The drinks were the first things we ordered and they were absolutely delicious, and served well with whip cream on top. The appetiser was the awesomosas which were crispy shells filled with nicely seasoned beef that was also cooked very well. We ordered the Goat Biryani, and it came in very generous portion size. It was absolutely delicious. For the first time in over five years, a restaurant has done the goat right, amazing. Tip: pour some of the tamarind sauce from the awesomosas like we did if you can stand the explosion of flavour you will experience. The garlic naan was soft and flavourful. If you want a more spicy experience put one of the peppers they serve with the biryani and you will be pleasantly surprised. The tiramisu was what we had for dessert, and that was good, too. The customer service was above average, the waitress offered really helpful menu suggestions, and was very polite. The food didn't take long to arrive after ordering it, and even more special, they arrived in order, rather than everything at once. We even ordered some naan to go. The restrooms were clean. The service was friendly and professional, very helpful with menu items that I wasn't sure about. The food is incredible! I got a take out order, a mixed bag. An order of Awesomosas, were a hit. The 'Yummy in my Tummy' curry with goat was amazing. A flavorful, rich sauce and the goat was tender and tasted so good. The Chicken Lovers Platter is a combination of Chicken Reshmi Kabob & Chicken Tikka Boti and was excellent! We had the basmati rice and garlic naan, both a hit. We finished with the Ghulab Jamun, dry milk balls in rose syrup. A new one on me, but very good. All in all this place is great. I love the setting, the decor, the atmosphere, very genuine. I wish I could have tried this place. I was introduced to Nihari a while ago and fell in love with that dish. The only place that serves it is very far from me, so when this place opened, I was very excited to try it. My friend has gone there a few times and says it's really good. Every time I go there, they don't have Nihari. They say not many people order it and it takes a long time to make. I can understand that, but at least put that on your menu. I was told to call the day before. So, I did. I called yesterday and asked about the Nihari. Of course, it was sold out so I asked them to prepare some for today at lunch. They said it wasn't a problem, but please call again in at 11a to remind them so they won't forget. First off, that should not be my responsibility. If you want to serve customers, you should be able to make a note and make the food you promised. Especially since it is on your menu. Regardless, I said "sure". This morning, I have called 23 times since 10:10a (I didn't know they opened at 11a). The phone rings and rings and rings. Sometimes it goes straight to voicemail, and sometimes it is busy and can't ring. I finally got through at 12:05p, I told the lady yesterday we would like to eat at 12:30p. And when I asked her if they still would be able to serve it, she said they were sold out... They couldn't serve it today, and come tomorrow. Of course, I tried to remind her that I called yesterday and to ask them to make it today, and she lied to me saying they had it yesterday but sold out already. This is such a shame. I would love to try their Nihari, but I can't make them do their job. I do not plan to ever go here for any reason and will go back to my old restaurant that is farther away. Be warned that some items on the menu are not available and you have to call in advance. But they don't answer their phone either, so just look for another place to eat. read more

I had the Goan shrimp curry which was delicious, fresh, beautifully spiced and textured. It was served hot, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly, not overdone. The shrimp were cooked in the sauce. They were infused with the flavors. My wife had the goat korma. Tender chunks of goat were cooked to perfection, not gamey or oily as goat can sometimes be. The sauce was beautiful with texture and spices. They do not cook their food overly spicy hot. It's safe for all but the faint hearted. For the experienced southern Indian foodie, you mught want to ask them to spice it up. PS. They do not have their full menu every night, but there are so many great things to choose from. This is a family owned place, and you can tell they really care about their customers. We have eaten here twice this weekend and will be regulars for sure. I had the Basmati Roce and shared a side of plain naan with my son. The dish was perfect. There was enough sauce and it was the right thickness. The potatoes and goat were were tender and plentiful. It's been years since I had goat and this did not disappoint. It's like milder beef, almost like a cross between beef and lamb. It was quite good. The spice level was just right - it would grab you in the throat, make you sweat just a little but you could still taste the flavor. The naan was also good and was great for dipping in the sauce. This restaurant maintains its very authentic Pakistani roots. This restaurant is very much new on the block but it gives the area a pop of color with its rich design, and cultural influence. It's certainly takes it's stance as one of the most flavorful Indian restaurants in the Spring area with curries that will sweep you to Pakistan and Garlic Butter Naan that melts in your mouth. I would recommend their Vegetable curry. It's packed full of robust notes of Cardamon, turmeric, hints of nutmeg, and a soft heat of spiced peppers! Wow! Their vegetable samosas are amazing as well. You would need to arrive here early as they tend to run out after 12 and only make a certain amount each day. Their sauces are all handmade! Most servings of food provide about 3 meals.
