I gave this restaurant a 3 but it's probably a 2.5 or 2. It all depends on what you order. This place is similar to other joints like it because it has a variety of random foods that don't quite go together. They sell wings and Phillys like the name suggests. A good selection of wing sauce flavors- nothing fancy but they cover all of the popular flavors. As far as the Philly, one option. Comes with onions and bell peppers on it. From what I've seen, they do a lot of call in and to go orders placed once in the establishment. They do have a decent size area to dine in if you choose. This visit I ordered the two piece fish meal. You have the choice of tilapia or whiting and you can get either grilled or fried. For the meal you get a side and drink. I choose fries (crinkle) and sweet tea. The fish is normally pretty good. This visit, however, it lacked seasoning. Nothing some hot sauce, mustard and tarter sauce couldn't help but you shouldn't have to do all that for good tasting food. I also tasted an order of the grilled tilapia with lemon pepper seasoning. One piece had no flavor at all but the other was decent; a bit mushy for my taste. Fries are piping hot - for wings and fries the cook them once you get to the restaurant if you call it in. When I order wings, I typically get hot lemon pepper. Not the best wings in town but I like them. They're not those fatty wings that some places serve so they're good. My last visit I ordered vegetable lo mein. Do N O T order this!!! Ever. The noodles were flavorless and undercooked. It had nice sizes Of broccoli and I may have had 5 little slivers of carrots and some lettuce. Yes. LETTUCE. It's exactly how you may have imagined....slimy warm lettuce. Gross. As a seasoned wing "expert", I have tried nearly every wing joint in Gainesville. This is by far my favorite! Wings are personal. You like what you like, so I'll explain my rating. The wing size is perfect. Too big of a wing, or too small of a wing really messes with the sauce to wing ratio. I hate those big fat wings. They're just right. The finish is great! I prefer mine extra saucy, and the amount of "fry" they put on these is perfect. I do not like an extra crispy wing, but I do not like mushy wings. I like them right in the middle. They nailed it! Let's move on to the sauce. Most restaurants, wild wing, wing stop, etc, take a very lazy approach to their sauce. There is no character. It's red, it's vinegary, and it's mildly spicy. Good enough for your average wing schlepper, but not for me. Their sauce is with a substantial body. Coarse black pepper, quality hot sauce base, garlic, etc. it's a full flavored sauce that I could literally drink it's so good. I like a complex flavor palette. I do not like "foo foo" wings. They should taste like great buffalo wings, not mango, or ancho Chile, or chipotle garlic... but they also should not taste like they were fried then hastily splashed with Frank's red hot in between the cook's texting with his girlfriend, and walking out back for a smoke. There are few places that I'd actually drive an hour to get wings from. My top 4 are Three Dollar Cafe (the last local one for me is way over in johns creek) JR Crickets (amazing sauce), the Wings and Philly I just reviewed, and the Wings and Philly next to the Walmart on Hamilton road in Buford. Anyone else selling wings should just close as far as I'm concerned. Give this place a shot! Their fried rice is awesome as well, but under fried lately... I don't know what changed. Placed a to go order @552 pm. 3 philly n 20 wings they said it wil be ready in 15 20 min showed up @25 min 620 pm wrong order got 20 wings 1 philly. Had to wait until 638 pm to get order! Super unprofessional and only offered free drink for 35$ meal which took almost 1 hr for to go order read more

The food is decent, but not original. You can go to any other Chinese/American restaurant and receive the same food. But I will add that the service is exceptional. The waitresses are very nice and welcoming and the owners very frequently come out to say "hello" and check on your food. read more
