She gave suggestions when we needed guidance and did a fantastic job on taking my dress in and hemming the bottom, adjusting straps, adding in breast cups and creating my bustle. Nadia also altered my traditional Chinese dress (cheongsam) under the underarms so it fit better. The dress had a lot of embroidery and sequins. You would have never known it was altered! She is also pricier than other seamstresses I've shopped around with. She has a limited schedule. When I did my initial fitting she kind of waited for me to tell her what I wanted fix. I knew dress didn't fit perfectly but I couldn't pin point how to fix it. The seamstress I worked with for my reception dress was a lot more helpful in guiding me on what should be done. The one thing I did ask for (tightened straps), she didn't recommend because she thought it would cut into me when I moved--I was constantly pulling them up on my wedding day. One thing really bothered me. When I booked, she stated there would be 2-3 fittings. However; when I asked when I asked when my 2nd fitting would be she said she was fully booked. Like I said earlier, she has a limited scheduled. I was really nervous, but I was able to book at G&G instead of at her house so I was able to get my second fitting. It food well enough that I didn't ask for any adjustments because I was already frustrated with the situation. The hemming and bustle she did were okay. The extra breast cups she put in were loose and could have been done better. I think Nadia was a skilled seamstress but I would choose someone else if I could do it all again. I would have preferred to use the seamstress I had for my reception dress. The communication, scheduling, and pricing was much better.

My bf went to pick it up and FaceTimed me to verify which dress is mine. I saw threads sticking out when he left and told him to get it fixed/cut by the owners. The lady yelled at my boyfriend to leave and that he had no idea what he's talking about and to try it at home. I tried it and it's all sorts of fucked up. Heels were what I wore at the fitting to get it hemmed. I will be wearing flats now and hoping the tailoring doesn't show. 55$ for the tailoring and rude service upon pick up.
