Love my new windows!! Guys were very respectful who worked at my house and Brian was very quick to respond when we were originally getting bids. His prices were cheaper than the other bigger company bids I received and I was glad he came out in person to measure and give me options! read more

Our windows look and work fantastic! We bought our home about 20 years ago and were due for an upgrade. We had a few contractors come out, but Brian offered the best design ideas, was easy to work with, and the Anlin windows sold themselves. The entire project took 3 days to install 3 sliding doors and six windows. The crew was professional and meticulous, the repaired termite damage and other issues that were discovered during the installation. The process went well and the quality of the work was superb! We definitely recommend Aames Windows and Doors! read more

Brian and his crew were awesome. We had to change shape of the windows - all went great, very professional, fast and thorough. I would highly recommend Aames Windows for sure! read more

These guys were amazing - I mean the crew - clean, clear and direct in what needed to be accomplished. And Brian - the owner was efficient and fair with his perfect measurements and pricing. Living on a hillside required infrastructure requirements for their ladders - you could tell they had "been there before and knew exactly what to do". 3 guys worked for 3 days to pull all 8 problem windows out and install our new windows perfectly. Nice to find a quality window and window guy - they fairly priced the 8 windows and delivered them when they said - with great installers. Dennis & Ann read more

Bad experience - we had windows replaced, the experience was poor so I wrote a bad review. The owner, Brian, called and apologized and offered a free window. I appreciated that so I removed the review. Unfortunately, he could never get us scheduled. We are now having more work done, including the remaining windows in our home and the contractor is appalled at the horrible work that was done by Aames. He showed us photos of pieces of wood (scrap pieces) used to "seal" the windows. There is moisture getting through which I had told Brian about, but he denied that was ever happening. So glad we trusted our intuition and went with someone else. read more

After getting several quotes for our windows, Brian was willing to match the lowest offer we received. We replaced 5 windows and a patio sliding door. Our complex required a specific kind of window and color, which Aames were able to accommodate. They were easy to work with, and responded to my questions in a timely manner. The windows weren't delivered at the agreed time, but we were told that shipments were delayed more than usual because of COVID. We re-scheduled, and Brian's crew got the job done in one day, they were very efficient. We're happy with the insulation and the cool breeze that comes through our home now. I highly recommend Aames windows! read more

Aames recently installed new windows and a glass slider on my home and I couldn't be more pleased. In addition to the installation, they cleanEd up some rotting wood around the windows and built and installed new window sills. Brian was helpful throughout the entire process, including answering any questions that came up. Not only did the installation go smoothly but the guys cleaned up after themselves, for which I give them high marks. I highly recommend Aames! read more

Brian was very helpful and honor his price as he quoted. Even though we delay the project for a few months. We needed two patio door replace as it was molding. They were very responsible. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up, and completed the projects quickly and as scheduled read more

Brian is very responsive and he makes things right. A slight misunderstanding in replacing our kitchen window and we have a better built and insulated window than the original track home window. Jose and Francisco were professional and did a fantastic job with the window and replacing our kitchen/garage door. They take their time and are meticulous. The price is definitely worth it. We highly recommend Ames Windows & Doors. read more

Brian at Aames was great to work with from the first time he came over to give us a quote, until the window was completed. The project was completed a day earlier than he told us and at the same initial quote. He was great to work with and would recommend to anyone looking to install new windows. read more

I received three quotes, Brian was the only quote handed to me in writing at the first meeting. The other guys told me the price but wanted to email me the written quote, but never did. Instead, they repetitively called offering deals on stuff I didn't want and bugged me to sign with them. His price was competitive and I trusted him. His guys showed up when he said they would and were professional throughout the project. If you go with Aames you know what you will get and when you will get it. I now have great windows and doors in my house, thanks to Brian at Aames Windows and Doors. read more

Just had new windows and doors replaced at our home and can't be happier with the service we received from Brian and his crew. We got several quotes from different company's and felt that Aames was best suited for our needs. From our first encounter to the finished product, these guys were fantastic. We had both new and retrofit windows installed throughout, as well as, new sheeting on one side of our house due to some minor dry rot. These guys were professional, polite and clean! We highly recommend Aames Windows and Doors. They deliver what they promise. read more

After getting some quotes we felt Brian and his team offered what we were after for replacement of 15 windows and 1 sliding door. we were regularly informed of delivery status and when they arrived we were scheduled for the following week. The crew arrived on time and kept us informed throughout the project. Timely and clean they took great care of the final product and how it looked and finished on time. The finished product was excellent and our house now seems quieter and cooler with the new windows. Professional service from start to finish, highly recommend Aames Windows read more

Very late post Brian and his team are awesome, they did an excellent job in replacing 15 windows in one day in our home! Then came back the next day a installed al sliding window door and finished up the window trims! It's been about 10'yrs now, knock on wood lol! 10 yrs later with no issues! This in not the first time I've seen his excellent work. Definitely would use him again; in fact I Just happened to be looking him to see if he was still around. For possibly 2-4 more windows and 1-2 exterior doors ? If reasonably in our budget! read more

