$6.24 for two sausage patties, potatoes and grits
    Joua N.

This is a cafeteria style restaurant. The food is okay, not something I'd drive back for. But service was good and the staff are friendly. I didn't get a receipt, but later checked online for the transaction. It was $6.24 for two sausage patties, a side of potatoes and side of grits (no drink). Not too bad.

Biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, bacons, and tater tots with orange cranberry muffin. Yum.

Good food. Local people. Big portions are served up. If you leave hungry it's your own fault.

They overcharged me several times. Quality of food is poor to nasty at best. You will end up overpaying for nasty food.

I love the sausage egg and cheese biscuit! Truly the only reason I go. I don't recommend their hash-browns and I'm a huge potato fan :/

The biscuits and gravy were good...not the best...but good! My husband got the pancakes and said they were a little cold but, if they had been hot, they would have been excellent! Oh! And the bacon was the best...cooked perfectly crispy and tasty!

We had lunch at Dottie's yesterday and immediately fell in love with the sisters behind the bar…read more They were super friendly, fun, and truly made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, that's really the highlight of our visit. We were starving, so we all ordered hearty plates. My daughter ordered chicken strips with okra and corn. I had the same but swapped for mac & cheese and green beans. My husband ordered the roast beef with green beans and mac & cheese. All meals came with a cat head biscuit. The food looked great, but there was zero seasoning in anything. I honestly don't know how you mess up green beans, but somehow it happened. I barely made it through two bites of the chicken just to get something in my stomach. Then I tried the mac & cheese... OMG. I can't even describe the taste--I discreetly spit it into my napkin. Thankfully my daughter shared her okra, which was the only decent thing on my plate. Her "corn" turned out to be creamed corn, which she doesn't like. She thought she ordered regular kernel corn, so she was disappointed. She used enough ketchup to get down two chicken strips. My husband's roast beef was... interesting. It was more like a shredded roast-and-rice casserole. Not sure if that's even a thing, but that's what it resembled. He said it tasted good and ate it all, but even he couldn't touch the mac & cheese. He poured almost an entire salt shaker on his green beans just to make them edible. In the end, the best thing on the table was the cat head biscuit. Again, the staff was absolutely wonderful--truly the saving grace of this place. But as friendly as they are, the food alone isn't enough to bring us back.

Crossroads Bar & Grille in Flowery Branch just nailed two lunch classics better than most places…read moreI've tried--the Cuban and the Reuben are absolute winners. Stopped in at 5900 Spout Springs Rd for a casual lunch and left seriously impressed. These sandwiches aren't just thrown together; they're loaded and executed perfectly. The Cuban (marinated pork loin, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and pickles on a toasted hoagie roll) was a flavor bomb. Look at that cross-section--juicy, tender pork layered thick with ham, melty cheese, and that perfect pickle crunch cutting through the mustard kick. The bread toasted up golden and held everything together without getting soggy. Paired it with fries and a side of ketchup, and it felt like something straight out of a great Cuban spot. Huge portions that actually satisfy. The Classic Reuben on toasted marbled rye was equally stacked: thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and 1000 Island dressing. The bread had that ideal crisp exterior with a soft bite, and the fillings were generous and well-balanced--no dry bites here. Came with crispy fries and a side of creamy sauce that tied it all together beautifully. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is that perfect relaxed neighborhood vibe (great for watching a game or just catching up), and the prices are fair for the quality and size you get. In a world full of average bar sandwiches, Crossroads delivers the real deal with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Whether you're craving the tangy, savory Reuben or the bright, porky Cuban, both hit the spot hard. I'll definitely be back. If you're in Flowery Branch, do not sleep on these sandwiches. Highly recommend--5 stars.
