These guys sent a truck out to our elementary school for an event night, and our students, parents and staff loved everything about them. Their Korean barbecued meat is always delicious, and the sweet potato noodles and rice have been perfectly cooked every time I've tried them. Cupbop was so great. I'm 1/4th korean and have grown up eating authentic korean. My grandma is full korean and grew up in Seoul so know what legit korean food is and I thought cupbop was more then amazing. It was so much more then I expected. The food is awesome...there is no debate on that, however, a guy in a pin striped shirt cut in line after seeing some friends. I told him no cuts but was ignored. When he got to the front of the line I told the counter attendant that the guy had cut in line and the guy behind me said the same thing, but with a smile the attendant said this is suppose to be a friendly line, and let the guy order. After waiting in line for over 40 minutes I think that's a bunch of B.S. I walked away without ordering...but they probably don't care with 30 people waiting in line behind me. read more

Woooooooow!!!! The best Korean Food i have ever ATE!!! We love this food truck so much. We travel far to go get our Cupbop fix!! The people are so friendly, they make me feel like I'm their favorite customer every time I go. The food is always fresh and hot. It doesn't matter what meat you get, they are all tender and full of flavor!!!! I get an 8 on the spicy scale, it's great. These guys really know what they are doing, it's worth the drive. Cupbop has one of the biggest lines at the Provo food truck round up, but the food is just okay. My main beef is that they have an awful a lot of ice berg lettuce within the cup, which on isn't good, and two seems only to serve as a filler making the 8 dollar price tag hardly worth it when every thing else is just a-ok. I went there because of a recommendation, and I love trying new food. While it tasted mostly good, the uncleanliness, sloppiness, and poor customer service makes it too unappealing to return. Nobody's food is good enough to ignore doing a good job in those other areas. Moving on! read more

OK, my review isn't based on the quality of the food, which I'm sure is good, but on an experience I had with your truck. Late Saturday night (May 21st), I was getting on the freeway at 114th South. There was a black Toyota truck pulling a CupBop trailer waiting at the light with me. No lights at all on the trailer, so I decided to go around him, I don't like the idea of not knowing when he would be braking. On the freeway, the guy tailgated me from about 106th all the way to 7200 South. I get a little freaked out by things like this, whoever he is, he's a very irresponsible driver. I have an event coming up, and am considering a food truck to cater. Sadly, based on this experience, CupBop will not be considered. read more

About 2 months ago I was introduced to these young men. At first, I was hesitant, food trucks are generally just OK. My expectations were met above and beyond! The guys recommended the Combo, and after I ate one, I had to go back for more! The food is so yummy and the meat is tender! I've since eaten their food 4 times and never have been disappointed. Each time is an awesome experience and they're really nice and friendly to everyone! Great food truck, probably the best in the whole SLC Valley! Writing this AS my buddy AND I are super duper sick.... Ate just a few bites of the combo and knew it wasn't going to go down well... I hated the taste and could not get the soggy gloop down.... Very reasonably priced food truck. I took it in at the Cottonwood Heights food truck Monday event. The food is very good, and served up fresh and fast. They also spice to order, on a sliding scale from 1-10. (Although, if you're a complete wuss like my mother, they'll make a 0 if you ask). So even if you don't order the "Hot Bop" BBQ, you can definitely get one made hot. I've tried two combos here this summer, both with pork and beef. The first one was spiced to a 7, and it was good but I felt like I could go hotter. This time I tried a 9. The nice blonde woman making it told me, "Oh we'll make sure this one is hot enough". I think she took it as a challenge, because the angry red dish she gave me was definitely an improvement over last week's 7. It was delicious, but very much an authentic Korean food experience at least as far as the spice is concerned. My face is bright red, there's sweat pouring out of me, and I'm pretty sure I just talked to the devil. (He looks like Abe Vigoda and wants me to check out Donald Trump's presidential platform). Anyway, I'm saving half of this for later, both because it tastes fantastic and so I can find out the going rate on souls. Try the Mondoos also, they're a bit like Korean potstickers. Just little wrapped up pieces of joy, which you can also have spiced up to quasi-religious experience levels. read more

My girlfriend and I ordered the chicken and both thought that it tasted, smelled and looked more like tuna fish from a can than actual chicken. Cup bob makes incredible mondu which is their version of potstickers. I'll also a sucker for the noodles. The meat is the only reason that I have such a low score. The first time I had Cupbob, the meat was crisp yet chewy and oh-so-yummy. However, the last two times I've had it, it's tasted more like canned chicken dumped over rice which isn't quite what I had in mind for the evening. They would do MUCH better with a little higher quality meat. read more

Tracked down the truck recently to try it after reading all the great reviews. Got the combo, but unfortunately they had run out of chicken so didn't get to try that. But the beef and pork with noodles was delicious! I got it mild because I'm not a fan of spicy, and it was just right. I can't wait until I can eat their food again! When the new location opened in Fashion Place, a few employees from Cupbop went around to the different stores with menu fliers. They told us that if we brought them in, they would give a complimentary order of an appetizer or a discount. Surprise surprise, that was a lie and I was told at the location that they were not doing that. Okay, fine, whatever. Fast forward to when the workers have prepped my meal, and then give it to someone else. When I arrive at the register to pay, they realized their mistake, and instead of making me a new one, they simply went over to the other family, grabbed the meal, and brought it to me. Thanks, I love having someone else's food given to me; who cares if they didn't open it, make me a new one after you screw up. Food was eh. Totally disappointing experience. Don't bother going; go get real bibimbap at a legit Korean place. Service is absolute garbage, and by proxy, obviously so is management. read more
