I had used this glass company in the past, and recently worked with the new owners after they took over. They were confident they could handle my project, so I left it to them and they delivered. The husband-and-wife team clearly takes pride in the business. The work was clean, efficient, and done right, especially with large mirror installation for my home gym. Great to see the same company in good hands. read more

I can't say enough good things about Diablo Glass Company in Concord! They truly saved the day when I had a last-minute glass emergency. I reached out with a tight deadline, and their team jumped right in without hesitation. They made the whole process stress-free and went above and beyond to accommodate my urgent needs. The quality of the work is exceptional. Called, talked to Kathy and sent the email with the information and pictures. Never heard back. Been well over a week. Called another glass company and they were on-site in two days, took the final meaurements, discussed the pricing and approximate lead time to install. And that was from the inside sales person who was on vacation returning texts after 7pm. It's not hard if you want busness. Just reply but then again they must be crazy busy with months of backlog and don't need the money. read more

This is the second time I've requested a quote from Diablo Glass. They never responded to my requests.

Had a seal fail on my shower door within warranty period. Said since I lived in Castro Valley it was "Too far away" for Diablo Glass to determine cause and perform corrections. This was after an appointment had been scheduled and was never directly told repair was denied. Wasn't too far away for a 5000.00 job though. Owner "Gary" not a stand up guy read more

We ordered a custom modern steel door for a customer and the windows available by the manufacture were only gray tinted. We wanted dark tinted and these are also also a double clear so the total window width is about 3/4 of an inch. I have worked with Diablo several times to get to custom windows for my customers garage doors that are not available in the colors that we think really stand out. We will recommend and continue to use Diablo Glass INC Www.reliablegaragedoorsccc.com 925-272-8477. read more

Diablo Glass installed our shower doors during remodeling some 15 years ago. Over that time, nary a problem. Today when I needed a single door roller wheel, they gladly provided a replacement gratis...without knowing the remodeling story! Great folks. Great product! Thanks Yvonne! read more

I highly recommend Diablo Glass, Concord, CA. We had three bathrooms remodeled and needed custom glass for our showers and my circa 1934 tub. Diablo Glass came out, measured exactly and found a solution for a glass door over my vintage tub that fit perfectly in the archway above. I was particularly impressed by the way they installed the glass so the intricate patterns in our tile could still be seen. My new glass doors were fabricated and installed quickly, and they are beautiful and work great! read more

We had a very bad experience here. My parents moved into the area and used movers who broke a plate of glass that went on the top of their TV console. So the mover said he had "a guy" to replace the glass for us. Turned out to be Diablo Glass. We provided them with the dimensions of the glass, which we measured twice by two different people. I went to pick up the glass and the woman who worked there was very friendly. She gave me the glass and it seemed smooth. When we got back we tried the glass and it didn't fit. I tried so many different ways to make it fit and it didn't fit. I ended up measuring one side of the glass versus the other side. It was 10/16th bigger on one side than the other (or so I measured). My mom called and spoke with someone named Jackie and got the WORST customer service we've experienced in a long time. Jackie was rude, short, condescending, the list goes on. Apparently, according to Jackie, 10/16th is the "margin of error" for their jobs at Diablo Glass. If it's off by 10/16th then that is all fine and dandy even though it doesn't even fit in the piece it was meant for. I mean, I am not SURE it is 10/16th off, it could be more. I am not a professional glass worker, measurer, etc. I tried my best, but what do I know? I'm a registered nurse, I don't work with glass! Jackie never offered us to bring the glass in to remeasure or anything, she was not apologetic. She just said they would not replace it and it's within the margin of error. Ironic how the exact measurement it is off is the margin of error, right? I mean what good is glass that doesn't fit? The mover paid $120 for it, which was nice that he did that, but we legitimately had to throw the console and the glass out because everything was unusable if the glass didn't fit. Jackie said we'd have to pay full price (no discount) for them to recut another piece of glass. I absolutely would not recommend this place!! Don't do it to yourself, go somewhere with integrity and will treat you with respect. read more

Yvonne was a great help. We needed a custom piece of glass cut to specific measurements. It was done quickly and accurately.

