Sergey and his team provided professional, punctual, and experienced window installation at a significantly lower cost than their competitors. I received 3 separate quotes from window companies I found on Yelp. All 3 companies gave quotes on Anlin-branded products, as the only window product I have ever heard of is Anderson Windows due to their heavy marketing. What separates Sergey and his competitors is: - Sergey spent time providing a lot of suggestions that would help air flow and aesthetics with just small changes in what direction the windows should open. - Sergey sat down with me, going through Anlin's catalogue to show what products they offered and the suggested products for my house and budget. Other vendors just told me to look at Anlin's website. - Sergey is very honest and upfront about what he does and doesn't do. He is "old-school" and is not a salesperson who flatters you to upsell you on products and services. I can see some people being upset about him not working on certain projects, but he sticks to what he knows and what is profitable for his business. This allows him to offer highly competitve pricing with quality work. Originally, because of budget, I asked for a quote for 5 windows and 2 sliding doors. BestOff was significantly lower then the other 2 quotes that I recieved, that I asked Sergey to give me a quote for all my windows and sliding doors, 14 windows and 4 sliding door. The quote for this was only slightly higher then the other 2 quotes I received from the other 2 companies for the 5 windows and 2 doors, and for the same Anlin window product. I believe Sergey is able to do this is he ONLY does window installation and reduces additional costs of doing everything. Also I don't think he applies the ZIP Code based quoting. - Sergey doesn't offer any financing products, but he will work with your financial needs. Before I recieved BestOff Window's quote, I inquired about financing programs with another company I received a quote for. I was sent a link that said it would not sell my information or affect my credit standing. I entered some simple information that included yearly income and contact information. It did not ask for SSN, so I fet it was ok. I ended up getting so much credit SPAM emails, at least 3-5 a day from several different companies. It left a bitter taste in my mouth, which I kind of glad it did because it gave me a chance to get a quote from BestOff/Sergey, get all my windows and sliding doors replaced, and save a lot of $$$. So ofcourse I was slightly nervous before installation, that there had to be something wrong with BestOff Windows, because how is Sergey able to provide such a highly competive quote for the same window product as my other quotes. But my nerves and fear were taken away, as Sergey's team provided highly professional and experienced work. Alex, lead installer, and his team showed up promptly at the given time on each of the 2 days of installation. They work fast and effieciently, while being detailed and clean. I can see Alex is highly experienced and each person had their specialized role in the installation depending on each person's experience and specialization. I have had other work done, including changing out 2 windows, a few years back, and I can see that Alex and his team had a effective system versus randomly installing windows, leaving room for error. He mentioned they install Anlin windows, a brand I was unfamiliar with, and provided a quote--but the quote did not specify which Anlin product line would be used. I specifically mentioned we have noise issues and needed sound-reducing windows. While drafting the quote, he said he had forgotten to include that and would update it. Later, when I did my own research on Anlin and asked him to clarify which exact window would be installed and whether the sound package was included, he abruptly refused to provide any clarification. He simply said there wasn't enough money in the project for him and told me to find someone else. This is completely unprofessional. I think we probably would have had it done 20 years earlier if we'd known what a pleasant experience it would turn out to be. We still had the original Likit windows that were installed when the home was built, which Sergey schooled me on - I never imagined a window guy who knows the history of his craft. After weeks of research and having 8 different companies come to give me estimates I literally said fk it and was about to give up. At first I narrowed it down to 3 companies (the other 4 were ridiculously expensive, they wanted 25+ grand for 11 windows and two sliders- sheesh) the three companies were CDW, AVW, and I forgot the other. CDW's salesman was actually really polite, but he was for sure a salesman, and I actually did like their product but 1) they were the most expensive of the three 2) they had horrible reviews 3) the call back guy was a fucking asshole. Period. He was disrespectful and kept throwing racist dog whistles AND told me if I wanted cheap windows to just go to Home Depot and have Jose do it- fk you pal I'm half Mexican and have an uncle named jose. Anyhow I told him what he could do with his windows. AVW- great reviews- the salesman was a nice guy but would Not budge on the price- he offered Amlin windows, 11 windows and two sliders for close to 18 grand