Triple Threat Sandwich with side of Smoked Beans!
    Steve C.

When you walk in they have a large chalk menu board. Be aware that these prices are a little bit lower than what you are being charged as they haven't updated it. You order at the bar and they give you a buzzer when the food is ready for you to come back to the bar to pick it up. I had the triple threat sandwich and it was quite good. Chose a side of baked beans and they were awesome. Their house made barbecue sauces were the weak spot for me. They have one tomato based sauce and it's sweet and IMO not very good as it has an overwhelming flavor of cinnamon. They have two vinegar based sauces, one is sweet and the other spicy and I didn't like these either. And they also have a Carolina mustard sauce which I didn't try. Places fairly small and they play rock 'n' roll over the speakers. Food was great, just wish they had good barbecue sauce.

First time here. They do brunch on Sundays but they do offer the bbq sandwich. I got the brisket sandwich with beans. The sandwich had a drizzle of a spicy green sauce on top ( if you don't like spicy make sure to leave that off) the brisket was tender and chopped. The beans have meat in them like a stew style. They offer a few different bbq sauces I choose the sweet. We also got the inked pig breakfast. The sausage patty was huge as well as the biscuit! You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer when it's time to grab your food at the counter. There are high stool seating and regular tables with metal chairs.

2-meat combo plate with slaw and stew.

I came here as a back up to my favorite BBQ and by the way the best BBQ in the area, Smokehouse BBQ which unfortunately after 40 years has closed. I found this spot on YELP of course . The location is unassuming and is truly a BBQ joint. The menu is in the chalkboard when you come in and you order at the bar . There is ample dining in the dining room with both high and low tables. The restaurant was clean and was not very busy on a Saturday at 4. There is plenty of easy parking either on the street or the adjacent lot. I ordered the 2-meat combo , chicken and pork with my 2- sides of slaw and stew. This is my go to Order when first trying a BBQ restaurant. The slaw was house made and was a rough long cut style. The dressing was a vinegar based slaw with very little mayo. Not enough mayo for my taste and sort of bland. The stew was heavy with meat and a little corn . In that way it is true Brunswick stew and not vegetable soup. It had what to me seemed to be a predominance of chili pepper and barbecue sauce for flavoring. Again decent but not the best I've had and I wouldn't order it again if I came back. The pork was moist and the portion was normal but it was overly salted. Very heavy salt presence when I tasted it . I tried to temper the brine by adding the spicy bbq sauce which is a vinegar influenced concoction which was a little runny and lacked a lot of flavor other than vinegar. The meat had a mild smoked flavor and would have stood alone without the sauce sans the salt. The chicken portion was a smallish thigh and the wing drumette and not a regular leg like most places. The flavor was fine but again nothing to excite me to order it again. All in all this is serviceable barbecue but not noteworthy as some. I may give them a second chance if I am just in the area but I wouldn't drive from Gwinnett with this as my BBQ destination as would others.

The food was great. I did forget I was in the land of vinegar based sauce and forgot to ask the base. The meat was tender and flavorful. The places smells like hog heaven.

Amazing food! Best I have ever had!!!! Baked beans were to die for and the Mac and cheese lick clean!!!

Omg the food was amazing. Mac and cheese was very good! The baked potato was something I have never had like this! It was one of a kind and I can not wait to go back and have the SAME meal once more!!! Baked beans has so much flavor. This was enough for two ppl. I wanted so much more to try but this was so perfect I must say

I loved the inked pig food truck. This is my second time getting food from their truck, the staff is always very friendly and food is 5 star quality meat and flavor!

Great sandwich but for these prices is it too much to ask for table service vs counter order and pickup service. $22 for sandwich, stew, tea, CC surcharge and $1 tip because I am growing weary of tipping for anything other than table service.

I recently tried again and was very disappointed. Quality and flavor are not the same very bland as well as BBQ sauce was thin like water. May have changed management not sure Not worth $47 lunch with water to drink for trying again. So sorry it was a great Dive!

Went to the Inked Pig Sunday after attending church. They had a special menu due to the fact that it was Valentine's Day. I was a bit disappointed that they weren't offering Slaw as a Sid option, but did have an amazing brisket sandwich with Chimi Churi sauce that was excellent, it was pretty small for the $32 we paid for that and a pulled pork sandwich with beans and a coke

Let's start with the appetizers. The hush puppies are a must. They come with a hot honey glaze on top, and that combo is ridiculously good. Sweet, crispy, and just packed with flavor. The fried okra was something I've never had before. No breading--just split in half and fried as-is. Super unique and honestly really good. If you like okra, you've gotta try it this way. For sandwiches, my wife had the pig melt, which is their take on a pulled pork sandwich on Texas toast. The pork was tender, juicy, and stacked nicely, definitely a solid choice. I had the BBQuban, their BBQ twist on a Cuban sandwich, and it was excellent. Great flavor, well put together, and something a little different from the usual. The meats across the board were done right. The turkey was tender and served in big, thick slices. The brisket had a good bark and paired well with their BBQ sauce. Sides were all solid. The mac and cheese was creamy (I added a little salt and it was perfect for me), baked beans were flavorful, and the collard greens were on point. And the banana pudding... easily one of the best I've had in the North Georgia area. If you're going here, don't skip it. The space itself is fun with a bar area, and the service was great. Everyone was friendly, and the food came out fast. Parking is available right out front, but just make sure you scan the code and register your tag so you don't get ticketed. You can also park in nearby decks if you prefer. Overall, this is a strong BBQ spot in Gainesville. Great variety, solid execution, and definitely worth checking out.

There was an aura in the air when we got here, i swear im not being dramatic. The smell of the food hit us walking up, but it wasnt over-powering...it was just the right "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" amount. Our waiter was attentive and consisent with checking on us and asking about quality - while answering other tables which im sure is difficult. I wasnt able to quite catch his name - but that is on our part since we didnt let him know we hadn't heard when he did say his name. The other waiter that brought out the food was also kind. The food was of course delicious, unsuprising since the other reveiws had already raved so much to the point it was honestly kind of expected. The steaks on both plates had been cooked to perfection - my husband and I are grateful to the chef that unknowingly gave us such a wonderful anniversary dinner. The Mozzerella Mac & Cheese had such depth of favor. The cheese though... we are absolutely suspecting the chef of using gouda! Smokey and rich in flavor - thoroughly creamy & cheesy with such consistent flavoring... we loved it. The fries were homemade and delicous, not much to say besides the fact they didnt taste of chemical preservatives whatsoever. In fact, I think at one point both our stomach thanked us for eating this wonderful food. My drinks were delicious, we got the Georgia Mule and then the margarita that is also on the drink menu. Both were delicious but the Georgia Mule was refreshing! Hands down the best we have ever tried. The weather, sun, and love of my life definetely played a part of this reveiw - I must be honest of my bias. The band that was playing on 03/24/2026 was great. If I could compare the vocalist I would say they sound exactly that of the singer "Hozier". Thank you to everyone that played a role in the experience.
