OMG Y'all! I just had one of the best cheesecakes! I'm still remembering the last creamy delicious bites I had and wished I had gotten a chance to get more! I was looking for a treat for my dad's birthday and came across Maple St. Cheesecakes in Yelp. The pics and reviews looked wonderful- I think I "liked" all of the pics during my browsing. My dad chose the walnut ganache flavor - it has a layer of ganache followed by whipped cream, toasted walnuts and sprinkled with more ganache and sea salt. YUM. Needless to say, it was a HIT! Maple Street Cheesecakes has definitely made my top cheesecakes list and let me tell you why: -The owner Marina is so awesome and sweet - she responded to my inquiry right away and was so nice and helpful with the menu, and ordering/pick up logistics. She also provided updates on my cheesecake and gave me nice recommendations. Also, it looks from their website, her and her partner (Brent) are a dynamic duo with this awesome business (she is the owner/content creator and he is the baker.) - Menu looks SO tasty on the website - I totally want to try them all- they offer a mini quad set where you can try 4 flavors. I want to try the pecan and lemon! (recommended by Marina) - Ordering logistics was easy peasy- you order online, schedule a pick-up day/time and Marina brings out the cheesecake to you at their address. They also deliver! - Taste, presentation and creativity. Absolutely delicious- it really is love at first bite with the perfectly baked creamy cheesecake, toasted walnuts, chocolate ganache drizzles, and yummy graham cracker crust. It was packaged neatly and was a perfect dessert for 6 adults (2 had seconds so technically enough for 8 with big slices!) I can't wait to try the other flavors. A well dressed young man, the Chef, knocked on my door and delivered our Walnut Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake. It was a surprise birthday gift. I had no idea that he drove from Oakland, we live in S.F. Had I known, I would have shaken his hand. This kind of personal service is hard to beat. Now for the cheesecake. The cheesecake was freshly made, the walnuts fresh & crisp, the chocolate ganache was delicious and not too sweet. The cheesecake was moist and creamy. The graham crust was light & buttery. My only regret was that I cannot rewind time and relive each yummy bite. We got the coconut scout cheesecake for our teenagers birthday. The price point made me a bit hesitant, but this cheesecake was next level delicious and definitely worth it.