and that's with some special they had. I told him I'd think about it. The other company actually had the best price out of the all of them at that time but after researching the brand he was selling I figured maybe I should just pay the extra three grand for a better product. This company also had good reviews but had some issues with new ownership and license #'s but it seemed to be fixed. So I was about to give up for the time being and put that money to a different project but then I came across Best Off Windows. Sergi, the owner came over on time and was actually a pretty cool guy. He gave it to me strait up. No sales pitch, just friendly, and gave and honest opinion about the two brands he was selling and their pros and cons. He measured the windows ( I only wanted the back windows bc that's where the sun hits and where my master bedroom is) and then gave me a quote. His quote was not only the most competitive but he offered the exact same product that the AVW guy was selling- for like 3 grand less. So of course we made a deal right then and there. A few hours later I thought since he gave such a good deal for a quality product, why not just get all the windows. So he came back, measured, gave a quote and we sealed the deal. He told me it would take 6-8 weeks and they came in 6 weeks! It was a three man crew. The finished upstairs first and then some downstairs on the first day and the second day they completed the project. They did an excellent job! No complaints! My house is much much much cooler now! Fkn fantastic. My neighbor has already called to order two sliders and my other neighbor said he was jealous. Lol. I definitely recommend not only for the competitive pricing and the quality product (Anlin) but because I like the owner Sergi. We contacted Bestoff for replacement windows in our 92 year old home. The windows were a mix of the original wood frame windows, many of which were painted shut. Aluminum sliding windows, which often rattled and leaked air. And leuvered glass slats, which leaked the worst of all. Not to mention, the lines on the slats were visually distracting and not very nice looking. We were looking to replace seventeen windows. Sergey's evaluation was friendly and professional and his estimate was very reasonable. After a bit of a wait (which was a bit slower than usual due to the current supply chain challenges), Sergey's team came to our home for installation. They were, as Sergey had been, friendly and efficient. After five hours, the windows had all been replaced without issue. We're really excited about the improved energy efficiency, style, finish, and noise reduction. So far, we've already seen a dramatic reduction in noise, and we're looking to see the results of the energy efficiency gains. Highly recommend. Sergey was very helpful and informative, and price was competitive and reasonable. Our house was built in the 1970s and still had the original windows and patio sliding door. Single-pane, let noise in, no temperature regulation, condensation, some mold we could never clean off, and difficult to open/close. We wanted at the bare minimum to replace everything with dual pane Anlin, but also had some ideas about maybe changing the style, or converting one window into a second sliding door to the backyard. We received an estimate from another company that first, was more expensive; but second, the salesman basically said Yes to everything. Sergey was the opposite: he told us what could be done, and what could happen as a result, and pointed out some things that had us rethink our ideas. For example, we inquired about the conversion of window to door. He measured. Yes, it could be done. But should we do it? How often would we use it? Our neighbor's fence is quite close, and would we feel as if we were giving up privacy? Did we expect to keep the blinds closed most of the time, in which case we wouldn't even see the doors often? Would they let in too much afternoon sun and in fact, make the room even warmer when we were trying to regulate the temperature? Another thing he helped us with was actually changing the direction one of the windows opened, so that when open, the air flow worked in tandem with a window that was across the room and helped cool the room more efficiently. He gave us lots to consider, and actually saved us money since he didn't try to upsell us on our (now silly) idea of converting a window to a door. Turnaround time was just a few weeks, compared to another company that was a few months out. His crew was professional and completed the work in just a few hours. We spoke on the phone yesterday to book the appointment for this morning to discuss my patio slider. He said he didn't work on Saturdays but he would make an exception and come out to take a look. Have done multiple projects with this company and up untill now have always been very satisfied. On my home i have some issues with the caulking within the first year. It seems to have shrunk and is showing cracks. Instead of just recaulking Surgay blamed the painter for not painting 1/16 onto the vinyl window trim. He then started yelling and made a big scene in front of my home. Later in the evening sent a nasty text stating he is not a handyman and he is not responsible for the caulking, his caulking on his home is fine and its not his problem.
