This place is terrible!! I wanted Sirius XM installed and they screwed everything. Now all of a sudden my Bluetooth doesn't work. Sirius does even come on my dash. He say it may be my truck( Land Rover) I doubt it. Now I have to go somewhere else to get this fixed, which means MORE Money! I took my truck back twice . Called several times with no return call. So here is my experience so far... I would give them 0 stars but thats not an option. 3 sets of subs and 7 visits later here is what happened: I bought 2 TW1 JL subs for my Ram and all the recommended equipment. I made sure to follow what JL recommends perfectly. A couple months later, I start noticing a weird smell, I am told that they are just new sub smell, then a couple months later they blow out.. I was then told that they will warranty the subs, send them in, but I suspected bad wiring and asked them to check this for me. Anyways, JL honors the warranty and I am told that the TW3s is what AudioWerk's recommends by JL and I could just pay the difference from the TW1s. From the time the subs were pulled to the time the new TW3s came in was about 9 weeks. I made sure to ask things like "will these fit in my current box?", "will these fit under my seat?", etc all before we even decided to go with the TW3s... They say yes. The new subs come in and they are too deep for my box. So they were wrong there. They have to order me a new box and they keep my old box (I am pretty sure my old box was more expensive than their new box but whatever). New box gets installed and its pressing up against the underside of my rear seats. I instantly question this and ask them if that is enough clearance and everything.. A couple months later we go into lockdown. I rarely drive now and mainly work from home. Even when I do leave the house, its not always in the truck so not much miles at all with the new system. One day I noticed they were sounding kind of weird. I pop the back seat up and the subs are literally melting onto the bottom of my seats from the vibration and friction plus it pressing up against it. I call them and make an appointment because they need to fix that. They pop out my old subs and it takes 13 weeks for them to get in new subs for me. My rear seat is permanently damaged. To make matters worse, I paid out of pocket to buy spacers to raise my rear seat up so they can get it to fit correctly, and it still doesnt fit correctly. Even when I came in to get the new subs installed, they at first were acting like I would pay for the labor to install these spacers, but I told him no and luckily he listened or else it wouldve been a lot worse than a bad review.. Before the box was too tall, now the box is too wide and rests on the spacers. Its no longer hitting the bottom of my seat, but its floating rather than seated cleanly. But my biggest problem with this place is that this was just fixed in February and I am already hearing weird things with these subs. I swear it is a wiring issue. I just dont want to go back here though. If it blows out again, Im just going to take it to a new place and send them the bill for everything plus new rear seats. This is ridiculous. Do not waste your money here. Its a scam. read more

Zero stars for this place . I had gotten the viper car start alarm installed from here spent $890 total for installation and over priced prices . Well 1 month passed by and my car is having electrical issues with the ignition. My alarm won't even lock the door anymore or unlock .I go to the shop to get it trouble shoot charges me $70 for it . The next day the car alarm is unresponsive. I'm fed up with their service had to remove all the crappy wiring done in my car my mechanic even called it a safety hazard . I'm calling it a loss then to go back here to get it "fixed " again . I had an alarm installed on my truck only the front two doors worked when I picked it up ,went back the second day All four doors worked but my back up camera stop working . They claim that it was a coincidence that my back up camera stop working and said they can sell me one and install it for $250 . After a week of using the alarm my four-doors stop locking as I armed it I took it back and they apparently fixed it again. So far so good after two days.I truly believe that because of their inexperienced installer my camera is not working. I expressed to them that I'm taking my truck to the dealer and if they find that it was due to their installation that my camera does not work I am going to sue them it's not ending here . beware people read more

So the first install was fine, but the 2nd one was a complete bust. Ken was late to open the shop, arrived in his fancy Maserati and strolled through the opening process as if he was a gift from god and we should feel honored that he opened at all. When I went over the install with him again (I set up the appointment with Sean, who was much nicer and more knowledgeable), his eyes were glued to his cell phone as if he were a teenager, barely paying attention. When I suggested that he watch the YouTube instruction video for the install he briskly told me that his installers like to do it their own way. Not filled with confidence I even returned to the shop with a print out how the switches on the box needed to be set. Same experience - eyes on the phone, almost offended when I asked him to tell the installer which way the switch needs to be set. When I picked up the car it became obvious that not everything was working correctly. I was rather upset, but I figured that with YouTube video in hand I can do it myself. I took the glove box off and found a mess of cables with the converter box loosely dangling behind. Not a single zip tie! The masterful installer didn't even bother to secure the wires and box a bit! See the image that I am uploading. Then there's the billing. When I placed the reservation with Sean, I was quoted 2 hours. When I was met by Ken (Mr. God's gift to mankind) I was told 3 hours, and was billed for it. I was able to redo pretty much the entire install in less than one hour, and do it properly. So not only do they have questionable install quality, they have really shady business practices as well (and/or incompetent installers, which goes hand in hand). read more

