I needed a radio for my new little Smart Car- I called and was informed with great politness that they could indeed help. When I went the next day Mark was efficient, timely and to the point. The radio was in and I was out in an hour-What a place! read more

I showed them 2 receivers that i bought elsewhere - a Pioneer FHX-720BT receiver( double din) and another JVC KDX310BT player(single din) - and wanted to know the cost difference to install them. The price quoted was 80$ for the double-din an 55$ for the single-din. Harness/kit was about 30$. Patricia was polite and explained the costs including harness/kit. She also told me where the microphone would be placed. I spent some time in Peet's around the corner while they installed the Pioneer. I must say the player sounds great and its a breeze to setup the bluetooth. read more

I normally am not in a habit of writing reviews, but the excellent service I received at custom audio compels me to write one. Custom Audio installed GPS audio-video in-dash receiver in my Prius. Mark performed the installation. The extra care & effort that Mark put into installation becomes apparent in all the finer details and finishing of the installation. All of this is done at a very reasonable price. I know that because I shopped around for price and Custom came to be on the lower side, even if its not the lowest. I feel i got a great value considering the amount of effort put into this. But what impressed me the most is the after service i received. My installation ran into a problem after a few weeks, which is not completely due to their fault. But Mark & Thong were very helpful and corrected the situation. it clearly shows that they stand behind their work and that gives me a great piece of mind. read more

Great service and price! We got a CD stuck in our auto CD changer, and the dealer wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars to remove it. We took it to Custom Audio and paid only $50. Later we noticed that some of the lights in the dashboard were no longer lighting up. We didn't know if this had anything to do with the work that Custom Audio did, so we called them. Thong Le said the bulb probably blew out and offered to replace it free of charge if we brought in a new bulb. Even though he had nothing to do with the bulb dying, he replaced it for us and now the lights are fine. read more

I purchased a Dice media bridge and DSP adapter for my BMW X5. I had a hard time installing it myself because the kit didn't come with all of the required cables. Mark at Custom knew exactly what to do and thew in the needed coax cable and an aux cable at no extra charge. All cables and equipment were professionally installed and out of sight. Everything works as expected. Great speedy service! read more

I went to get a stereo installed on a Saturday. Thong was helpful showing me the Bluetooth stereos that were within my budget and installed it the same day. I had an issue with my radio periodically going out and Thong replaced the terminals for free when he put the new stereo in. Strongly recommend. read more

After dealing with the ineptitude of a Fry's installation that went nowhere after 3 hours, called Custom Audio and spoke to Mark. Told him the situation, and as luck would have it, he had an immediate opening so that my wife could bring the car in for the install. Within an hour, as the wife and kids grabbed a bite to eat at Frankie, Johnnie & Luigi's, the car was done with a freshly installed stereo. Mark was courteous and professional. After a few basic pointers on the operation of the new deck, the wife and kids were on their way home. If you're in the market for a new sound system, whether you get it online or not, come to Custom Audio to have it installed. You'll be happy you did. read more

They got the job done 30 minutes earlier than they said they would. They did not overcharge me and did only the work that needed to be done

Thong is a cool dude and does great work needed to get a TV installed in my car and he did really great work and was always really funny and joking around, while doing such a great job he cares about the work as well as the customers. To top it off his prices are the best as well cant go wrong way better service and work than Best Buy. Highly recommend. read more

We needed after market backup camera and screen installed in a 2008 Honda Civic. We made an appointment with Le who gave us a reasonable quote over the phone. I had a pretty bad experience dealing with my car's tints. I took it here because my friend had taken 2 cars here before. The price is fair, but I guess you get what you pay for. He quoted me $180 for 5 window tints. I own a 2013 Genesis Coupe, and this price is pretty good compared to what other shops quoted me. Anyway, I ended up going with a 5% tint on the back 3 windows, and 35% on front two. He told me to leave the car for the day, since he had another car before mine already, which is completely understandable. I left for work, and picked it up right before closing time at 6pm. The tints were terrible. It was sooo bubbly but he promised me that they would go away. He told me it was from the water (?) and that parking it in the sun would get rid of them. He also told me not to roll my windows down for a whole week. A week later I roll my windows down only to find out the drivers side window was done incorrectly, and there was a crackling noise every time I rolled the window down the first inch. I took it back to him and also complained about the bubbles which still hadn't gone away after a week. He seemed annoyed at me cause I had already complained about the bubbles. He said "I already told you the bubbles would go away". All my other friends that took it to other places had their cars given to them without any bubbles at all and told them they only had to wait 2 or 12 hours without rolling their windows down. He told me to take it back a few days later because he was busy. I took it back about 2 days later and left it there again for the whole day. This time it had minor bubbles, maybe about 3 (which was better than the 50 bubbles it had before). Again I didn't use my windows for a week like he instructed and the only flaw now is a tiny dust bubble on my driver side window. I guess he doesn't use an enclosed space when tinting the windows like other shops do. The fix was free and he said if anything happens to them to take it back and he will fix it, which makes me feel a bit better. I just hate that it took him two tries to get it right, and even now it's not perfect. But for $180 I guess it's alright. My friend's two other cars came out really clean, I'm not sure if it's something about the way my driver windows are curved or something. read more

Lee owner of Custom Audio is OG in this business. Always eager to help and good pricing too. thanks Lee!

