First time dining at Namaste. The food itself was delicious. They have a mixture of Indian and Chinese food options. We started with samosas, which were gobbled up immediately. So good. Then we ordered our entrees, which were full of flavor. I'd go back just for the noodles. They didn't have quite a few of the desserts I wanted, but they offered alternatives. It was okay. Ordered food at Namaste again after a few months and we had a better experience this time! I like how the staff asks about your preferences first so that they could suggest a few items in case you aren't familiar with the menu. We got their chicken masala, garlic and butter naan, chapati, and masala tea. Bread is fresh and seasoned well like last time! The chicken wasn't as salty this time and it was quite soft and juicy. I think it would've been better if it were spicy, but we did request the lowest spice level since my parents don't have the best spice tolerance so that's not their fault at all. The tea was quite strong and sweet, which I enjoyed! Would personally like it a bit creamier but it wasn't so bad. Also, I agree with the previous review: I was surprised that we were charged for the water bottles, which we only noticed after paying. The food and service were really good, but we had a bit of a problem with the billing process. Upon being seated there were water bottles along with the menus already at the table. My family and I (6 people in total) are not very familiar with Indian cuisine, so our nice server, Johnson, gave us great recommendations. In the end, we ordered chicken korma, lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, and chicken butter masala for our mains. We also had butter naan, garlic naan, garlic rice and plain rice on the side. My sister also tried the mango lassi (very smooth and sweet). All of the food was very flavorful and well-seasoned, with a good portion of meat inside. We unanimously agreed that the korma tasted the best though. After eating, we were full and satisfied (with take-out in hand as well). We only had one problem with our visit, which was the fact that they did not tell us that the water bottles (which were already placed at the table upon seating) had a 35 cent charge each. This place has gone down hill dramatically and it's so very sad. What once was our favorite Indian cuisine restaurant has become a place we will no longer visit. We used to dine in several times a month. Ownership changed and then the menu was changed. That was fine. Our favorite dishes were still the same. Service became very slow and then pretty much nonexistent. We decided to give it a try today for take out and what a disappointment it was. The front door was dirty. So dirty that my husband had to immediately head to the restroom to wash his hands. As he walked over he could hear the sound of his steps because the floor was sticky dirty. He was the only person in the restaurant and we can see why. The price per entree has gotten so expensive and no longer includes rice. This is an Indian restaurant! This is equivalent to beans and rice at a Mexican restaurant! The dishes we ordered were $17.99 each and contained 8 pieces of chicken in one and 7 pieces in the other one. Rice is $.99 for about a cup and each Naan was $4.99. An order of Naan is ONE piece cut in half and when put together is about 8" in diameter. Totally not worth it. Not only was this WAY over priced, the quality of our dishes were not creamy as they once were and the Naan must be a new recipe or old Naan they sold us. I ordered this on doordash because I was craving tandoori chicken.... I loved their version of it which was chargrilled. So flavorful and cooked perfectly moist and tender. Rice does not come with this entree and I had to pay $9 for a container of masala rice while a decent portion was basically just turmeric colored basmati rice no masala flavor really and way overpriced. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. My order was packed well and hot and fresh. Craving fulfilled! read more

This looks like a run down strip center. I went in not having high hopes. Walking into the doors my nose was grabbed with the amazing aromas of a good Indian restaurant. The person who helped us was extremely friendly and wanted to ensure our experience was wonderful. (Which it was). We ordered the Samosas which my gal thought were delicious for an appetizer. I have a bean allergy so I didn't try it but it looks great. It sure smelled wonderful. Their chutney was tasty with the right flavor. I ordered the chicken biryani level 4 and she had the chicken jalfrezi level 3. My biryani was nice and spicy but not too much. It had tons of flavor and was very good. It's not the best I've had but very good. I want to try the goat next. Her Jalfrezi was tasty and the gravy was just great. Both dishes had a good amount of gravy and it was fantastic. We also got garlic naan and cheese naan. Their naan was so good we ordered some to go. It was soft,fluffy season and you can tell they cook on a tandoor. The bottom was thin with a slight crispness to it. It was heaven. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount and the fantastic quality of food. Folks give this place a try. Francis the owner/server was very polite in asking us what we liked, and offered to whip up some off menu dishes for us based on our preferences. It... was.... delicious... Also it's BYOB, with a liquor store 3 store down in the strip center. Although the food was good, this last experience was a big disappointment as Namaste is no longer what it used to be! Shrimp and goat are no longer offered. First time coming here! The staffs were nice and friendly and the service was good. But when we came here, it was about a rash hour so it took awhile to get our foods. The price was kinda high end but its worth it for some dishes. Personally, I liked aloo gobi, amristar chole, and Manchurian veggie fried rice! Somehow, ones with lighter color dishes seemed to be missing something, like certain seasonings and a bit more of salt maybe. Other than that, I enjoyed the experience! I can try the ones we liked! My boyfriend and I were craving Indian, so we decided to give this place a try. We arrived in the late afternoon and the place was mostly empty, which is crazy because we had the best experience! First of all, the service was great! We were greeted by a gentleman who was eager to answer all our questions since we weren't familiar with the items on the menu. We ended up telling him roughly what we liked and our high tolerance for spicy food, and he sort of put together a tasting for us and even included a custom paneer dish! We had naan, paneer, cauliflower in a red sauce (called The Dragon), goat biryani, and an assortment of pakora. Everything was DELICIOUS!! We over ordered on purpose because we enjoy leftovers, and we had enough for another full dinner the next day. My favorite items were the Dragon Cauliflower, and the assortment of Pakora, especially the chili and the potato pakora. Ambiance, not my favorite. It is a very outdated restaurant. If you are dining in, the restaurant does get a little warm and could use better air conditioning. The place can be cleaner. The bathrooms are filthy. The service is super lacking. One gentleman serving and he has a major attitude. The owner was so helpful in making sure she was given food at a heat level that she could tolerate. We started with samosas. Avoid the "tomato soup" at all costs!!! It isn't tangy, or acidic or even remotely tasting of tomato. They dump tons of sugar and butter into it and it turns into some type of sweet orange syrup. Avoid! Everything else was delicious tho. I had the chickpea curry and house shrimp special curry and was delighted. The food was just as spicy as I requested and it was making my nose run a little bit. The chick peas were tender, and the sauce was well balanced and not lacking any herbs or spices. The shrimp dish was delicious as well, just wish there was more shrimp but not too sad as that delicious sauce was most definitely sopped up with the naan. I don't know why the naan tastes like saltine crackers, but I like saltine crackers very much so I'm not complaining. the basmati rice was basmati rice and all was well in this Indian restaurant. We came out all the way on this working day and I must say , was not disappointed. The restaurant was hardly occupied but it is a Monday afternoon so ... We ordered paalak panner, masala dosa , pakoda, chai and lassi The palak panner came with naan, roti and a side salad so it was a great bargain deal for the price. This is supposedly lunch special during weekdays. The lassi had saffron in it which gave it a unique twist in flavor . All the rotis, naans and rice were hot and appetizing , in fact I could not finish it... Its a modest looking place from outside and very neat and pretty on the inside. I loved the mint chutney with the pakoras but my American friend could not digest it, she found it too spicy. Came here the other night for a family dinner - we have ordered take out from this place since it had changed ownership but never eaten at the restaurant. It's definitely a casual family dining place. They don't serve regular tap water and charge you for bottled water (a little weird) - when asked why, the answer was that they have no tap water? The waitress was great at letting us know which dishes were spicy (a warning for our kids) and she was spot on. We ordered the samosas for the kids as an appetizer - not spicy but flavorful. The paneer momos were great but definitely had a high spice level. The chicken tikka biryani was delicious - moist chicken and flavorful spicy rice. The chicken tandoori was a little undercooked for my liking (I don't like seeing blood at all) but the parts I did eat were delicious and packed with tangy Smokey flavor. The bhagara baigan was super spicy but really good as well - I love eggplant and it was cooked perfectly. I love how they integrate Chinese with Indian flavors and stay true to authentic flavors and food prep. My dislike was how it seemed like they couldn't adjust spice level for clients who can't eat really spicy foods and the bottle water thing was something I'd never experienced at a restaurant recently. I have no idea how this happened, because I've been told hundreds of times that my choice for a meal is too off the wall. But she's gotten hooked on Indian and I'm not mad about it. She went to it up to go and couldn't decide between the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala, so she ordered both. And she probably only ate about 1/3rd of it all. I already had food for the day, so I ended up just trying a couple bites and absolutely loved it. So the next night, when she surrendered the remaining bit of leftovers to me, I had a decision to make. Did I want to finish off everything or be done eating for the day after a large, late lunch? Well, I thought about it. And I ate all the leftovers. And I had zero regrets. Halfway through, I said, "I cannot believe how amazing this food is". And it was at that moment that I realized I needed to write this review. This was one of the best meals I've eaten since moving to the area, despite it being next day leftovers from to-go containers.
