Who says a good crepe doesn't fix anything? It does! I loved my crepe, yummy and fresh. The lovely girl who took our order was sweet. The pace is new in Alameda and it was buzzing! This is one of my new fav places. Definitely coming back to try the savory one.

My cousin wanted to visit this place after seeing it on an instagram reel so she took me here for my birthday. Right when we entered the restaurant was already decorated for valentines which we found really cool. The backdrop they have was really cute so me and my cousin took a bunch of photos with the back drop. They had a discounted meal for a dessert and the lemon iced tea. We ordered a Bacon breakfast, the berry matcha and the brulee. The bacon breakfast was actually pretty good. It was definitely enough to split between two people. The berry matcha was also really good and the brulee was not sweet at all. I think that is what I enjoyed about the desserts the most is that they weren't sweet at all. They were all tasty and had enough fillings in them. Honestly the reason I gave four stars is because in the photos, the crepes was on a stand so you weren't holding it, unfortunately this was not the case when you order. The stand was for photos only which made it difficult especially if you ordered multiple items. They gave me a small plate that didn't even fit the crepe. So I do think they should change this up. The crepe stand would've made it perfect for photos instead of the small plate they gave us. All in all the food was good and it is definitely a place worth to try.

Coldplay, one of my fav bands, was playing on their TV. That alone made the ambiance such a relaxing atmosphere. People were lined up by the time we arrived and customers were seated at the tables, so no question about Crêpe Haven being a hit. I appreciate the circle cushion pads on their marble benches. I don't see cushions in all food spots' seating, so this caught our eye. This business's team obviously cares about the comfort of its customers. The bubble waffle with Nutella that we ordered came out in less than five minutes of our ordering this and the Nutella made this a delectable treat! I scraped as much of the Nutella as possible from the plate to prevent this sweet treat from being wasted. I want to go back to try their other menu items, such as sandwiches and ice cream toppings! What a fun and delicious addition to Park St. in Alameda!

Date: 12/11/2025 Time: 4:10 PM 56° Sunny I have walked by Crêpe Haven several times to the US Post Office, never stopping in to try their crepes. I usually ended up at Starbucks before I head home. The menu board mounted on the wall offers savory and sweet crepes. I asked the employee for a recommendation as this is my first time here. Upon review of the menu board, I decided to have their Golden Coast Crepe, consisting of romaine lettuce, sliced tomato, avocado, turkey and mayo. For a limited time, Crêpe Haven has tea with lemon. Wow! It tasted like an Arnold Palmer. The tea had a great balance of tea and lemon, and was quite refreshing. When the tea is a delight to drink, definitely the crepe is a delightful treat. The crepe was freshly prepared, and it was bomb-diggity good. Ambiance: comfy and casual. There is a long bench area with padded round cushions for sitting comfort. Guesstimate seating capacity: about 15 people. Nice lighting and mellow music playing on their speaker system. Service and cleanliness: A+. Employee was pleasant and helpful. Cost: $15.23, tax included. Overall, I am very satisfied that I stopped in to enjoy the Golden Coast Crepe. There definitely will be more return visits to have a BLAT crepe and a custom made Golden Coast crepe with cheese, and the sweet crepe with nutella.

Second day of soft opening for this new crêpe shop on Park St.! Crêpe Haven serves up more of the HK style, so it's not the type you'd find at Crêpevine or Frodo Joe's. The skin is more akin to the HK bubble waffle texture, but in crêpe form, but you can also choose the actual bubble waffles if you like. You have the option of either sweet or savory (see menu below), and pricing is decent, but I'd say everything is more of a snack or dessert than an actual meal. Apparently, the owners are from House of Bagels next door, so they are experienced in the industry, and well known in the Alameda scene. The decor is minimalistic, with wooden slat siding, but it is wide and spacious, with plenty of lighting. There is also a mix of bench seating and metal chairs. Business is already relatively booming, but not overly packed, so don't be hesitant to come on down to Crêpe Haven!

Savory crepe and iced lemon tea

My son told me about this new crepe place in Alameda, so we decided to try it. We ordered two savory crepes and a lemon tea, and we both really enjoyed them. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely be back to try the sweet crepes next time. Highly recommend this place!

Sweet sunset - note all the toppings are truly the top -- separated from the ice cream by whipped cream.
    Christina H.

