the other reviews too!! Here's how they lied and scammed me out of $1076.49. I ordered a set of wheels and tires for my truck using their online website. When I received the wheels they did not fit my truck. This was my fault because I misinterpreted their website details and ordered the wrong fitment. No big deal, people do buy incorrect sizes of all types of merchandise. Extreme Customs only offers email support so I sent an email to inquire about the wrong size. A day later I received a reply from Juli at Extreme Customs and we started a dialogue. I explained that I received the wrong wheels (I actually thought they sent me the wrong size until a few emails later I realized I made that mistake). I asked if I could return the wheels for the correct size. I only wanted to replace the wheels and I would keep the tires. At first she was not very cooperative and a few emails later she sent me a random pic of a truck (NOT MY VEHICLE) and said she can't return my wheels because they are used. This was very bizarre and red flags went up at that point. She was literally accusing me of scamming them. I politely corrected her and explained that the photo she was referring to was not my truck nor the wheels/tires I bought, that she must be mistaking me for another customer. She stated that they have to be very careful because people scam them all the time. The conversation was not an apology, I was more interrogation and justification for her accusations. I wasn't getting a good feeling about any of this but I needed to exchange the wheels so I put that aside. After clearing that up, I asked if she could help find the correct wheel fitment for my truck. Sadly, a few emails later she said they couldn't find anything. I was a little disappointed to say the least, so I did some additional searching on their website and found the correct fitment for my truck after learned the correct size, etc. I thought, how did she not find these? I wrote back (btw, they do not provide a phone number and all communication is done over days/weeks of emailing only! Very frustrating and slow to say the least.) I then suggested that I could send the old wheels back and they can send the replacement wheels I found on their website. She explained that they would need to charge my card for the replacement wheels first and when they receive the old wheels back they would provide the full credit. This is where I went wrong... I was suspect to this arrangement but since I was trying to be an honest customer I gave her the benefit of the doubt and provided my credit card payment for the replacement wheels. I then carefully packaged up the incorrect wheels in preparation for shipping them back. She asked that I take many pics so they can see the wheels to ensure they were not damaged prior to shipping. I took many photos of the wheels to show they were still in new condition. I also took photos of the packaging to show how well they were protected and packaged. After she saw the photos she said they can see the wheels are indeed in new condition and even complimented me on how well they were packaged and cared for. Once I received her approval and feedback from the photos, I shipped the wheels back via her approved RMA and FedEx shipping labels. A few days later I received an email from Juli stating that she received the wheels but had "bad news". She stated that the wheels were all damaged on return and her management will not allow her to provide the refund. She asked me if I wanted them back or if I wanted her to dispose of the wheels. Really?!! Much Wow! I asked Juli to provide photos of the "damaged" wheels and the damaged packaging (just like they asked me to do prior to the return) and they have not responded. I also asked if they filed a damage dispute with their FedEx rep as they provided the shipping. Still no reply. It's been nearly a week since I have shipped the wheels back and I have not heard back from this company since. I had a feeling this merchant was going to take advantage of the situation and my honesty, and not provide the refund they stated they would. Please be aware, this company will lie to you. They do not value ethics or their customer. Hope this experience prevents others from having a similar situation. Be careful and do NOT buy from Extreme Customs! Zero stars if I could! The online ordering process is easy, slow shipping. However they sent me 2 defective tires. After a few voicemails never being returned I decided I would call AMP the manufacturer of the tire and they said that there was no reason why Extreme Customs wouldn't make it right as they would just need to will put the warranty paperwork and send them back. So after that phone call I finally got a call back from Meet at Extreme Customs he said that I would have to pay $100 in shipping one way and give a deposit of $500 to get two new tires. I said no thank you I have already spend $300 in attempting to balance the tires that they had sent me and they were supposed to be balanced upon arrival. Meet them offered to have us drive to them and they would switch them out at no cost to us, that was perfect as it would be about $50 in gas and a 6 hour total drive to them. So that's what we did but when we got there the kid took our keys only asked us our name and went to the shop floor didn't ask me what tires on the truck needed to be replaced. Then 1.5 hours later we were told that the tires were road force balanced and good to go but we owed them $52 and some change. WHAT! I told them no way I had already paid $2,200 for the times and tires that were supposed to be balanced to begin with (they didn't refund me for my attempts to balance them) they said that they only spin balance tires before they send them out to customers and since we wanted them road force balanced it was more WRONG with large tires/ big off set tires like I bought they have to be road force balanced. They steal money from customers, buyers beware. Also as I was walking in I slipped and fell (it was raining out and they didn't have a rig for customers to wipe their feet off on and the concrete floor has a gloss coat on it that made it slippery to begin with) they watched it happen and didn't once ask if I was okay or anything. WORST PLACE EVER!!!! Then the problem first i was told the kit i ordered was no longer being made and had to be discontinued. So the had me pick another kit....then rough country said they were still making the original kit extreme customs stated the kit would go out by no later then sept 11th still no kit they want.
