The food is DELICIOUS!!! The customer service was EXCELLENT! The ambiance is BEAUTIFUL! The restaurant looks like you're in India or Pakistan, and am about to eat at an Indian/Pakistani restaurant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hidden gem that serves authentically delicious South Asian foods.

It's been at least six times I've ate from here, and I have yet to eat inside-- it's mostly always pick up or a catering event. The dish that has been the stand out dish to me has been the chicken biryani. I feel like in the North side-- this is the best we have, so I will continue to order from here. They do give chutney which they call raita, but if you think it's the one with onions and cilantro in it, it's not. I do like that the chutney/ Raita whatever they want to call it is thick-- I'm always annoyed when it's as liquid as water. They charge a dollar extra or any extras. Now for the cons: I had picked up a catering order before and the food wasn't ready when they said it would be. I waited a while for it which wasn't a huge deal for me but it would be if you had hungry guests waiting to eat. It makes the host look bad when the food is late. I wanted to get a take out my menu for next time, and apparently they don't have any menu that you could take with you so I had to take pictures of it. Also, if you need any catering prices, you have to call them to get it and they we still haven't word for an upcoming event. I think it's weird that they don't have any take out menus or a catering menu-- it's almost like they don't want to do business. I checked fb and insta to see if they have deals but they only have a couple of recent posts, everything else was old, but didn't see any. I did see that they do buffets now so I might try that out. As long as the biryani continues to be good, I'll keep coming back for more.

We have ordered takeout here before but this evening was our first time to dine in. We were greeted very warmly and were explained to that the phone systems were down and therefore no ambient music could play. We were also proudly informed that the buffet was recently opened. After browsing the options briefly we both ordered the buffet. I think we tried one bite of every item. Some of our favorites were the standby basmati rice and tikka masala. Some other favorites were the mixed vegetable curry and the signature chicken tandoori. There was a small salad bar and dessert area that included homemade dressing and fresh fruit. My husband enjoyed the chicken corn soup and spring rolls as well. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the hospitality!

Wow, this was one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to, and I'm surprised to find it all the way in Spring! The vegetarian thali was incredible. So flavorful and full of spice. I believe I ordered the mixed vegetable masala, aloo gobi, and channa daal fry. Very filling dish even with the absence of meat. The garlic naan was pillowy and fresh! Very friendly service as well! I will need to come here more often on my lunch breaks!

This place is the Best Indian food i have EVER tasted... Ive had several dishes, meat & vegetarian and they are all savoring and wonderful in taste... Authentic and wholesome Prices are affordable and all the food is wonderful!! I highly recommend this place

Curry Masala is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is so good and packed with flavor. The Togo process is easy as well.

Shahi Tikka Boti Wrap (TAWA PARATHA BREAD!)

I LOVE THE CURRY MASALA RESTAURANT!! I have now been here 5-6 times, ALWAYS FLAVORFUL & DELICIOUS... my wife always gets the Butter Chicken and Naan and I switch it up a little bit.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Shahi Tikka Boti Wrap (MUST GET IT ON THE Tawa Paratha Bread)-Extra sauces please! Friendly service, seat yourself... expect a little cook time, love the place, it's sitting in Delhi -all colorful and inviting atmosphere.

Great garlic naan and excellent chicken vindaloo. Basmati rice was solid.

We also had Chicken Szechuan chaomein, great noodles, the Szechuan flavor on this dish was just spot on. We came a little earlier and there was already a long line. I heard that if you order in advance, you can skip the line. While you wait, the employees walk around and you can order a drink. Which is nice if you're waiting a while and it gets hot. The employees were all very nice and ambiance is how you would expect a regular bbq restaurant to be. There are plenty of seating outside but limited inside. The seats are all first come first serve, so usually the inside seating runs out first. We ordered 1/2lb ribs, 1/2lb brisket, 1/2lb sausages, and some sides like Mac&cheese, beans, loaded potato, cobbler, etc. total was about $120 after tip. The food was very delicious and worth the drive. Although, I will say that it doesn't taste that much different from my other favorite bbq restaurants. I was still a great experience and very delicious. I highly recommend to try if you're in the area.

I've tried those deemed "the best," including Salt Lick in Driftwood and Killen's. So how did CorkScrew measure up? In addition to the beef rib, we tried the moist brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. We also tried several sides, including those recommended in the Michelin review: potato salad, mac and cheese, smokey beans, and coleslaw, and I picked up a peach cobbler, as well. The beef rib: STELLAR. This was outstanding with its flavorful bark and an impossibly tender texture that truly melts in your mouth, unlike any other beef rib I've ever had. Easily the very best beef rib, without a doubt. The brisket was delicious, as well: tender and flavorful. The sausage was nothing special... on par with sausage elsewhere, as was the pork. As for the sides, I've never been a fan of beans, but since the Michelin review specifically mentioned them, I gave them a try. I'm a fan! I would definitely order these again. Their smokiness is gently tamed by a touch of sweetness. The rest? Very average. The mac and cheese tasted like the stuff I had in my elementary school cafeteria - very un-special. The potato salad was salty and was missing any semblance of potato chunks. The texture was oddly like lumpy mashed potatoes. But the other surprise for me: the cobbler. This was simply and divinely perfect with crisp, sweet buttery crumble. A wonderful way to end a hearty meal. I'm so glad I ordered our food online for pickup. When I arrived at 1pm, the line was wrapped around the building. Pickup was very easy: I texted them when I arrived, and they replied when they were ready for me to go in and retrieve it. But even if there wasn't a line, I would never eat there: the restaurant is too divey for me: very rustic, picnic-like feel both inside and out, and it was uncomfortably warm and humid (again, inside and out.) The staff was very friendly and cheerful. Glad i tried it, and when i get a hankering for a good beef rib, this is definitely where I'll be getting it!

Actually, they have a good size menu and have some American options along with juices and smoothies so It made ordering easy. They also have a full bar with several cocktails and mocktails. Their happy hour ends at 6pm, but I arrived at 7pm so I ended up missing the discounted drinks. I ordered the cod and shrimp pita which ended up being slightly different than the regular gyro. I had to set it down after a couple of bites since the wheat pita bread is much thinner than regular pita bread and it kept falling apart on me. I also added a mango mojito. With a name like Island Grill, I sort of expected to see more tropical drinks or rum-based cocktails show up on the menu, but this was about the only one. Overall, my experience was okay, but I don't know if it was good enough for me to return.

But after that, I have to say that I will say that I like how quick the service was. You can see them making your food fresh after ordering and I appreciate that they tried to move quickly because there were people going in and out on the Saturday afternoon I was there. I personally don't like the thick bread and prefer the pita pocket style of rolls, but that's just personal preference. So I'm not even counting that part of the review. Because I expected it to have the thinner bread, I asked them to cut it. I usually like to have my sandwich cut in the middle, so I can eat half of it while driving since I'm almost always on the go. When they cut half of the sandwich, the aluminum foil bits were inside of the sandwich and that was really annoying because I had to pick off almost half of the sandwich from the ends of the sandwich just to make sure I didn't eat any bits of aluminum foil. I would ask them to either cut sandwiches in half separately before wrapping or have better quality aluminum foil (You can see the aluminum foil in the pictures). The sauce and meat was good and the veggies seemed fresh. I'm not knocking this place down, I'll definitely be back to try out again but just something to be aware of. I think the gyro wrap might just be growing on me. All in all, if you like a fluffy, smaller sanplacedwich like they do up north, instead of a longer shawarma wrap, definitely try this place out!
