Cute little stop in Swan's Marketplace. Customer service was awesome and the cupcakes are moist & delicious. I tried the HoHo, Chocolate Toffee, Red Velvet, & Oreo - all were lovely! Thank you!!

I kept hearing about these yummy cupcakes. I was out for the day treating myself for my Birthday. I had a spa treatment and then I had lunch at a restaurant close by so why not end the day with something sweet. It was the end of the day so the pickings were slim, but I was able to snag that Keylime cupcake. I loved it, it was really good. That cream on top is so good. I got my husband a carrot cake and he said it was good as well. It is located inside of Swans market. I think it's the old housewives. Well that's what it looks like to me. Anyway, really good.

10 out 10 These are some of the best if not the best cupcakes I have ever had. Super moist, super delicious and just zero complaints. If you haven't tried them, you need to. Sometimes you need to spoil yourself or someone else. Whatever reason you need to tell yourself just do it, you won't be disappointed. You can thank me later. This place is located in Swan's market right where the main entrance is. The workers were very nice and laughed at my jokes. Friendly polite staff. This is my new favorite place to treat myself and others. Enjoy

This is my go to for cupcakes every single time. Moist cake, amazing flavors and frosting so good there are never leftovers. I love how there are always seasonal flavors or flavors of the month. I have been stopping by this location the most since it is close to my office. I spoil my son and get cupcakes every other Friday. This time I picked up peppermint chocolate, lemon cream pie, hostess, oreo, and vanilla salted vanilla. All delicious, I've never had a bad cupcake. I do want to request bourbon passionfruit to come back soon.....

Red Velvet and Chocolate Salted Caramel. YUM!!!

I'm usually pretty skeptical about buying cupcakes because I'd much rather bake my own but today I had a sweet tooth and happened to pass this area and I stopped to get one chocolate salted caramel and one red velvet cupcake to satisfy my sweet tooth. I was pleasantly surprised by the chocolate salted caramel one. Both cupcakes are rich and decadent and the red velvet was exactly how I expected, and pretty good.. but I didn't expect to LOVE the chocolate one more than the red velvet. I do food reviews on social media and Youtube ("StrivingMom") and I'll be highlighting these cupcakes for sure!

I was pointed into the direction of this establishment while looking for good cupcakes for my birthday to take to work. I work in Oakland and my coworker said it's a place in swans Market that has delicious cupcakes. The Saturday before my birthday it happened to be in Oakland having dinner and honor of my sister's birthday and I stopped by this location right before they close to grab a couple cupcakes and Sample take home later on that night I opened up a key lime cupcake which had a graham cracker crumble at the bottom of the cupcake and I took a bite I said sister you have to try this and she devoured the rest of it it was delicious. I have visited this location three times since then and it's only been 2 weeks. It's a dangerous place to be but I will be ordering from them one more time this month because I am having another little get together so yes excellent cupcakes. Staff is friendly as well.

Cupcakin' is located inside Swan's Market in Downtown Oakland. You can go for the cupcakes, but there's so much more: oysters, wine, Mexican food, and more. A lovely place to enjoy indoor or outdoor dining. Now! Let's talk about that Margarita cupcake! It's a delicate dance between sweet and tart, and beware: there is alcohol in it! I don't know how they managed to keep a small liquid just under the crunchy sugared top, but wow - when it hit me, let's just say "amazing"! This one might not be for everybody, but I loved it. And since I always do chocolate choices, this was a nice drive in the opposite direction. Enjoy!

I love getting the mini cupcakes here! This location is located inside the market so it is quite small. Whenever I go, they don't have as many flavors as they do on their website. If there's certain flavors you want to try, I recommend ordering online the day before. My favorite is the key lime pie!

I wonder why I bother with this place. The last three times I've been here they are out of most things. This is frustrating. Their other stores don't have this problem. I don't know why they are always out of what I want and it doesn't matter the time. Plus, they have the nerve to be open until 9 according to their online profile. Why? Are they trying to sell that last 1/2 of a day old cupcake? Is that why? The people seem nice as they are telling me what they don't have. I'd hate to have to do that every day. Do the people working there like their jobs? Do they not resent having to disappoint people daily? I'm just wondering. As far as ambience, this place doesn't seem to have a kitchen to bake anything. They do manage to regularly feature a near empty cupcake case and a stack of empty baking trays. Fun times, no? They aren't worth my time.

Did a tgtg pickup, quick and easy fast. First time trying this bakery and must say I'm impressed. Cupcakes were delicious and beautiful. Located in swan marketplace with a few other establishment, looks like a good place to hang out for a good meal. Will be back again...

My family is full of cupcake lovers, and the kids would feel like they're connoisseurs. We walked into the marketplace and my son bee-lined straight towards the cupcakin' bake shop. We were greeted with a friendly smile, and we love how this big shop really set itself in a nice little niche in the marketplace. Just looking at the different flavors, I thought to myself that they look pretty decent for the price. My son ordered a double chocolate funfetti sprinkled cupcake. I didn't get the photo of the other cupcake that we bought because it was devoured in two seconds. They commented that the cupcakes were flavorful and moist, which is fantastic because nobody likes a dry cupcake. I like that they come in two different sizes and that they sell day old cupcakes for just in case you need the quick fix but don't want to pay the full price. We will be back again that I think that salted caramel is calling my name.

I was craving cup cake and found this place inside the Swan market. I got the raspberry chocolate cupcake, and it was delicious. It was moist. The cream was so good.

My interest was piqued when I saw that the location is one of those hidden hole-in-wall spots tucked down a few stairs off of a sidewalk. The interior is super tiny - either 2 people at a time or 1 "group". It's definitely close quarters but I was able to look around at their cases, which still had a decent selection despite it being around 1pm. The staff were really helpful in answering my questions (what's in the Best Milkshake cheesecake - coffee and oreo, how long will a slice of cheesecake be okay for if not refrigerated - 2 hours, what cookie flavors do you have available). I ended up getting a slice of the Best Milkshake cheesecake, a chocolate espresso cookie, and a cookies and cream cookie. I took the treats back home to Sacramento to split with my husband and we both agreed that they were all amazing! Super glad my coworker told us about Gregory's so we could try it out.