Came in at about 3:30, even though they close at 6. They hopped on my car right away and started tinting it and got it done before they closed. I drive a 4 door audi and they had to tint 7 windows. My total came out to about $220. While other auto tinting shops quoted me for about $500 which is more than double the price here. Id recommend this shop. read more

I will try to keep this short. I went to this Custom Audio to have my two front windows tinted on my Range Rover. Came to pick up my truck and paid for the tinting in cash ($75). After pulling out of the shop I notice my rearview mirror has been cracked right down the middle, I turned around immediately. The shop owner refused to take any responsibility for the rearview mirror and basically said it was caused by the heat, come on.. its 75 degrees outside. After unsuccessfully trying to come to some solution with the shop, I left defeated. Now I am replacing my review mirror which will cost $150, so the total tally for my window tinting comes to $225. I believe my mirror may of been broken unintentionally, regardless I dropped my car off with a clean mirror and it was returned broken. The customer is always right and this shop is concerned with is getting there $75 and could care less about customer service. In the car repair business, customer service will make or break you. Good luck guys, karma is a B**CH. To all prospective customers, take your business elsewhere. read more

Two weeks ago, I bought a car stereo from Best Buy. They were asking $80 for the installation and I was required to leave the car for 1/2 a day. I found Custom Audio which is close to my job. I was in a hurry and told the owner that I only had 30 minutes. He was able to accommodate and completed the job in just 10 minutes. He did a clean job, only charging me $30. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a reliable place to install car stereos. They are amazing! read more

Often, a business is defined by how it handles problems when they arise. Thanks to a miscommunication, I brought my truck in a 5pm for an alarm installation rather than at 1pm as the owner thought. Rather than making me wait until the next day, he took care of the installation right away even though it tool until well after closing to do so, and even though the miscommunication cost him business. Now that is customer service, and I am now a fan and will bring all my business to Custom Audio. read more

Should of went to the OG of the audio game first. Would have saved myself a ton more money. Thanks to Custom Audio. Thanks for figuring out that one of my original installers didn't wire things up correctly and Custom Audio fixed the issue. Do not take your car for window tinting here. The husband and wife team does a sloppy job and the customer service sucks. My car window has dried bubbles and the guy said it's dried water from the outside and to clean it with Windex but the mess is between the tint and the glass so it is impossible to clean it with anything. It also seems they are used to customer complaints and arguments. They do not take responsibility for their sloppy work and will blame the customers instead. I've had tinting done on my other cars before and was never told not to roll the window down for a week. The tint still has dirt or dried bubbles even if you do wait a week like they said. Because of their bad attitude and limited English I just decided not to come back anymore. I will most likely report the store to the Better Business Bureau instead of wasting my time arguing with their nonsense. They also have only two month warranty compared to lifetime warranty offered by real and professional tinters and they said because of customers complaints so they give only 2 month warranty and to me it means they had many customer complaints and do not take responsibility for the result of their bad job. Beware of this shop even with limited english they are rude to customers especially unhappy customers who comes back. Their cheap price is not worth bringing your car here. Maybe the good reviews they get are only with audio installation but their tinting job is horrible. read more

Honest diagnosis, reasonable prices, fast services - i couldn't have asked for anything more. HIGHLY recommend these guys!!!

Thong Le helped me pick out a new deck with ipod connectivity and bluetooth and installed it the very next day in under an hour while I was on my lunch break. The charges for labor were VERY reasonable. What would have totaled me 500-600 at other stereo places cost me only HALF that amount at Custom Audio. It might not be the fanciest looking stereo shop in town, but it certainly gets the job done at a very reasonable price! read more

Wow! Needed to replace the defective woofers in my car and to have an old phone kit removed. Got a quote from a highly recommended shop and then came here for a second opinion. Thanks to Mr. Le I got new speakers for less than half of the prior quote and the labor cost was 75% less. He said be needed three hours but got it done in two. I just wish there was more I could have him do. A real gentleman and an artist. Do not hesitate to go there! read more

I went here long time ago before Yelp existed, to have my Infinity speaker installed in my car and the sales guy showed me his Acura Legend with all nice Focals in it. We went to the showroom and he tried to sell me the Clarion head unit to replace my factory radio, so i decided to buy it. Once I paid for it, I went out to let them install it and came back in an hour later and everything was installed. I was curious to look at other stuff in the showroom and went inside again. I suddenly see that the Clarion head unit that I purchased was not on display anymore and I inquire about it to him. He told me that they have installed it into my car. I was like WTF??? I paid and expected for a new one, but instead he pull out the head unit from the demo room to be installed in my car. I was furious, but he insisted that it is still new and that is the last one left and the price was already discounted, plus they cover the warranty as it was new for 1 year, so I just accepted it. Not sure why (I just started college as an international student and still dumb). Weeks later, I checked the price to a different store and that was not true. The other store are cheaper. Few months later I met a friend who is a car audio enthusiast and he offered to upgrade/install the speaker with amplifier and components. From there I notice there is always a white noise hiss coming from the left channel. He tested it and he found out that it was the Clarion head unit. I went back to Custom Audio to claim the warranty and they laughed at me for having some cheap amp and components that is causing the noise issue, plus it was not installed by them. I decided to bring my friend in, to have a talk with them and they still insulted me and refuse to replace them for me. My friend was an installer and also competed in USAC and IASCA. I asked my friend assistance to call Clarion and he got a hold of the sales rep and explain the whole situation and the rep told us to go back to Custom Audio in the next day or two to pick up a brand new model of the Clarion head unit. I was a happy camper :) When I arrived, I can tell that the sales guy and the installer (I believe he was the owner) was very un-happy to see me. I gave him back the old Clarion and pick up the new one. You know what they said to me??? "Don't come back here" I was like....who cares and F U! I will never go back. Be careful with this business, bunch of scumbags. read more

I chose Custom Audio based on the Yelp reviews they had received already. Boy, was I glad I did. I wanted to connect my iPod to the aux input of my factory stereo. There was no hard sell -- they explained my options and helped me choose what I wanted. The price for installation was very reasonable. When the hardware wasn't installed exactly the way I wanted it (my fault - l wasn't clear initially), they reinstalled it free of charge.
