DOOR- used my piece or rotten plywood after he said he get a new piece Used lots of spray foam to fill where there should've been wood despite my concerns of rodents and I explained it not rodent proof ROOF: He didn't patch the tar and gravel portion despite repeatedly telling me he had. Mike finally admitted ha hadn't after I let him know I'd been on the roof and there was no patching. He still charged me for the materials and labor. He used a roof coating that breaks down with standing water Rained as forecasted a few hours after applied. A large depression filled with rain and coating is gone. He has my deposit and says he has receipts but won't share them. His invoice charges are wrong like a charge for 1 quart of water seal for $48, which is the charge for 5 gallons. Most of the items he said he had and would use. I'm charged for entire rolls when he only used a foot or two Besides the mesh, he charged $200 in materials for 4 vents All the work he did needs to be redone. Well, as mentioned in my last review, Sean and he crew did such a great job painting a couple years…read moreback that we invited him back in to handle our kitchen remodel. Once again, we were very happy with this choice! Not only was his work impeccable, he helped me greatly with suggestions to improve without shoving his thoughts down my throat. I could tell him in general how I wanted to see things and, for example the lights, and then trust that they would figure out what looked best. When my Fridge cabinet came in and was too high (Big gap between the top of the fridge and the cabinet) he looked around our trim supply and came up with a solution immediately. You'd never know that the cabinet wasn't designed that way! He even freshened up the tile floors that I couldn't afford to replace at this time with new grout, not to mention saving me from making a horrible design choice with the paint. They were going to come back the next day to lay the new floor, and so I had limited time to find someone to help with this job. I also needed the old rusted toilet flange removed from the pipe, which involved a sawzall, chisel and some hard work. Rick answered the phone, clarified what I needed, purchased the material and delivered it, tore out the old subfloor that needed replacing, and installed the new subfloor and did the demolition on the old toilet flange. Everything that I needed done, that same day, at a very reasonable price. Very happy with Rick's service, communication, attentiveness, and willingness to tackle a project he hadn't done before. He helped us pick the perfect color for the interior trim and the border lines on the exterior are super sharp. The window are beautiful! Rick also did a number of other jobs for us since then: drywall repair on kitchen ceiling, installation & painting quarter-round trim for ~21 ft exposed beam, installation of matching vinyl quarter-round for floating floor around brick fireplace, installing a Ring doorbell, repairing a bad bathroom cabinet door hinge whose screw was stripped, and installing a covered cable run for A/V cables on our TV room wall. Every job was done to perfection and Rick listened to what we wanted; quite often, he helped us come up with something even better than we originally had in mind!
