Food was okay. The "pho" noodles were better than the Triple in Garlic Sauce which was too sweet. It's counter service but they do have a few tables. Owners seem nice enough, at least that's how I interpreted them saying "you ok?" When they checked on us. This is our first time ordering Chinese from here as it was close to the house and I was craving Chinese. They didn't have delivery available but that was not a problem so we got our standard Chinese order of sesame, chicken and moo goo gai pan, some crab wontons little chewy, and eggrolls and spring rolls. Everything was what I expected from the small restaurant, but I ordered online and it was ready when I got there, great service the food was quite tasty so I made me a plate and enjoyed every minute of it. We have used carry out for at least 4-5 years. They get the orders correct and is delicious plus still warm. The people are polite and considerate. I am handicapped and they always carry my order out to the car. Recommend Peking as you will find something you like. I am having Hot and spicy soup tonight. Yummy. read more

Amazing service. I come here all the time, i've never had a wrong order. And the workers are always very helpful. I always forget to add YumYum sauce to my order and they always let me add a $1 tip for a Yumyum sauce instead of complicating things. The restaurant is very nice and well kept. I had the opportunity to visit the Peking Chinese Restaurant several times during my recent visit to the Hoschton area and the quality of their food was most preferable to me versus the other very "Americanized" Chinese food purveyors in the area. In particular their "Bean Curd Sichuan Style" is a very tasty tofu dish with stir-fry veggies, a slightly spicy sauce and the requisite steamed or fried rice as a side dish. I enjoyed this so much I ordered it twice in two weeks and turned my vegetarian SIL on to it as well. I also really enjoyed their Roast Pork Lo Mein, it was very tasty with proper noodle type and it's well-made, it would be a regular order for me if I lived in the area. Although there are a few tables and chairs there it really seems like take-out orders are its strong suit. They seemed quite willing to accommodate special orders although sometimes there was a bit of a communication gap. You can actually watch them cook your meal and it's pretty fascinating. All was not great however...their Chicken Chow Mein was pretty bland and their Egg Fried Rice, the rice that comes with meals, is kinda bland as well. I did not try any of their other Fried Rice dishes. You can order online and keep track of the status of your order for a $.99 fee or just phone it in or order there and watch it getting prepared. I got to sample a couple of other local Chinese places during my visit but Peking was far and away my favorite, better than I expected to find in a local strip mall. Recommended! read more

Since moving to Jefferson I have ordered 3 times. Customer service is non existent, they don't say hello or thank you. I never write bad reviews but today I ordered sizzling rice soup. When I got home no rice packet. I called ahead, when I arrived, there was on one in the back or front. No customers. The girl at the register was sitting below the counter not visible. I walked to the counter and could see her. I was not greeted. I had to ask for my order. She never spoke a word to me just handed the bill for me to sign. The food is mediocre. The service horrific. Take my advice and drive a few extra miles. Food will be better and they will appreciate your business. read more

The food is normally good. My last two visits I received old crab ragoons they were stale. I don't have money to waste. If this keeps happening I'll find a new take out. The crispy noodles were stale too. Check the freshness of your order before you leave is my advice. The restaurant looks dirty and I don't trust the grade being displayed because of what my eyes see. When I first had food from this place about 18 months ago, I didn't care for it AT ALL and resigned myself to traveling farther to find good Chinese food. About 8 months ago, that all changed. I don't know if the ownership or management has changed, but the food improved dramatically and I am really happy for that. We don't eat from here often (always take out), but it's a comfortable choice and I know I will be satisfied with what I get. read more
