Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Chicken Butter Masala
    Kim D.

Ordered food at Namaste again after a few months and we had a better experience this time! I like how the staff asks about your preferences first so that they could suggest a few items in case you aren't familiar with the menu. We got their chicken masala, garlic and butter naan, chapati, and masala tea. Bread is fresh and seasoned well like last time! The chicken wasn't as salty this time and it was quite soft and juicy. I think it would've been better if it were spicy, but we did request the lowest spice level since my parents don't have the best spice tolerance so that's not their fault at all. The tea was quite strong and sweet, which I enjoyed! Would personally like it a bit creamier but it wasn't so bad. Also, I agree with the previous review: I was surprised that we were charged for the water bottles, which we only noticed after paying. Might be my mistake to expect them to be free though, but I figured it's worth pointing out anyway.

The food and service were really good, but we had a bit of a problem with the billing process. Upon being seated there were water bottles along with the menus already at the table. My family and I (6 people in total) are not very familiar with Indian cuisine, so our nice server, Johnson, gave us great recommendations. In the end, we ordered chicken korma, lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, and chicken butter masala for our mains. We also had butter naan, garlic naan, garlic rice and plain rice on the side. My sister also tried the mango lassi (very smooth and sweet). All of the food was very flavorful and well-seasoned, with a good portion of meat inside. We unanimously agreed that the korma tasted the best though. After eating, we were full and satisfied (with take-out in hand as well). We only had one problem with our visit, which was the fact that they did not tell us that the water bottles (which were already placed at the table upon seating) had a 35 cent charge each. We felt that they should have informed us of this fact at the beginning. Other than that, we enjoyed eating here at Namaste.

Tandoori chicken One and Only Tandoori Kukkad and Masala Rice with no masala flavor just turmeric rice
    Kimmy R.

I ordered this on doordash because I was craving tandoori chicken.... I loved their version of it which was chargrilled. So flavorful and cooked perfectly moist and tender. Rice does not come with this entree and I had to pay $9 for a container of masala rice while a decent portion was basically just turmeric colored basmati rice no masala flavor really and way overpriced. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. My order was packed well and hot and fresh. Craving fulfilled!

This looks like a run down strip center. I went in not having high hopes. Walking into the doors my nose was grabbed with the amazing aromas of a good Indian restaurant. The person who helped us was extremely friendly and wanted to ensure our experience was wonderful. (Which it was). We ordered the Samosas which my gal thought were delicious for an appetizer. I have a bean allergy so I didn't try it but it looks great. It sure smelled wonderful. Their chutney was tasty with the right flavor. I ordered the chicken biryani level 4 and she had the chicken jalfrezi level 3. My biryani was nice and spicy but not too much. It had tons of flavor and was very good. It's not the best I've had but very good. I want to try the goat next. Her Jalfrezi was tasty and the gravy was just great. Both dishes had a good amount of gravy and it was fantastic. We also got garlic naan and cheese naan. Their naan was so good we ordered some to go. It was soft, fluffy season and you can tell they cook on a tandoor. The bottom was thin with a slight crispness to it. It was heaven. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount and the fantastic quality of food. Folks give this place a try. I will definitely be back.

Food was super yummy! Super super yummy. We put our meal in the hands of the man in charge and he delivered. Trust him and his surprises. Tasting the world!

First time coming here! The staffs were nice and friendly and the service was good. But when we came here, it was about a rash hour so it took awhile to get our foods. The price was kinda high end but its worth it for some dishes. Personally, I liked aloo gobi, amristar chole, and Manchurian veggie fried rice! Somehow, ones with lighter color dishes seemed to be missing something, like certain seasonings and a bit more of salt maybe. Other than that, I enjoyed the experience! I can try the ones we liked! Come for those who like Indian foods! Cheers

I had an alternate plan initially, but timing didn't work out for me, so I perused my bookmarks as I took the parking shuttle to my car and settled on Curry Masala. I called them once I got to my car and was told my order would be ready in about 20 minutes, as my GPS read out that I was 20 minutes from the restaurant. Everything was coming up Milhouse. Because I am a basic B, I ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. It was ready about 3 minutes after I arrived, and off to home I headed. I enjoyed both, but thought the tikka masala was definitely the better of the two, and the wife agreed. We had a favorite Indian spot really close to here that has unfortunately closed down, so I have been on the hunt for a new one. Curry Masala did not quite match that level, but it's not a bad option when in the area.

