I think it is inhumane how they house the turtles in the restaurant, please improve their living quality. Their water is unclean, they do not have enough basking space and are probably exhausted because they do not have the ability to rest all at once since there are so many in a tiny space. They are living creatures and at the very least deserve the ability to rest. Please look into proper care, how would you like being stuck in a small dirty place like those tanks. I've had weekday lunch here a few times, typically earlier in the lunch timeframe vs end. Food quality has always been decent - on par with my expectations of a buffet restaurant. Nothing too fancy, always a good variety, everything's tasted good in an Americanized-Chinese/Asian-Food way. I've not tried the hibachi part, can't comment on that. Staff has always seemed friendly. My family and I eat here on a regular basis. The food on the buffet is always fresh and hot. They have a large variety of Chinese food options and some American style foods (chicken nuggets, salad bar, fries, etc.) They offer a sushi bar as well as made to order hibachi meals. The waitresses are very attentive and the owners are super nice and friendly. They recently remodeled and the restaurant is always very clean. Their $7.99 lunch buffet is a great deal. I love coming here for lunch since it's so fast to get started and finished. For $7.50 all you can eat, the food is pretty good. It's obviously not gourmet but they have a lot options and pretty good options. They have a lot of Panda Express type entrees as well. I hate to even check one star. Should be no stars. First off, I called for the dinner buffet price and it was almost double what I was told when we got there. We would have gone somewhere else. After eating, I told the cashier who argued very rudely with me. I told her I'd pay it and handed her my credit card to avoid her thinking I was bucking for a free meal but also told her they need to tell people the correct price. She was loud, rude and disrespectful to me and pretty much accused me of trying to get a discounted meal. The food was old and dried out. It was probably there since lunch and we got there shortly after 6PM. I wonder what their health inspection scores have been??? We left a $5.00 tip on the table (for 2 people) and to add insult to injury, THEY added a $4.00 tip to my credit card! I have, of course, disputed the additional charges. When they first opened I ate there and it was good. The 2nd time it was not. I figured any place can have an off day. This was my 3rd visit. I will not go back. To give you an idea of how awful it was, I created this Yelp account just so that I could write this review. Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed that it looked clean and had been remodeled since our last visit. Used the restroom and noticed a fairly large black bug in the restroom (stepped on it). Walked out of the restroom, past the buffets and noticed another bug (dead) on the floor right in front of the buffet. Thought we should leave right then, but my son had already been served his tea. The food was cold and dried out. Just about everything was like this: egg rolls, crab Rangoon, chicken wings, and onion rings and more. My son had a sweet bun that was burnt on the bottom and couldn't even bite into the bottom crust. Apple pie slice was the same as the sweet bun. We saw them add food to the existing food for some of the dishes. We arrived at 5:20 pm, prime dinner time. Everything should have been fresh. My guess is that they had just left everything out from lunch time and added only when an item was depleted. Awful. My son was having sweet tea. He said it tasted odd, so I tasted it. Extremely sweet (more than normal sweet tea). My son said he saw the waitress add something to the tea. I'm assuming he saw her add the sugar, but should he even be seeing this? I don't know. The ONLY thing that was good was the egg drop soup. I visit my mom here a few times a year and I have gone to this restaurant several times in the past and it was fairly good. I will NOT be going back there again. I spent $34 on one of the worst meals we've had. Didn't even get friendly service. read more

This is probably the worst Chinese buffets I've gone to. First of all, it was obvious that they do not routinely clean the restaurant because the table and the chairs were sticky with some substance. This is my favorite chinese place within 50 miles of my house. I am very picky about my chinese food and have only found 2 that I like this being my favorite.I love this place my family goes at least 2 times a month. They have great food and a varity of sushi which you don't see very often at the buffets and for around 7.00 bucks a person you can not beat it.
