I was especially pleased to see they offer the Thinkware U3000 Pro, which is widely regarded as one of the best dash cams available. It also includes a three-year warranty, which says a lot about their focus on quality, reliability, and customer experience. I purchased the system along with a cabin camera. Their professional installation technicians had everything installed and ready to go in less than two hours. The wiring was exceptionally clean and completely hidden--you cannot see where any of the wires run. The technician also spent time walking me through the operation of the system, which I appreciated. My only suggestion would be to add a basic customer waiting area. It could also give customers more time to check out the impressive car-audio products they offer. It is great to support a local business that delivers real quality and value--something you do not always get when purchasing online.

I paid this installer $150 per hour to install my car audio system. While the system functions, I…read morewas disappointed with several aspects of the installation quality and attention to detail. The amplifiers were mounted inside the wheel well area, but when it came time to reinstall the trunk floor cover, it would not sit flat because the amplifiers were mounted too high. Instead of redesigning the installation so everything fit properly, the subwoofer enclosure had to be forced into the trunk, leaving a noticeable hump in the trunk floor. For a professional installation, I expected all factory panels and covers to fit correctly when the work was completed. I am also concerned about the amplifier placement because the amplifiers become very hot after driving on warm days. While I understand that amplifiers generate heat, mounting them in a confined area with limited airflow does not seem ideal for long-term reliability. Another concern is the grounding configuration. The capacitor was grounded directly to the battery, and both amplifiers were grounded through the capacitor rather than using a local chassis ground. While there may be technical reasons for this approach, it was never explained to me, and it differs from what many installers typically do in trunk-mounted systems. Better communication regarding the design choices would have been appreciated. Overall, the system works, but the fitment issues, equipment placement, and lack of attention to the finished appearance left me disappointed. For the price charged, I expected a cleaner installation, proper fitment of the factory trunk components, and a more professional final result.

Great prices i can say, not sure about qaulity, not really professional, terrible customer service, Had one of the worker give me crap for stand by my car watching the installation... (i like to see that im a sure that there doing a good job) I had to wait 3 hrs, the 1st hour & 1/2 my car was just sitting there... Reason for 1 star review. I came here to get my alarm installed thinking its great because of the reviews. The manager seem alright but... I seen a couple cars come back with problems. My alarm was installed and working well but the tech didn't shut my hood properly secure as I left the shop and enter the freeway my hood flew open and smashed into my windshield, having that done so blocking my visual I was just lucky that I didn't get hurt or hurt any one in the process.. I called audiowerk right away, and told them what happen. They didn't respond to me as I thought they would. They state once I left the shop there not responsible... I told them but your guy didn't shut hood my properly. He states "my guy said it was shut and it was aligned with the body".. I asked him did you guys actually checked to see the hood was latch and secured. They respond it looks shut and one of the other work seen it shut... They don't wanna take responsibility for what happened, the worst part is that they didn't even apologize or ask if I was hurt or was any one else hurt. They just wanted to defend their shop and a sure that they are not hold countable for what happened. I would never recommend this shop to any of my friends. Also I know for a fact that a few people that work there are not licensed or even went to school for particular field. Also just found out my alarm still isn't acting properly, Door trigger on front passanger isnt hooked up correctly, Dome light doesnt go on when i trigger the alarm, My battery was dead the next morning... My car is still sitting in the shop for repairs.. Cost me $3,000 for repairs... Regret ever coming here. As soon as i get my car repair gonna take it a professional to get my alarm fixed... read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Let me start by saying I came here and decided to give this shop a try considering I live close to it. I needed an amp and sub setup. Not going to say how much I payed but I got ripped off. Let's just say I got home and looked up each individual item and they were way less than what I payed for. But that's not what I'm most upset about. I waited almost 3 hours for a sub and amplifier installation. At first I didn't mind because I was thinking they were professionals and were taking they're time to make everything neat and tidy. By the time they were done and I went out to check the job they had done I was very shocked to see the wires sloppy. Don't get me wrong the Asian owners of the shop were really cool and convincing but the installers are they're problem. Very janky, unprofessional, and rude. I went to peek at my car to see how they were doing, the old Hispanic guy rudely responded "do you Wana do it yourself" when I asked him a question. I was fed up at that point and went back in and told the manager to take everything out and I wanted my money back and that I did not like they're service and he replied "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". At that point I laughed and walked away with a lesson learned. Also watch out because they're known to give you the displays and sell it to you as brand new out the box. Ridiculous. So I went to Bryan at SOUND SYSTEM PLUS were he did a clean up for free. Moral of the story, don't go here. They are rude and unprofessional. The installers are super sloppy. read more