From start to finish, working with Aames was a pleasure. The owner, Brian met me at my house, drew up an estimate and completely blew me away with a totally affordable price to replace almost every single window in my house (including a huge picture window and sliding glass door) with new Anlon Catalina windows. His crew arrived on time, installation was done in about two days and my house was left spotless. I am super happy with my new windows and highly recommend Aames. read more

I was very pleased with my decision to have Brian's team install my windows. Ismael & Jose were very pleasant and installed the windows and cleaned the areas each day. My house is old and due to settling they encountered an issue, resolved it and my windows and patio door look and work great. When I decide to change out the remaining windows I will call them again in a heartbeat ! read more

One of the greatest experiences I have had with any company. Delivered on time, under budget, and the install was painless and clean. Highly recommended. read more

We looked at several different window companies in Petaluma and decided on Aames Windows & Doors. The choice was driven not only by the quality of the product but also by the competitive price and owner Brian, who was a joy to work with throughout the whole process. Brian's installation team were quick, tidy and whenever possible they were mindful to shift noisy work around my baby's nap schedule, which was much appreciated! We've had the windows just over two weeks and we're really happy with the look and are still amazed at how quiet the house is compared to before. Overall a great experience and a great product! read more

We had Aames install 4 large dual-pane windows and 1 sliding glass door for us back in December. The owner Brian and one other guy took out all of our old windows and installed all the new windows in only one and a half days! They worked very fast and efficiently, and they were definite pros in installation. Our windows were installed before the heavy rains we had, and we haven't had any problems with leakage or anything else. Excellent installation. The reason I give them 4 stars out of 5 is because the professionalism was not quite where we would have expected it to be. Brian came to our house late a few times, and it was difficult to contact him via phone and email. Aames definitely has the best prices around, though, they're good at what they do, and they are a nice small family-owned business, so I would recommend them to friends, and I would use them again. read more

Aames is fantastic. Last year I had Brian replace six windows that were slanted and looked very hard to deal with, especially after years of subtle earthquake damage. Another contractor had given me an annoying pricey explanation so I was happy to hear that Aames would do the job without a headache. They were pretty timely in their arrival to install and relatively fast. I am very happy with the results and the price was reasonable. Will work with Aames again in the future. read more

Brian and his team did a great job with our windows and doors. I would recommend him in a instant.

Brian was just a pleasure to work with! We requested an estimate to replace our front door and an extremely odd-shaped window. He arrived on time for our meeting (always a plus for me, I like to know that contractors consider my time is just as important as theirs), and even called before heading to our house to let us know he was on his way. He was able to tell us how to best handle the tricky window replacement and had the pamphlets for the window suppliers ready when we wanted to see examples of how everything would look. It really couldn't have been easier...and it was so nice to have someone willing to come to our house to give us the estimate when we had so many concerns about how things would work...it's that extra customer service approach that goes a long way and earns repeat business! read more

I highly suggest Aames Windows & Doors. We needed a quality company to come in during the updating of our home in Danville, CA. Brian promptly came out for the estimate, let us know what it was going to take and was able to get to work within days. The work came out great and I could not have asked for a better experience. Very personable and efficient throughout the entire process. Price was reasonable and seemed to be inline with the other companies we shopped. I highly suggest Aames Windows & Doors. read more

Brian, the owner, was very professional and had a very fair bid. He showed up on the job every day. We replaced all the windows in our house and his installers, Ismael and Jose did a fantastic job. They were very respectful and cleaned up every day. They did an amazing job installing the windows and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Aames Windows & Doors. read more

Had a fabulous experience with Aames transforming our home. They installed two sets of sliding glass doors where we previously had large windows, and also replaced another older window. We got quotes from several "big national" kind of places and Aames was comparable or slightly better but with much more responsive, high-touch service and faster turnaround times. The turnaround time after shipping to install was immediate, Brian the owner was available and present for any questions and gave excellent and thoughtful, not "dollar chasing" advice. The installation workers were absolutely fabulous during the several days they were at the home: friendly, fast, thorough, diligent, impeccable at post-job cleanup. I feel like I have totally new rooms with the finished product -- the look and function is outstanding. I love finding local businesses that are all they are cracked up to be and this is definitely one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend! read more

