These guys were great. Michal came out pretty quick after I called him and he gave me straight to the point information about what we wanted done. He advised it would take about 12 weeks for delivery of our 6 windows, including a patio door. Due to supply chain issues everyone is dealing with, it was about 14 weeks to get them, but it was no big deal. The team that installed the windows did an amazing job. It took them a couple of times to come out because they were waiting on the frame for the patio door, but that only took an extra week. We're very impressed with the quality of the windows and workmanship that the installers did. Michael and his guys were prompt and service was fast. I was on the fence about replacing the windows of our home but I'm glad that I did. The windows on the home were single pane aluminum - from when the house was built in the 1960's I'm sure. We live a block away from a busy boulevard and sometimes when trucks would pass by the windows would rattle. The wind would blow through the windows and the window screens have been gone for years. I'm not joking when I say that whatever temperature it was outside, the house was insided. I'm pretty sure this house was built with no insulation. In the summer it would get hot, in the winter it would get cold. We even resorted to putting blankets over the windows in the winter time or trying to seal them with plastic. Surprisingly my favorite thing about these windows has been the reduction in the level of noise from outside. The garbage pick-up no longer wakes me up every Wednesday and morning commute traffic from the boulevard is no longer noticeable. I really like that the heat stays in during the winter and the heat stays out in the summer. It's not perfect, but it is a huge difference from where we started. I would have to say, in this house with no insulation, it makes at least a 10 degree difference either way (heat or cool). The other great thing has been the locks. We went from the old style, hand crank windows, to these sliders with a couple of flip latches and a deadbolt- style locks. Definitely the kind of windows that you want if you are, or if you use an alarm system/security. Finally (and this is the most simple joy that came from the whole process) we have screens. We can now open the windows and enjoy the fresh or polluted (depending on air quility that day) breeze that the bay area is so famously known for and not worry about being "bugged" by mosquitos or flies. They also keep our cats in! The whole process took about half a day. Inside/outside looks a lot better (I will try to include pics). We sleep a bit easier because it is warmer/cooler and much more quiet. All in all, I'd say it was the right choice! read more

I thought I had left a review for these guys already. Anyway this was one of the BEST contractor experiences ever! Not a day goes by that I don't look out these windows in admiration. My installation was early 2021. It fit surprisingly well into my budget and these guys knew what they were doing. They even went the extra mile to size and cut an improperly installed quartz window sill installed by a previous contractor, that looked pretty but caused the window to not close all the way! It is so much quieter in the house now and cooler in the summer and definitely warmer in the winter. There's nothing like new windows. You'll be in good hands. read more

Michal was so easy to work with and even came by to the house a couple of times to take measurements as I had additional requests for him. He gave me a 6 week lead time for the windows to arrive, and they did arrive right on time. The price was surprisingly reasonable for the quality brand name windows I ordered. I got more expensive quotes for cheaper quality windows from other companies. The guys who worked on the house came right on time on a Monday morning, and worked non-stop until 4pm. I was absolutely amazed that only 2 guys replaced 13 windows in one day! They did quality work, and cleaned up afterwards to make it look like they weren't even there. I had 6 windows replaced at my house. As a woman hiring a contractor I always appreciate being treated with respect, not condescendingly as if I have one brain cell. So this was a positive experience. Michal answers any questions and addresses your concerns. His crew showed up when expected, were very efficient, and cleaned up when finished. There were no surprises or unanticipated costs. I would definitely hire again. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer the service of finishing/painting the exterior trim. This my third investment property renovation (all three 100yr old victorians in downtown san jose). I do many remodels and have have worked with other window companies (half are fly-by-night and the other half outrageously priced). I called 3 different window companies and even compared price to do windows with my contractor. After getting bids, I did a lot of research on the windows and although skeptical about quality of windows and install due to large price difference from big window shops, I was quite surprised at both the quality of materials and the outstanding install they did. They installed more than 20 windows (some very tall 2nd floor - and there was much retrofitting since these replaced old sash windows. Michael was very prompt and professional on his quote and did not try to upsale. Installer came in and was FAST, CLEAN and very NICE. We are beyond pleased with the entire process from quote to install. The price was very fair (and worth every penny, by the way). The Simonton warranty is fantastic and can be passed on to the next owner when we sell. I was warned by a family member that a similar job took their install company 3 days with 3-4 guys each day and they left a big mess every time. Michal and his team exceeded my expectations for replacements of my windows. My first initial contact was via email in which I forwarded photos and measurements for the initial quote. Within an hour he provided me with a price and wanted to schedule the first visit to confirm if any other work would be needed and be exact on my measurements. Michal gave me a window of when he would be available and we agreed on a day and time. After confirmation and observation of the work needed, he stood by his initial quote. Since I already had multiple proposals and some pending (some companies never responded) I decided to proceed because his rate was less by far. The day the windows arrived Michal immediately contacted me so we can schedule the install. Again, he stated he needed a two hour window Incase his team was behind, but worked with my availability. Upon installation, his team installed both replacements with the utmost efficiency. No mess, windows cleaned, stickers removed, and courteous. What impressed me the most was the transparency throughout the process. Arrival times of appts where always minutes before the scheduled time and the day of installation they notified me that they were behind by 30 mins but still within the 2hour window. In actuality, he didn't need to call because it was only 30mins after the his window time (ie 10am-12pm, they arrived at 10:30). Not once had I ever had to call them. They always contacted me first.
