What a charming cafe. It is hidden behind a convenience store. You won't see it from the street. I order the Mr. simple platter. The waffle was enormous. I tried to eat at least half of it and did not succeed. The latte was delicious as well. The server was friendly and attentive. read more

This is as my first visit here and it was very nice. My college kiddo has been here a few times and thought it would be a great place to meet for a quick bite since I was in town. Limited menu, but they are in the process of updating it (according to posted signs). Bet small but we were able to grab a seat and have some nice light bites. The latte was perfect and the Fresca my kiddo had was delicious. So if you need a quiet corner to chill in and get some great brunch food (for now) stop in. read more

This little spot turned out to be awesome! I went with a small group of 4 and we wanted some breakfast/ brunch. If you're looking for a cute spot, you should check it out! There is a Mexican twist to it. Great for small or large groups. They make food fresh so be patient cause it worth it! We ordered a burrito, chilaquiles plate, huevos a la Mexicana breakfast plate, huevos con chorizo breakfast plate, 2 Mazapan lattes, and 2 chocolate abuelitas. Everything was good! I actually ordered the tres leches latte but I didn't like the taste of it and let the server know. They were so nice about it and made the mazapan latte per request instead. Service was great! If I'm in town, I'd definitely be back to this quaint spot. Go check it out! Till then, let's eat! read more

What a hidden gem! Such a quaint restaurant. Food was fresh made to order and delicious. Service was muy magnifico. Muchas gracias to the chefs who prepared our food. read more

Very nice little hole in the wall cafe with great tasting food and a friendly server. My only to suggestions would be to not use plastic utensils from a to go type package and spruce up the dining area a bit. Both of these minor inconveniences can be overlooked by the tasty food and very friendly staff. I will definitely be back! Try the tres leches latte, it's amazing. read more

Kairos Cafe - The waffle and eggs breakfast was great. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Gainesville, Georgia

Food was good sized, $13 for breakfast burrito seems a bit pricey. Latte was good. Inside needs some updating, server was nice. Salsa was just chopped tomatoes and jalepenos unseasoned. read more

Highly recommend the chilaquiles de pollo. It's a fairly hefty plate, but if you're looking for a hearty brunch item, these are perfect. Cozy little spot, kind of hidden, but still super cute. The waitress was so sweet and you can tell they make their food with love. Oh btw their coffee is amazing! I got a latte when I went read more

Small restaurant with great service and food. The server was excellent. Next time we're back in the area, we definitely will go back.

This cafe is tucked away in a small shopping center but offers big flavors with their meals! The steak fajita omelette was amazing and banging with flavor. The bacon was cooked perfect (crispy). Will definitely be eating here again. read more

We weren't sure what to expect when we first walked in, but stick it out & you'll be happy you did. The dining area isn't quite as cute as the pictures, but the food is exactly as good as the pictures. Of course I forgot to take any. The tres leches latte hit the spot & was the perfect cooling counter to the chilaquiles with red sauce & carnitas. That sauce - perfectly spicy, so flavorful I wanted to lick the plate. It's a huge serving, so come hungry or save some for later like I did. The omelettes were equally as delicious & meant for big appetites. This place is a hidden gem & I can't wait to go back for more. read more

This is our second visit to Kairos Cafe and we enjoyed both. The food is fresh, cooked to order and flavorful. The cinnamon french toast with berries is exceptional! Superior latte and chicken fajita omelette. The huevos rancheros my husband had on our earlier visit was good too. Overall highly recommend this as a great place for brunch. read more

I had never heard of this place, and now I am sad I didn't know sooner. This is a cafe with a Mexican twist, very fitting for the area. They also have a very extensive menu including sandwiches, croissants, bagels, omelets, chilaquiles!!, waffles, frappe's, pancakes, you name it! I ordered the : Marzipan frappe- This is mixed with marzipan and peanut butter and coffee, frozen. It is so tasty. Great texture and flavor. Breakfast sandwich- I got turkey instead of ham, with tomato/lettuce/Mayo. This sandwich also has a layer of refried beans. It is a huge sandwich and fantastic for the price. Obsessed. ¡Ay chihuahua! - Breakfast burrito filled with eggs and chorizo, side potatoes, and waffle. All for 10.99????? Amazing deal. The young man that took my order at the front was also extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. I would come back just for this young man's service. I will be back, and everyone please give some business to this cute spot tucked off of atlanta Highway read more

My find of the weekend is in my own town of Gainesville with @kairoscafega !! The flavors.... the menu.... the team running this place.... it all gets a 10 out of 10 in my book! The only downside is that it is located in a tight spot so parking may be tough and the wait is sometimes pretty long because unless you get there early before the rush, you'll find yourself in a long wait time. I did notice a lot of foot traffic coming in and out with TO GO orders so you do have that option!! You'll find the mom in the back making amazing food and the son running the shop up front with all the orders and serving their guests, they are great and make you feel very welcomed. Pictured here: BARBACOA CROISSANT - I don't say this lightly... this is probably the best tasting croissant I've had to date. The barbacoa was seasoned to perfection and the croissant didn't fall apart CHILAQUILES WITH CARNITAS - Chilaquiles is a Mexican breakfast dish that has tortilla chips as its base along with rice, beans and whatever protein you choose. In this case, carnitas!! And let me tell ya, these carnitas were so tender and perfectly cooked. This was definitely a favorite along with their salsa verde because their tortillas were excellent BREAKFAST SANDWICH - Just know this isn't your typical breakfast sandwich. Sunny side up eggs, ham, avocado, cheese, refried beans with a perfect baguette like bread... toasted and very hearty WAFFLES & POTATOES - I had to order a waffle and potatoes to see if they were solid... Yes, the answer is YES CHOCOLATE ABUELITA (HOT CHOCOLATE) & COLD CHAI TEA - Both get a thumbs up but if I had to order again, I'd order both again #rolieats #goodeats #goodfood #weekendfind #gainesville #kairoscafe #breakfast #croassant #barbacoa #chilaquiles #carnitas #breakfastsandwich #waffles #potatoes #hotchocolate #chaitea #illbeback #keepitlocal #supportlocalbusiness read more

