At $4.75 each or $54/dozen for standard size cupcakes, the price is a bit steep, but these also aren't just your regular supermarket cupcakes. They taste amazing, are beautifully presented, many are even filled, and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. They make the perfect gift for a special occasion. I'm a baker and am a bit of a cake snob. I've eaten some beautiful cupcakes and found the taste doesn't always match the look- but that's not the case here. Flavors are on point, frosting is delicious and cake is light and airy. Many of the cupcakes are even filled. I can see why the key lime pie one is a favorite- I think I like it better than the pie version! The frosting tastes like cheesecake and it even has the classic pie crust on bottom. The crème brûlée cupcakes were unique and a standout also. They also have a gluten free option and a couple vegan options. I ordered online and it was quick and easy to pick up towards the back of Swan's Market. Staff was quick & friendly. There aren't many places around to buy a good cupcake, and none quite like these. Oh my...Where to begin with these tastefully bundles of pure delight. I went to a party this weekend and had the privilege of indulging in these out of this world cupcakes. The crème brûlée had actual crème brûlée sitting on top of a moist delicious cupcake. I also had the key lime which paired perfectly with our Chardonnay and champagne. The crisp pie crust on the bottom of a moist lime filled cupcake topped off with a creamy topping. I have never had cupcakes like this and am now never not going to have these cupcakes forever. I kept hearing about these yummy cupcakes. I was out for the day treating myself for my Birthday. I had a spa treatment and then I had lunch at a restaurant close by so why not end the day with something sweet. This is such a solid cupcake spot that I happened to walk by while I was in Oakland..I had actually heard about this spot from a friend (except their mission bay location) and they were raving about their carrot cake cupcake even though they aren't even dessert people! I work in Oakland and my coworker said it's a place in swans Market that has delicious cupcakes. The Saturday before my birthday it happened to be in Oakland having dinner and honor of my sister's birthday and I stopped by this location right before they close to grab a couple cupcakes and Sample take home later on that night I opened up a key lime cupcake which had a graham cracker crumble at the bottom of the cupcake and I took a bite I said sister you have to try this and she devoured the rest of it it was delicious. I have visited this location three times since then and it's only been 2 weeks. They were able to accommodate me incredibly close to the date and provided incredibly helpful recommendations on what to get. These cupcakes are incredible! They are certainly giving Susiecakes a run for their money. They may be my new favorite. I've tried 3 cupcake flavors: Funfetti, Key Lime, and Mint Chocolate Chip. I liked the Key Lime most, followed by Funfetti for a close second, then Mint Chocolate Chip, but all were amazing. Their cupcakes are regularly priced between $5.25 to $5.75 each. But they also sell a few discounted cupcakes that are 1-2 days old (see left side of photo). If one day old: $1 for mini or $3.25 for regular size. If 2 days old: $3 for regular size. The friendly employee told me they opened just about a year ago (last April). Come check it out! This bakery is hidden from Street view since it is located within the Chase Center pavilion, next to the Warriors gift shop. They are open on the weekend. I noticed they also sell a gluten-free cupcake. No bathroom or seating inside, but there's plenty of seating on the bench outdoors, plus I think there is a bathroom somewhere in this pavilion. read more

I don't know if they were not packed correctly or if the cupcakes are simply not made to eat to-go. While most other cupcakes places do massive cupcakes, these are more petite and don't make you feel terrible for eating one by yourself. This was a great cupcake experience. The stand is located inside of Swan's Market in downtown Oakland, CA. I arrived during the lunch rush and this cupcake stand had plenty of customers. It seemed to be a one-person show serving customers however the service was quick and efficient. As a DMV native these cupcakes remind me of the quality of the original Georgetown Cupcakes when they first hit the scene in DC in the late 2000s. The cake and icing quality was near perfect execution for this style of cupcake. It could have been that the cupcakes were fresh out of the oven which is another nod to their quality. I originally intended to not eat the cupcakes immediately however they looked so delicious I ended up eating the cupcakes on site.
