Had an installation for a new stereo I bought done by them. Failed to inform me prior to picking my vehicle up that this type of radio does not "connect to the steering wheel buttons" is what he said. On the information packet I received for this particular stereo system, it did prompt that it would. He also failed to contact me when the job was finished, I had to call him 2 & 1/2 hours later after the time he said it would be done to ask when it was finished. He said "it's been done" I'm guessing he's the owner, because it's only him and his mother that works in the shop. Well he also left my car A MESS. There was sticky residue on my carpet, he just basically threw my old stereo and all the cords he ripped out onto my carpet, could've put them in a bag, or a box or anything really. lmao. The pricing was okay I suppose is the only reason why I'm giving it 2 stars. I guess you get what you pay for though, cheap work. read more

The owner/installer has very reasonable prices and I was surprised by how good a result I received based on the low price. So I took in 4 HID Lights which I had previously destroyed while attempting a self install. The only thing I gave him to work with were 4 Lights, all with cut wires coming out of them. No harness, no relay, nothing. He made it all work, HID all wires nicely, and charged me $250. The other places all wanted $780. The next day he installed my headlights nicely. I can't find anything wrong with anything he did. Perfect. And it's a small mom and pops type place, so here was literally no waiting. All the bigger places are "backed up." They did some research on their data base and said they could help me out, had a selection of stereos and I went with a pioneer name brand, gave me price on stereo and install I said let's do it, they took longer than they had mentioned and charged me an extra $50 to bypass the factory subwoofer but I myself own a business and know estimates are just estimates. I was also in a hurry to go hook up with a girl but that's another story, nonetheless these guys were quick knowledgeable and fair with the work they did. A car alarm I had for a little over one year, installed by another company, was completely malfunctioning - the alarm would go off randomly and I could not deactivate it with the key fob. Furthermore, it got to the point where I could no longer unlock my car and go to work because I could not disengage the alarm and its kills switch. The previous installation company was of no help. When I asked for help they said their install tech was out of the store at 1030am (half hour after opening) and at 200pm the same day - maybe it was bad luck but either way it was a dissatisfying experience for me. I looked for another company with good reviews in my area on Yelp and JJ Car Audio & Security was on the list. I gave them a call and Juan answered. Juan was very friendly and courteous. He instructed me on how to deactivate my car alarm without the key fob so that I could bring it in to his store to get more help. Juan evaluated my alarm and advised me that whoever installed my current alarm had just removed the brain from the older alarm and plugged in a new one, using all the old wiring from a different brand of car alarm that was in the car when I bought it years ago. Furthermore, he said a lot of the wiring was wrong. Juan was actually able to repair the alarm for me, but advised that he was unsure how long it would last because the brain of the alarm did not match the antenna portion and other components. I was worried I would get locked out of my car at work or away from my leaving me stuck and out of luck. He gave me a good deal on a new alarm and install - Better than the previous place I went to actually. I saw that he replaced all my alarm components including the wiring. He event took to the time to do some cable management on car alarm antenna wire, dash cam wire and Bluetooth microphone because the other guy just stuffed them in my headliner resulting in them falling out in front of my face while driving. Juan is a great installer and a nice guy. I highly recommend JJ Car Audio and Security. Definitely a trustworthy business man! read more

Schedule an appointment, arrived and the business was closed. Called the number on the door to confirm, then someone arrived. Upon my arrive told the service would take 2 hr and I would be called if any additional parts were need. After 3 hours I was told their was an issue with the replacement stereo I purchase and need a replacement or ship it back for a new one. Plus I was charged $10 more than what we agreed. Very good customer service and work. I only needed to get my Amp tuned since I tried to do it myself and messed up my sound settings on the amp. I had a 4-channel amp to power my subs and he recommended that I eventually switch to a 1-channel amp to get the best out of my JL W6 sub. He definitely got my sound settings back and it sounds great so far with the 4-channel amp. Will eventually buy a 1-channel amp to get the best sound. This guy will definitely get mire service from me in the future and I'm recommending this guy to my friends/family. read more

Good place to install car stereo and alarm system reasonable prices too owner really nice

This place is awful, dishonest, and amateurish. My dad had brought a car in previously to have an alarm installed. That thing never worked properly. Fast forward to today, I stupidly came here and brought my sub to be installed in a 2012 Sentra. Its was a small bazooka sub I had hooked up previously in another car. I know, powered tube amps arent the greatest thing in the world, but in a small car they hit pretty hard and tight. I bring in my sub, and some bazooka FAST harnesses. The owner tells me one of my harnesses is the wrong one, but that its okay because he can still make it work. Fast forward to two hours later. We pick up the car, pay for it, 80 bucks. My dad asks if it sounds alright, he says "eh its kind of a small sub so it just adds a little." Then I go test it.. First thing I realize is that he turned the bass level all the way up on my head unit.. What, the, hell. Sketch. Then I put on the tunes, open the trunk, check the sub. Its basically outputting nothing. I ask him to come over and show him. And he basically shrugs saying that its a small sub.. The output was so low that 5 dollar Walmart speaker would be more audible. Basically it didn't work. He must have jerryriged the sub to another one of my 6x9s. Its a powered amp, but he provably didn't give it any power either. At the end of the day, I spent 100 bucks, and ended up with a sub that didn't do jack, and add to that he spliced up my extension cables for no good reason. Absolute trash. The fact that he tried to turn up my head units bass levels was also very deceitful and dishonest. There are good reviews on this page for the most part, but if you want to have anything installed other than something you could probably do at home, I would take your audio needs elsewhere. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Going to keep this as short as possible. Went here about a month ago. Got a JVC radio with an AUX for my older car. worked fine for a bit but all of a sudden it stopped working. It said on the radio to check the wiring. Brought it back today and they took out the radio and it was all damaged and they said I must have split coffee on it. I DONT DRINK COFFEE AT ALL! They literally just blamed me for it. I tried to get a new one with the warranty and they said i have to pay $50 or take the radio as is. Horrible costumer service. CHECK THE RADIO BEFORE THEY PUT IT IN THAT WAS MY MISTAKE! I KNOW FOR A FACT I DID NOT SPILL ANYTHING ON THAT RADIO. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

Called them at 5PM on a Friday and really needed some amps and speakers installed that night, they close at 7PM but he stayed until 8 and finished my car. I had a ton of stuff installed for a good price, he also had me listen to it before he closed everything back up, just to make sure I liked it. I just hung out in the area and checked on my car a couple times to make sure he wasn't screwing it up, and he did a really good job. Sounds very clean, no rattles or buzzing.
