He also agreed to use fiberglass tape because paper drywall tape has a tendency to bubble if not properly applied, which it has now. Moreover, the cause for drywall tape bubbling or cracking is almost always not enough mud under the tape or too much mud on top. This was not the professional job I expected.

I also needed the old rusted toilet flange removed from the pipe, which involved a sawzall, chisel and some hard work. Rick answered the phone, clarified what I needed, purchased the material and delivered it, tore out the old subfloor that needed replacing, and installed the new subfloor and did the demolition on the old toilet flange.