Yum! If you're looking for breakfast and a delicious coffee in the Gainesville area, head to Kairos! Fast and friendly service and made to order breakfast and coffee. Yelp wasn't lying! Never heard of this place, nor would I have ever found it without Yelp. But 100% worth the adventure. I'm pretty sure there was just two people running this tiny cafe; one waitress, one cook. But perfection! Truly, kind and personable service. And the French toast was light, not heavy. Yummy, not overly sweet. Grateful we found you! read more

Very authentic Mexican food. Prices very reasonable. Very friendly service. Nice little place. read more

My review consists of three aspects of the experience: service, food, and ambience. Service was great; we had a very kind and attentive server. The ambience was alright, but it was very cold. Lastly, the food. Keep in mind, I'm not a very harsh critic, but after spending $42 on an omelet, chilaquiles, and two lattes, I left the place a little upset. Both the omelet and chilaquiles were ordered with steak, but the steak tasted very dry and had no flavor, as if it had been made a day before and reheated. The rice that came with it was VERY hard and crunchy, as well as cold. Again, this isn't meant to be mean or to negatively bash the business. Maybe it was just what we got. However, considering that what we ordered cost $42 and the food was cold on top of that, I didn't leave as a happy customer. I want to emphasize again, my intentions aren't to bash the restaurant but rather to hope that they may see this and raise the standard to justify spending $42 on a subpar experience. read more

Food was sub par. Had the waffles and thy were small the French toast was two thin slices. The carnita bagel was not much flavor. I finished my bagel before others at my table got their meals and I got my meal before my drink. Just crazy not worth it won't return. read more

We had the Dame Forte - eggs bacon and french toast with banana and mixed berries, was amazing! Also the carnitas were flavorful and the sliced potato side was super flavorful. Wide variety of large serving coffees we had chai latte with espresso and iced caramel frappe, everything was delish! Great food and great service. Visited on a Sunday morning, table of five, and they were super accommodating. I suspect that we beat the church crowd because it started getting busy by the time we left around 11:30 am. Chilaquiles rojos were delish. Their aguas were super too. French toast was nice and crispy. Everything is made to order, so please be patient. I'd like to return to try some of their hot drinks. Reasonably priced too! What else can I say? It was a great experience. read more

Such a great little spot for breakfast! The French toast was delicious, as was the spinach and mushroom omelet! Good coffee and friendly, fast service. One kinda strange thing was that the rice my omelet came with had elbow and penne pasta noodles In it lol. But we look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu! read more

Best value in breakfast I have had in a long time! I tried the egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and French toast with bananas and strawberries. Both were outstanding and the total bill was less than $10. I only wish that they had more options for bagels (other than simply plain or sesame). read more

Off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Server was gracious and food was excellent. Four firemen were finishing their breakfast when we arrived so locals know if this gem. We had a waffle and French toast with sides of bacon. All made to order and delicious. Another reviewer made a point about small portions - these are normal portions and at these prices, plenty for normal eaters. With a coffee and iced coffee, we came out for less than $20. Highly recommended. read more

Such yummy and inexpensive food and staff is amazing, would definitely recommend to anyone who lives in the area

This is a charming and unassuming neighborhood restaurant. We came in on father's day for breakfast. As met by a very friendly young man who took our order and served us. The french toast was great- service excellent- and coffee drinks (macchiato and frapacinno) was perfect. Great new place for us. read more

The food is great! A little pricey but, the quality is there. The presentation of the food shows that they care about what they're doing.

The staff were very friendly, service was good, and breakfast burritos, French toast and and lattes were excellent.

Great food! Friendly service and the owner would check on us regularly to make sure everything was good.

Reasons for 3 stars.... We just ate here yesterday.. came in and sat down with menus .. took awhile for the server to take our order (not a big problem) and then waited another what seemed like a very long time just to get our coffee and tea. Normally, you get served drinks soon after you put your order in. But, that wasn't the case.. I think the server was maybe helping to cook as well as getting peoples orders and ringing up customers.. However, we were the only ones in there and one more couple came in after us. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich (I forget which one) and I ordered scrambled eggs, sausage , and French toast. The breakfast sandwich was HUGE! Also, filled with some sauce and tomatoes and lettuce and 3 fried eggs. It was so messy and so large, my husband had trouble eating it. Seriously, the roll was the size of a Stromboli and could've been split b/t 2 people and shouldn't have been so messy it made it hard to eat. My eggs were over cooked and packaged shredded cheese was merely sprinkled on top with some scrambled in the eggs. The French toast was very good. read more

AWFUL!!!!!!! Yeah they were nice but why did it take over an hour to slap an inlet on a grill? They're was literally no reason I should s been waiting that long other than the fact the cooks in the back aren't doing their job. I was almost the only person in there. Tried to call and complain and what do they do? Turn off their phone so it now goes straight to voicemail.... Absolute shit. read more