A little back story; I've been going to Audiowerk since 2007. Took my first car to have a subs installed, no issues since then. Also took another car to have an alarm installed a year or two later. I did run into a few minor issues with the install of the alarm but nothing major. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago when I had them install an audio system (double din) with a flush mount back up a camera. I purchased the audio system on my own and called to find out if they would be able to install it and how much they would charge. I believe I spoke to Kevin that first day. He quoted me $150 over the phone. I brought my vehicle in the same day and noticed they were quite busy and thought they might not have time for my install on that day. Kevin was there and I reminded him of my call earlier. I showed him the system I had and he reassured me they would be able to install all of it. Kevin seemed rushed and like he had way too many things to do at once and it didn't seem like i could have his attention for more than a few seconds. After looking at my system and vehicle he told me that the $150 was only for labor and that there were extra parts they would need to complete the install. That brought the total to $217. I knew that the parts he showed me on the computer along with the prices were the retail prices and I could likely source the parts myself at much lower cost. I went ahead and paid the balance before the work was completed (I know, big mistake). In hindsight I should've asked more questions and made sure I went over exactly everything before leaving my vehicle that day but my excitement and trust got the best of me. A few hours later I receive a call that my vehicle is ready for pick up, they were quite accurate on the estimated time it would take to complete. When I got there Kevin showed me how to work my new system and helped me set it up, I appreciated the time he took to do this. I right away noticed that the back up camera had been installed with a a mounting bracket beneath the rear bumper and not flush mounted. The kit I brought them only had the camera with the flush mount hardware so they must've used their own camera/hardware for the install. I was a bit bothered by the look of the camera peeking under the bumper but I decided to let it be and not let it bother me. A couple days go by and I can't let it go, every time I go look at my vehicle I can see the camera hanging there. I went back a few days later and spoke with Sean and explained the situation. He explained that they don't install cameras flush mounted because it is more work and if it something the customer wants that we need to let them know so they can charge accordingly. I asked if they had the flush mount kit so I could just install it myself. They didn't have my original kit or one to give me so Sean offered to order a new one but I'd have to leave the one I had on my vehicle and when the one came in they'd give it to me (not install it). I suggested I could order it myself and he could reimburse me and I would also give them back their camera/hardware, he agreed. I ended up buying a new camera kit and installed it myself. Decided to eat the cost and not go back for a reimbursement/exchange. I hadn't planned on leaving them such a poor rating because I can see where I might have been partially at fault for not asking more questions. So the reason for my rating and LONG feedback is due to the discovery of their sloppy work. While having the wheels on my vehicle removed this weekend it was brought to my attention that there was a loose cable hanging going to the rear of the vehicle. This cable is the one that goes to the back up camera. It was not secured properly and it was rubbing against the rear tire so much that the wire had become stripped. I feel that if I paid them to do a job they should've done it correctly without cutting corners. I hate paying for a service and feeling like it wasn't done properly because if I wanted to risk something going wrong I would've done the job myself and EVEN THEN I would've been careful enough to zip tie a wire to prevent future issues/damages. I hope that the person reading this review will learn from my mistakes and ask all the questions they have and check the work after it is completed. read more

The quality of their job is terrible, from the outside looks good but when you move seats or carpets you'll see that the wiring is poorly secure with cheap tape and pieces of velcro, a week later came back and they were expecting the right tape and didn't do anything, came back 3 more times same deal, i finally gave up, i deserved it, it was conveniently close to my house. Went to a different shop (this time i did my research) they laughed of the way all my sound system was installed by Audiowerk, just do your homework and avoid this shop!!! read more

