When he finally moved, I go inside and he was the worker. I asked him if they do sub repairs and he said they only sell and install which is BS because in their yelp it says repairs. I am regretting getting a stereo installed here so badly. January 6th 2023 I get the stereo installed, January 9th 2023 my transmission blows $2500 to get it fixed. Never crossed my mind it had to do with the stereo throughout these years. There was always something wrong either the screen glitching, usb charging cables burning, always a "caution over current" "no video signal" sign on the screen. Never enough for me to make a big deal until Transmission control module burns August 17th 2025. Mechanic replaced with a new one 8/18/2025 , TCM burns again 8/19/2025, 8/20/25 mechanic is figuring out why TCM is burning and finds there is a short circuit coming from the stereo wiring which is causing transmission problems. He had to unplug and now I have to figure it out. Don't recommend to spend your money here. I paid $1600+ for worthless labor and transmission problems due to where they took current from. ZERO stars from me. read more

I took his advise and did more research into the various options that were available in the market. You could get a cheap radio from Amazon including all features that you can think of, but the reliability is low. Or you could get a more expensive brand-name system but will cost you an arm and a leg. Or you could get a portable CarPlay monitor that would work great without ripping your original radio apart but you have to deal with dangling wires and and occluded dashboard.
