Needed to install some carpet and luxury vinyl planking in our new home. Asked who had done the LVP at church and learned it was Austen of Custom Carpet Creations; learned another friend had also used him and had a great experience.
Austen was very helpful to my wife and I with plenty of samples and insight into what would work in our situation. His prices were great. His workers were extremely skilled and fast, and we were thrilled with the results. The carpeting job included screwing down squeaky subflooring and a stairway.
The job required removing and replacing a toilet, which Austen did no problem. We replaced some appliances and the LVP workers put them in place but left me the responsibility of hooking them up to new fixtures. I loved how the LVP guy had an "air sled" which moved our heavy appliances on a cushion of air to avoid scratching the new flooring!
Based on our friend's experience we are now ordering a large carpet made into a rug for our home, with finished edges and felt on the bottom. read more
