Very disappointed . Came here after 5 years and the food has really gone downhill! I ordered, and paid for sweet and sour shrimp. I got chicken and it's 90% breading, 10% dried out chicken. Egg rolls tasted weird! Chicken wing overcooked. I can't say I will return. read more

Decor has not changed since they opened like 20 years ago. They food is the same mediocre standard, the Food Inspection Grade is 87 should be much lower, the buffet appearance is unappealing at best, the crock pots for soup was filthy, and one of the employees was snapping green beans in the dinning area, I'm Pretty sure that's cross contamination violation.. The food itself is really good for the price of the buffet, but there is much more verity for dine in dinner options. Im sure the buffet is a little smaller than what other buffets have but the food is fresh 9/10 times. They have really good sweet and sour chicken and good soup. It was our first time trying the place since Great Wall closed in Jefferson. I have never puked so fast right after dinner. I'm sure the chicken was bad, and the undercooked dumplings didn't help either. Hopefully others have a better experience, otherwise they may not last long. As far as the restaurant, it was empty (no surprise) and the smell almost made me walk back out. Also I've never had carpet stick to my shoes until I got here, so that was a new experience. I've been going here for years. The food has always been just ok and the restaurant never fantastic but it's about all commerce has to offer. Tonight I only received half the food I paid for and ordered and the manager told me I was wrong. I had a list and checked it off as I ordered it. I asked the manager to make it right and he told me to basically "go smoke it". I asked questions about the menu and what he explained was NOT what I received. If I never eat Chinese in this city again that will be fine. I'll never go back here again after they stole money from me. I also would tell you to g inside and view the sanitation of the restaurant it is not clean at all!!!!! I have NEVER written a bad review before in my life but this was the worst experience I have ever had with an order and I've never experienced a manager who wasn't willing to do what it takes to make an order right. This place is in a shopping plaza and is at one end. Friendly staff and good food we had the family combo dinner for about $20 and had enough left over to make a couple of meals from it. Food was great loved their fried wonton and my wife said she thought the crab Rangoon were the best. Overall decently clean and restrooms were very clean also. I don't really write a lot of reviews unless I really feel it's necessary. Don't get me wrong. I loved their food. Everything was good. However, I am so upset because I have ordered continuously from them in the past and have let things slide from missed orders and/or wrong orders. But today is the last straw. Now, when I go to Peking Palace, I can spend from $30-$80 due to the fact that I have a large family. So, I was a well paying regular there. But, today, after spending $45, I get home to see that they cooked the wrong order. And, that happens, I understand. So I called Peking and told them that they cooked the wrong order. The guy who took my order in the first place, argued with me and said that I told him a variation of what I ordered (General Tso's Tofu, BTW). I corrected him and reminded him that I confirmed it on the phone with him. He told me sorry, nothing else could be done. Well, I mean, I spent a good chunk of money at Peking; and have been in the past. Shouldn't you try to console me some kind of way or even try something crazy and fix the order? Don't argue with me, but actually try to keep my business. Well, it's safe to say, I won't be going back there. It's too bad, because I was hoping to make this my staple Chinese food place. This place has been a staple of mine for at least 10 years. The food is consistent, delicious, and they always give you more than enough. The crab rangoons are a must!!! I have tried a lot of different Chinese restaurants, including in China Town (that was an experience) and nothing compares to this place. Love it. read more