Ordered the classic sweet sunset crepe - Nutella, vanilla ice cream, strawberry, banana, whipped cream, powdered sugar Flavor: 5. Flavor wise, the crepe base was great. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and fine as well. Convenience: 2. My biggest gripe with this place is that they seem to be optimizing for Instagram-worthy photos instead of actual eating experience. I would have expected slices of strawberries and banana to be lining the crepe so you can actually eat a few bites of these while the crepe is in its cone form. Unfortunately not the case -- ALL the toppings except the Nutella are on the top, and the ice cream is just separated on the bottom. So unless you love eating mouthfuls of fruit/whipped cream before eating your plain ice cream, be prepared to get an extra paper tray and deconstruct the whole thing to get more balanced bites. It makes for a messy, fussy dessert experience, which is suboptimal for what I expect to be almost as convenient and as portable as a burrito

    Sunrise Crepe

Quick service. I got the Sunrise Crepe. I really like how they wrapped it; really makes it easy to eat in one hand. I can see this being a place I'd go to get food I can eat while walking or on the move.

The crepe was delicious--perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, but still completely satisfying. Can't wait to try the Crème brûlée!

Took a bite before taking a photo. This is the midnight creme.

Delicious Asian style crepes! I've been craving these and am so happy to find some in Alameda. I tried the Berry Bliss but I inhaled it before I could get a picture. It was delicious! My husband got the midnight creme, which was also delicious! Please support them!

We were going to go get Tuckers ice cream but it was closed and my daughter said "let's go get a crepe" I said crepe? She said "look across the street" I said "oh wow this is new let's go!" And we went it was so clean and every worker was ready to take orders ready to serve. Looks family owned so I love that. The crepes were super delicious and fast service. They have sweet crepes and also savory crepes. They have many much more things to offer. They have tables and bar stools facing the windows.

Matcha ice cream Oreo and crème brûlée topping! Delicious!

The brûlée crepe with Nutella and Vanilla ice cream is absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The only option is street parking, so finding a good spot can be difficult. It is an extremely popular spot, so I'd advise making your reservation weeks ahead of time. Once you're inside, though, it's a great experience. Though gu the shop is small and the tables a bit crowded together, the atmosphere is lovely. The decor is tastefully quaint, and the space is clean and well-lit. The tea service itself is lovely as well. The full tea service, which runs each person $48, includes your pick from a very large variety of teas and sandwiches, including a couple vegetarian options, though I wouldn't call the overall menu vegetarian-friendly. Each table also comes with a little container of sugar cubes and creamer for their tea. This far, all of the sandwiches and teas that I have tried are very good. Each patron gets their own pot of tea instead of one shared pot for the table, which I love. Each set also comes with a scone with clotted cream and jam, a potato canape, and a selection of small desserts. It was more than enough to satisfy me. I really love that they offer both traditional British flavors as well as unique Malaysian flavors in their menu. The desserts also change from time to time, so every experience can feel a little special and new. It gives this spot a unique feel that I haven't yet found elsewhere. Overall, the experience was very positive and I absolutely do recommend it to anyone who has the time and interest. Though $48 is definitely not cheap on the surface, I feel that the unique menu, quantity of food and drink, and general enjoyability of the experience make the price worth it.

Malaya Tea was a very cute place to have a tea party. My friends and I came here on a Sunday…read moreafternoon. There were two other parties there at the time. Even though there was a sign mentioning that it was a small space and asking guests to keep the volume down, that didn't really happen. One of the other parties was an intimate baby shower. My friends and I weren't exactly quiet either, but I think it was because the whole room was fairly lively. There were so many different kinds of tea to choose from. There were six of us, and we all ordered different flavors so we could sample each other's teas. The sandwich selection was also impressive, and our tea towers included a variety of small desserts that were all delicious as well. I chose the Smoked Salmon & Chive Cream Cheese, Cucumber & Dill Cream Cheese, and Coconut Jam (Kaya) with sliced cold butter. The Kaya sandwich was easily my favorite. The desserts were a wonderful addition to the experience, and everyone at the table enjoyed them. I was torn between ordering the Peaches & Cream Black Tea and a green tea. I ended up choosing the Genmaicha with Coconut, and it was delicious. If I come back, I'd definitely like to try the Peaches & Cream Black Tea. As a group, we all agreed that the Kaya sandwich was the standout item. We did have a small hiccup at the beginning because two of our tea orders arrived without tea bags--basically just hot water! We all had a good laugh about it. They were busy, and mistakes happen. The staff was very apologetic and corrected it right away. They even offered us two extra sandwich orders, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a good experience, and I enjoyed my first tea party. However, I do feel that this venue is better suited for a calmer, more intimate gathering, such as a bridal shower or a quiet afternoon tea with close friends. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Anytime someone rang the bell, they came to the table almost immediately. If you're looking for a relaxing tea experience with a small group, this is definitely a place worth trying. For my group of friends, we're a little louder and more energetic, so it almost felt like we were too much for such a peaceful setting. Still, we had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and cozy tea house