I had Aames windows replace 28 windows and a slider patio door. I received 8 estimates from other window companies in the area, with Aames windows being the second to last quote. I chose Aames windows because of Brians honest sales presentation. They did a fabulous job! Brian was very professional, knowledgeable and did not pressure me in any way. He informed of the product, gave me a quote (which I was very happy with), and told me to call him when I was ready. We signed the contract and in three weeks the windows were in and ready to be installed. Brian and his crew always kept me in the loop. Brian was easy to deal with, always on time, and very patient with me. The installers were clean and I am very happy with their work. We had an old garden window, with granite stone laid on top of the garden. Other companies did not want to touch the garden window, being afraid that they would break the stone. Aames windows remove the granite as a whole piece, and install the new garden window. We also had two bedroom windows cut down to meet code, one bedroom window was new construction, a garden window, patio door, and my favorite: a regular window turned into a bay window. Beautiful!! The windows look amazing!!! I highly recommend you to call Aames windows & doors read more

the windows are a great window, the workers use the wrong calking colors pn the outside of the windows .Ocal and they had a crew out to fix it and when one step beyond by paining around the windows to match the house. The in side of the house i had no problems Nice to have someone come back and make things right Thank you read more

If you're looking for someone who will flake and reschedule all the time, Brian's your guy! He was very unprofessional, the way he handled his business. He may come off friendly at first and establishes a good rapport with his clients, but he gets a little too comfortable thinking you guys are "friends" and he can just cancel on the same day because he has another job that needs to be finished elsewhere- as if your home project isn't as important. Though the job eventually gets finished, it's because he realizes he won't get the rest of his payment until he completes his work. I would NOT recommend him or his company. read more

Brian, along with his installation team, did a great job of replacing the windows in our fifty year old house. Much quieter and more comfortable all around. Brian was the only person who actively gave us design tips that made our house look great. No other window companies offered that kind of help. We also found his pricing to be very competitive with our other estimates. Great experience all the way around. Highest recommendation. read more

Aames windows and Doors installed all new Anlin windows at my home. I am happy with the product and service. I am not the kind of person to pick the first option I find. I did a lot of research and received a lot of bids. I would recommend the product and the Company. read more

We just got our window job done. We thought we would replace only a large window and the patio door but ended up doing the whole house! Brian gave us a great quote on a good quality product. Very happy with the installation! It looks wonderful. Brian and his team of guys are very professional and great to work with. We had some issues getting the large window as it's an irregular size. Brian worked with us to get exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend going with Aames!! read more

From the initial estimate meeting with Brian to the final install Aames was a pleasure to work with. Brian was on time, honest and patient when quoting our job with multiple options. He took the time to explain all my options and what he recommended would be best for our home. He was able to work around our hectic schedule and was willing to reschedule installation when needed. His installation team was professional, quick and was willing to work around us having a newborn at home . Our windows look beautiful and will no doubt make our home more efficient. Quick follow up with Aames Windows. The factory shipped the wrong window. Brian installed anyway and waited for new window to arrive. As soon as it arrived his crew was here and replaced the factory error. Great job these guys did. Very happy with quality of work. read more

I had Aames Window and Brian install windows for me house in Cupertino,CA. Brian came out himself promptly for an estimate and got the numbers back to me on the spot! I interviewed a few companies and Aames was by far the most prompt and efficient! One thing to note is the window products they use is very high quality, even the base models had installed were much better than most windows in this range, The job was completed today and everything looks great! So for now I highly recommend Aames Windows! Obviously I have not had any Warranty issues since these are new but if I every require it in the future, I will update my review! read more

We ordered a window for a bathroom remodel, and didn't get a call when the window was in, didn't show up to install the window when scheduled, and came late for the re-schedule. The window was installed crooked, so one side is closer to the framing then the other. The stucco will need to be sloped inward to hide that. They patched the hole from the old window with the scratch coat of stucco, which even having had the dimensions and photos, showed up and charged more because they "didn't know it was that much," and they left a mess of stucco and garbage when they were done. We're not impressed. read more

We just had Brian replace 4 very old (and ugly) windows in our home and we couldn't be more pleased. Brian was very friendly and did an excellent job. He and his crew got all 4 windows done in 1 day and didn't leave a mess like some other contractors do. We will definitely use Aames again. read more

Brian and his very capable team - Israel and Ishmael were top notch installers all the way from demo to cleanup. They were skilled in the window installation and also handled the painting of outside trim, and the staining of the inside trim perfectly and neatly. I was pleased with the waterproofing and flashing. What more can you ask of a contractor - honest, clean, punctual, with an attention to detail and the ability to find a workaround if necessary. No supervision was required as they completed everything in a timely manner. We love our new windows! read more

First off I want to alert people to check Brian's filtered reviews. For whatever reason yelp filters all the good ones and posts the negative reviews first. We called on Aames windows and doors to have only one window changed above the front door. Brian and his crew showed up promptly and started working to get a very old stuck window out. Brian made sure to cover my furniture and floors to protect them from any glass pieces. They were so careful and courteous of my home. They put the new window in and it looks AMAZING! We are very pleased with Brian's hard work. He even swept up my floors and vacuumed! That's what I call good service. If we ever need another window put in we will for sure call Aames windows. Thanks Brian! read more
