I wish they have more vegan options! It is a cute little shop with delicious desserts. When we visited they had peach cobbler as the option but it was frozen. Once it was thawed the cobbler was so good! Just need more vegan options please! The owner was so nice and sweet!

DELICIOUS. Perfect portion cheese cakes in a cup. We both enjoyed the warm welcome and hospitality of the owner. The store is well lit and clean. Order at the counter and take your treats to go. We enjoyed the peach cobbler cheese cake. It was to die for. Solid crust, perfect cheese cake and the most amazing peach topping.

Randomly walked by this place and the name of the shop caught my eye. So of course I had to take a look, especially when it comes to desserts. Real Cutie Pies opened a couple of weeks ago. They have a simple display of different flavored bite-size cheesecake pies. I decided to go with 1 banana cream and 1 cookies & cream. Both were very tasty! Love the genuine customer service from interacting with the gentleman at the front counter to the baker, who happen to be standing in the front. She mentioned that there'll be key lime pie flavor next week, I'll definitely be back since I love almost anything key lime pie! The gentleman at the front was very inviting by sharing a little about their brand and how to find them on all the socials. Real Cutie Pies, I'll see you soon, probably next week! #25/2025

Noticed this new shop when I was walking by and stopped in. Got the banana and Oreo pies and they were both incredible with a nice single portion size. Wife and I loved them both. Also, everyone in the shop was super friendly. Will be back.

I brought these to my Open House and the people could not stop talking about them. We are Lucky to have them in Oakland.

I ordered the Egg puff with mango, strawberries and ice cream so yummy and the egg waffle was light and crispy. It reminded of a HK cafe called Eggettes in SF back in the day when I was in college. Could it be due to the City of Oakland charging for parking on Sundays? The menu is like picture book of their tempting desserts. I ordered something simple, the E02- mixed fruit, chia w/ ice cream, and coconut sauce. Only one person was working behind the counter, so it took them 5-8 mins to serve my order. But my order was worth the wait, because it was fresh, cold and refreshing. Why 4-stars? The interior seems old and outdated. There were only 4-5 booths along the wall. The old Yelp photos show small tables down the center of the dining room. Those were probably removed due to social distancing. The largest table is a booth that seats up to six. It seems like this place should have a bar at the counter. Street parking.....meters are active on Sunday. Parking garage available

And yes, the cheesecake is great - probably the best rendition of basque cheesecake I've had. I love that it's not too cream-cheese-y in flavor, and the texture is smooth and creamy. Of the flavors we tried, the cookies and cream was my favorite. The coffee had a very strong coffee flavor.

If you haven't tried them yet, go before it's too late! I've been lucky enough to try four of their flavors, and each one showcases their signature silky texture and deep flavor. All are not too sweet! My personal favorite is the Kyoto Matcha - the matcha is high-quality, with a vivid green color and rich flavor that balances beautifully with the creamy cheesecake base. The Original is a classic for a reason with deeply caramelized top and creamy interior. I also tried the Iribancha, a roasted green tea flavor. It's intense, smoky, and unique..maybe not one I could finish in one sitting, but definitely memorable and recommend for those who want that earthy/smoky taste. The truffle was also a standout, adding just enough umami to round out the sweetness. Preorders drop via Instagram (@basukucheesecakes) and sell out lightning-fast. Otherwise, plan to line up for slices! Wishing Basuku all the best on their next chapter. Fingers crossed for a return to the Bay someday! Until then, don't miss your chance to try what might be the best cheesecake you've ever had.

They own an apartment in Paris and I didn't want to offend them with my usual guerrilla tactics. I'm known to fight dirty and conspire with others during this game and everybody hates me because of it, and I didn't want to be banned from their apartment, as Paris in the fall is lovely. Thus my journey with Walter began. One thing about me, is I respect a place that knows flavors. I don't want basic vanilla, give me some weird and strange and flavorful that will tantalize my palette and ignite my senses. Give me salty and sweet. Give me TANG. Give me these things and DONT give me gas. Bad Walters cracked the code. All flavor, real dairy, no lactose, no gas. Each week they have a different batch of flavors, so there's always something new to explore. There's like 6 flavors to choose from at once and they let me try them all before I selected my choice hehe. I tried to sample 6 flavors at Cold Stone and they took me out back and shot me, but here, nobody was mean to me. Mr. Potatohead is the flavor I landed on--brown sugar custard with peanut butter swirl and chocolate covered potato chips. The chunks of chocolate covered potato chips were lodged in the ice cream and I felt like an archaeologist excavating ancient rocks as my spoon lifted the potato chocolate chunks out of the creamy custard into my mouth. I bought a pint. The Mick Jagger was another joy, with its salty caramel and Oreo chunks. They're lucky Peaches Christ was sold out because I might've lost my mind for a peach cobbler ice cream! They wouldve had to drag me out by the back of my neck like a rabid dog! Maybe next time. All in all, tasty ice cream. Would recommend.

Desserts: *Blueberry Ube Cheesecake *Pistachio Ricotta Cake *Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Cake with Biscoff Cookie Butter *Red Velvet Cheesecake Cup Nile just baked the Dubai cake and mentioned she would have a slice for herself that night. It was sweet and decadent for sure. Definitely perfect for sharing! I loved the blueberry ube cheesecake and so did Mom! I was looking for my leftovers and they disappeared from the fridge. Creamy and slightly fruity with that thick buttery crust-- amazing! Pistachio Ricotta cake was light and moist. Perfect when you want something delicately sweetened for tea time. Red Velvet cheesecake cup was just ok for me due to the cheesecake frosting. I think I would've preferred a whole slice of cake instead. This bakery kiosk is a part of Turkish-Mediterranean restaurant Moussaka. Interior has the cutest cafe tables and chairs. Love the grey with baby pink + mint green color scheme. Step inside and go directly to the dessert display to place an order. They're also on DoorDash. Can't wait to see what Chef Nile comes up with next!