If you don't like spicy or seasoned food, this place works for you and you don't need to continue this review. If you do care for those things and you try this place, you might agree that the flavor profile is catering to the demographic of the location that the restaurant is in and not the authenticity of the culture that it should represent. I know of another location, but this is not to take away business for one restaurant, but to help encourage this one to lean more into its authentic flavor. Even if that means moving locations because your demographic may not care for it. I had chicken Biryani (safe for an American) but the chicken was dry and with minimal flavor. The rice lacked flavor. The raita was ok, if you like everything blended together. The onions and lime/lemon you might usually have on the side was not offered with this. Fried cauliflower with chicken 65 seasoning, had a good spice level, but it was soggy.

The neo modern interior is stylish and chic. Our group opted for the 10 course Chef's table tasting menu with wine pairings. The Chef's table is in a semi private space right in front of the kitchen, separated from the main dinning room by curtains. It was fun to watch the kitchen in action, but the area felt a bit warm at times. Presentation was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. Each dish arrived in uniquely designed serve ware and each wine was presented in a different glass. The ingredients were top-notch, featuring Hokkaido scallops, Wagyu beef, yellowfin tuna, etc. That said, while some dishes highlighted the Indian flavors we were expecting, others leaned more towards American fusion. The wine pairing complemented each dish well and the sommelier provided detailed explanations for each wine. My favorite dishes of the night were the chaat and the lamb chop. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and appreciated the quality of the ingredients, the service and presentation. However I wish there's more emphasis on the Indian flavors. Based on the glimpse of the flavors we experienced in some of the courses, I suspect I might enjoy a simple bowl of vindaloo or curry from their regular menu more.

About 6 people on average waiting for service at any given time throughout our wait. If they could up their staffing that would definitely help. The look of exasperation on folks faces while they waited was more than evident. Our wait was 10 minutes to order and 30 minutes to get the food. Not impressed. But I noticed all the customers (other than us) were ordering boatloads of food. So what can one do. As for the food, we got the butter Marsala which the owner said is butter chicken. And also a side of cheese garlic naan. The naan didn't travel well but I think fresh it would've been fantastic. It is Garlic with a capital G. You can smell it a mile away. And I love garlic by the way. The butter chicken has a great flavor. Not a whole lot of chicken but sufficient for the size I suppose. It comes with flakey white rice.

I came in with my husband and 3 kids (one tween, one picky little kid, one picky toddler). We ordered a lot of food so we could share and try it all. There wasn't a single thing anybody didn't like. Samosa, Chana, paneer masala, lentils, roti, naan, the street food things I can't remember the name of right now, and the fried rice. When I say I could eat here every day and never get bored, I mean it. The menu had a lot of classics we have had before and also had a lot of new things we'd never heard of before. The man working there was very kind and answered all of our questions. He even made some great suggestions which we totally went with. He was also very kind and patient when it took us forever to decide because we have picky kids. The prices are very reasonable for what you get but we spent more than we normally would so we could try more stuff. The paneer masala was the best I've ever had. I'm usually more of a korma fan because the tomato can be bitter but the masala here was creamy and flavorful without any hint of bitterness. It was everybody's favorite. If you go here, let them know what you like and listen to their suggestions, especially if there are things you haven't tried. I almost didn't get the dosa but they recommended it and it was my absolute favorite. This is a tiny little hole-in-the-wall type building and you can't see the seating from the parking lot. There isn't decor on the walls and it looks closed until you walk up to the door but I think they might be remodeling or in the middle of redecorating. The inside is very clean and cozy with a variety of booth and table seating of various sizes. We will be back. Actually, if they don't know who we are in just a couple of months, I'll be surprised.

The samosas were crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling, and their tikka sauce on the side took it to another level. The chicken pakoras were just as impressive -- crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. And let's talk about that desi spicy ranch... absolute game changer. It paired perfectly with everything and honestly made the whole meal a 10/10. This is officially my new favorite Indian spot. Highly recommend if you're craving bold, flavorful, and perfectly cooked Indian food. Also, the prices are out great and the service is extremely fast!
