The whole place is so incredibly charming, probably the cutest cafe in the Bay! I couldn't stop taking pics of all the art and collection of artifacts from Malaysia back in the day. Then the eats -- we had a slice of quiche, the dry laksa a blue tea refresher and the ice kacang. Everything was great and the ice kacang was amazing, so we got another one! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful too. So charming and made for a very pleasant experience. Hope they make the special summer menu permanent!

I got a cone that was terribly decadent and found a table out of the way to enjoy it. I'd decided on a chocolate dipped waffle cone, because why not? They were freshly dipped -- the chocolate hadn't even dried yet! That made it an extra treat because I was able to lick the chocolate off. Because I was being indulgent, I got chocolate peanut butter as my scoop andi must say it was quite generous as a single scoop! The ice cream was delicious; maybe not top five for me, but I'd have it again! It was a lovely treat for a summer Saturday!

The ground mustard, green apples, and thyme onion jam was a good combo, but needed a little more sweetness from the jam. They have live music on Sundays which was a nice touch to a Sunday brunch.