My bf was planning on buying a stereo from Fry's, we were just here for some cables and an antenna adapter. But the guy offered to match Fry's clearance price for a better stereo so my bf decided to get everything here instead. There was one person ahead of us so we left to run some errands and came back a couple hours later. When we got back the guy told us he had upgraded the speakers at no extra cost cause the ones he had originally quoted were out of stock. My bf paid about $400 in the end; for a touch screen stereo, 4 speakers, and labor. We got the car back after a few minutes and he took the time to show my bf how everything works. Fucc this place. I got ripped off for da last time. 1) One brother sells me a stereo and has me go in the next day to get it installed by the other brother. When I go the other brother installs another cheaper stereo. Anyways I look up how much the stereo is worth and it's only worth $300 and he sold it to me for $600. I hit them up about it and they try to make it good by installing some cheap speakers in my car. So I let that go 2) I get some lights installed on my 2nd car wich came out nice but at the same time I paid $45 to install a noise filter on my system as I was hearing engine noise in my speakers. So I go to picc up my car and he shows me the lights and then we jump in the car and he turns car on and turns on my radio and yes, no engine noise. So I leave. On my way home I'm listening to my system and my highs mids sound really low. I didn't think too much about it. So the weekend comes and I'm cruising and hear one of my favorite songs. I turn up my radio and again my system sounds low. So I go home and I take a look at my amplifier running my mids and highs and it was turned all the way down. So I put it bacc to what I had it set at before taking it to this shop and WOW the engine noise is bacc. So I checc my whole system out. They did not install the $45 filter that I paid for. Instead the fat white guy with long hair (installer) just turned my amp down to where you couldn't hear the engine noise anymore. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE read more

I promise you that you will be very disappointed. He over charges for everything and the work is complete garbage! Wires running loose everywhere, carpets being cut not clean. Worst of all I came back since there was a short in the wire, the workers there accused me of cutting it my self and out of anger the workers broke my sub box. As you know to do these jobs the spark plug wires have to be removed. Come to see later that they were not put back carefully which caused the wires to fry up and cause problems in all of my vehicle. Sean is a decent guy but he needs to understand his product first before selling a customer a product that isn't as he described. I purchased a back up camera for my Mercades I specifically asked him if it would look like the stock camera and he confidently said YES. Then I also asked if he installed the blind spot detectors and he stated yes. When I picked up my car I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the camera. It wasn't stock one bit. The quality of the camera was horrible and definitely didn't belong on a 2017 Mercades. The blind spot detectors were also after market and installed inside of the vehicle. He stated that he installs these for the Mercades dealership all of the time. I'm sure they wouldn't sell new Mercades with a crappy camera. This place sucks, flat out. You could say that I'm a 'typical angry customer' but no matter how many times this guy had screwed me in the past, I keep giving him 2nd/3rd chances. All in all, I agree with the people that give him 1 star. Sean the salesman is pushy, greedy and is only out to make a buck. This guy told me that my high-end speakers were blown but he'd glady, and quickly, replace/install 2 new sets. Pfft! I took my car somewhere else to have it looked at and all they needed to do was VERY MINOR rewiring and they got my system back to sounding awesome, like it WAS, WITHOUT having to replace ANYTHING. Time and time again its the same story with him. Standing out in the parking lot, like I have for YEARS, its funny to see people come back and ask him to re-look at things in their car because they were installed wrong or having some sort of problems with them. There's also a reason why there's never the same installers that work there--he hires shady, unknowledgable people that dont ever stick around for whatever reason. Friendly and fast, price is fair. The mid-range car stereo I got from them (KDC-MP342U) was good, but much more expensive than the best online price. Despite that, I think the total price was fair because they gave me great deals on the wiring harness, dash adapter kit (which they had in stock), and the installation service. The same day, I detected engine interference noise. They diagnosed the problem, and normally the particular fix for this case would not be included in the installation charge, but they fixed it for free anyway. Not sure where I stand on this had a backup camera install on my range rover sport . I was dealing with Sean when I made the order a week later they got the part it did cost a few hundreds more than originally we agreed but that was ok with me. my problem is i and Sean talked about where the camera going to be and factory look. when I came to pick the truck it was mounted on by using license plate screws frame. ..really ... Sean was gone and the young man keeps telling me that's how they do it and they are going to close in five minutes so I paid and called it a day. read more

I've been needing stereo help for a long time but fear has kept me from doing anything about it. After reading the reviews about Audiowerk I felt pretty safe to go in. Sure enough and according to the Yelps- they took good care of me. How? They were open and honest and communicated well what needed to be done. They were patient and explained everything. Chuck, the installer, introduced himself to me- which I appreciated. I felt so good about them fixing a speaker and checking out the problem with my satellite radio that I decided to let them install a much needed alarm system!! The price installed - $199! I bought a Clifford Alarm for my Suburban and a few months later I had trouble with it. I wasn't in town so I had my father take the truck in to have it checked out. It was still within the 1 yr warranty but they charged my father $40 bucks to reset something that took 5 minutes to fix. When I found out he charged for the inspection I was pissed! I am now having trouble with my alarm AGAIN and I can't imagine going back to this place to have them look at it.