I found myself having to replace my glass slider double pain door. I personally contacted 4 separate companies. I was shocked at the cost being quoted by all the competitors of Diablo Glass. My highest quote was $ 1,100 more then what Diablo Glass did my install for. Initially I thought , the cost being quoted by Diablo was a mistake. I quickly found out, it was not, and found them to not only be priced extremely aggressive for the same work as others, but truly a quality company. I urge anyone needing glass work done at there homes to call them as they are more then fair and treat you as someone who truly is a value to them. read more

Be careful when buying from here. You need to be very specific with your request or the gals at the front desk will sell you the wrong items. Our contractor uses them so that's where we went to pick out our shower doors. We showed the gal in the showroom the shower doors we wanted that were in the showroom. However, when they arrived they were not what we ordered. Apparently, we called them "frameless" but they are called something else. It was a real pain because they had to be reordered which delayed the installation. read more

My wife and I brought in some old wood framed glass cabinet doors that needed some work done to them that was out of our DIY league. Greeted very friendly when we walked in and we came to the fix right away. Accurate lead times, which you almost never see anymore and quality service when we went to pick up. They were even able to find a better solution for us that saved us money! What's better than that!? Shout out to Yvonne(front of the house) and Richard (shop) both great customer service! No hesitation in recommending Diablo Glass for your next project, as we will be back for ours! read more

After dealing with a very non responsive HOA in my community regarding faulty windows that were not opening or shutting, I had to research on my own. I randomly made calls to window companies, glass companies and a few handymen. No one could help me until I got a hold of Yvonne at Diablo Glass. Without seeing or assessing the problem, she was very confident she could help me with just replacing the damaged balances in the window. Our tech assigned was amazing and so patient with a challenging task. He (Esequiel) was respectful and diligent re: his task and you can tell he was most professional about his job. I would def recommend this crew. From start to finish, I was impressed and best of all, their prices were reasonable and the problem was solved! read more

The team at Diablo Glass are just amazing. I mismeasured a piece of replacement window glass over a year ago. I finally got around to trying to replace the window and found out that I measured it too short. I took the piece of glass back with me to Diablo Glass, because I can't use it, and went to purchase a new piece. They told me they wouldn't charge me to cut a new piece and graciously took my mistake back. I will always return here for my glass needs simply because they are kind, understanding, well priced and darn-right great at their craft. read more

I am shocked on how they handled last request. We have order from them before and was satisfied till second installation came in they used cheap parts and charged arm and leg for it. My wife asked them to come out and check and very unprofessional lady replied back to her it's not their fault and if they come out to check on it they would charge 600 dollars wow..... never ever I would give them my business. So we spend with them over 8k for both installs not cheap. read more

I want to give high ratings to Diablo Glass. They put in my shower sliding door about 10 years ago. They did an excellent job back then. Recently we had a slip and fall that resulted in one of the shower doors dropping into the tub and shattering. (Thank God for tempered glass - a couple scratches, no cuts!) I returned to Diablo Glass to have it replaced. I picked it up last Friday. Richard brought it out to my suburban himself. I asked if the set up was ok for transporting the glass panel and he said it was - that the glass is really tough. He told me to just drive carefully. When my son brought it in and leaned it against the wall, he noticed a small area on one edge that was rough. Plus we noticed the hardware was opposite of the previous door. I called Monday and was advised to bring it back in. I took it in yesterday and Gary and Bob helped me. Gary took it back into the shop and smoothed and buffed the rough area out. He had Bob ( I hope I remembered his name correctly. I am terrible about remembering names), look at it and confirm that the hardware was backwards. They immediately set out to correct the hardware. I was there less than 45 minutes and I was back on my way home. The whole situation was handled so professionally and quickly. Mistakes happen and however it happened, Gary just said "let's fix it!" I appreciate this business and will highly recommend them. Not just for the initial install, but solving a problem 10 years later. Thank you! read more

I recently bought a wine cabinet and wanted to protect the wooden top from drunk adults and condensation off of the white/sparkling wine buckets. I initially looked online for custom glass tops but remembered in college I worked for a furniture store and we often outsourced to glass cutters. A quick Yelp search brought me to Diablo Glass. I called and they were able to provide a price quote of $37 over the phone and said I can come in, and the order and pick up the glass top the next day! Online quotes were around $80 and had a week turn around service! I walked in on a Friday morning, the staff was very friendly and helpful and called me 5 hours later to let me know my glass top was ready for pick up! My glass top came out beautifully and now I'm walking around my house wondering what else needs glass! Lol read more