My Name is yang I went to this audiowerk place and met Sean he seemed like a nice person, I got in my 2008 Honda pilot front door speakers and a $600 kenwood double din. I was there on 5-18-14 not long ago only 2months ago. Well let's just put this short I payed for the kicker speakers he was going to install in my 2008 Honda pilot and also the double din. Once I paid he had told me he was going to give me a call. This guy was so close to me we got along so well. Story is short when my pilot was ready I drove it home it didn't sound as loud as the kicker speakers I had on it. So I decided to take the door panels apart and I was so pist it has used speakers they didn't install what I had payed for ?!! My kenwood double din has a couple of scratches it was used !! I cannot believe this guy is doing this to people's vehicles he is stealing used stuff and selling used stuff cannot believe this please all you custermors (DO NOT GO TO THIS PlACE). This guy was so close to me that he would tell me everything he would tell me he would go bang some chicks after work at massage places where the asian ladies are this is so nasty. He is married has 2kids and shouldn't be doing that stuff. Also I spoke to some dood there I believe it was his installer very nice honest guy he told me this guy has been doing allot of frauds and ripping people off for the past 10years !! Someone has to stop this guy!! He also called yelp to erase my last review but here I am helping custermors to not go there to get ripped off. read more

normally i shop for allmy electronic gadget online. it is usually cheaper online than the regular brick and mortar stores. anyway i made a printout of the price i can get online and went to audiowerk to see if i can get a clifford alarm and jvc cd player with bluetooth built-in install into my 2004 chevy tahoe for about the same price. audiowerk's price was a little higher and similar to best buys. but after adding the installation price on top of the price i was to get online the price at Audiowerk ended up being the same. so i go ahead and purchased the items from audiowerk. i was glad to find out that the warranty for both parts and labor are in-store and hassle-free versus if i would have purchased the products online i would have to get warranty for the product from the online store. good to know that. so far so good and i am happy everything worked out well. better than i thought actually because that the jvc unit sounds great and the alarm gives me peace of mind when i sleep at night knowing it is protected. read more

These guys have been here for a long time... Every time I have a problem problem with my car system I come see these guys. My system has gone out on me a couple of times (different cars) I bring it to them an they figure out what is wrong with it in just a couple of minutes. They do the job while you wait, there is a room in their shop with a television (waiting room) they let you watch what ever you want like if you were at home. We came here for our first time and to our mistake, brought our two vehicles. On one of them it was to get a new stereo installed and on the other car it was to have the antenna fixed. Well, had problems with both cars and had to come to get it fixed!!! There customer service is awful! And there work is even worse!!!! Went there this afternoon to find out the problem with my audio system. All the employees were nice and found that the problem was a blown piece in the sub. He asked me if i would like to send it back for $20 postal charge + my warranty or pay only $60 for a 12'' woofer to be installed on spot. He threw in a 1000 watt amp for me and sent me out the door for $60. Quick service, nice people, and recommended audio equipment! read more

He did an amazing job that was even better than what the instructions provided and he had everything done in about two hours, which worked out really well. He even drilled the hole in the center console to run the cable which isn't in the instructions, but is absolutely better and should be part of the standard installation. He also ran the USB input on the side rather than in the front and has it in the mesh holder on the passenger side, which is also better than what the instructions have. I would absolutely recommend him and his company for any car service and will soon install another one in a second car with him.

And for the $600 I would expect the job to be professional, but he used T-taps and cheap crimp connectors, not even butt connectors as most decent car audio shops would. He installed the system wrong and I had to back to have it fixed. He then tried charging me more money to fix his poor job. I would steer clear from this shop, or if you have him touch your car please take photos of his work in case your car has an electrical fire, you can hopefully sue the shop.

5-stars! I saw a youtube video of another customer who installed a ZZ-2 upgrade in a Porsche PCM…read more3.1 system (roughly 2010-2016 Porsche models) done by Martin (Car Audio MX). I got Martin to install the same ZZ-2 module in my 2014 Porsche 911S while also adding rear and front cameras. The ZZ-2 is great since it is installed inside the existing PCM 3.1 and not an add on external device. The nice thing about the ZZ-2 solution is that the original PCM 3.1 functions continue to work in addition to having Carplay. Martin did a very clean install and I am very happy. When I put my car in reverse, the backup camera engages with guides based on steering. In addition there are visuals of my parking sensors which are really high quality. When I put the car in Drive, the front camera comes on for about 10 seconds showing me clearance in front of my car. Very nice since the bumpers are very low. All-in-all very happy and with Carplay I can now use my Porsche as a daily driver!
