Two Meat plate with teriyaki chicken and Kalua pork
Donavon D.

Good Grindz? More like Great Grindz! The Teri chicken and Kalua pork were excellent. Excited to have a delicious, healthy protein based option in Salem that reminds us of the years we lived in Hawaii.

Katsu Chicken...YUMMY!!!

The Katzu was really good. I enjoyed the curry though my brother preferred the traditional sauce.

Good food made while you wait. Lots better than other Hawaiian restaurants where the food has been sitting for who knows how long

My coworkers and I stopped in a little before noon on a Thursday because my friend had highly…read morerecommended it. We were supposed to go to Mollys down the street but it was closed so I figured it was a good time to stop in since it's next door. All the tables were full so I took that as a good sign. Two of us got the daily special which was pork ribs that came with two sides and a drink. My coworker got his first and the very nice lady preparing our food just KEPT ON adding meat to the plate. Like so many ribs. I got rice and Mac salad with mine and I kinda wished I had gotten the noodles instead of the rice, they looked really good on my coworkers plate. It was pricey BUT I definitely only ate half my plate so it's basically two meals. Best Mac salad I've had, so creamy and peppery. And the ribs... you guys. Go on Thursday and get the daily special. They were crazy. Vibes were so good, the lady helping us was so nice. We have been weekly Mollys goers but I think this will be a frequent addition into our rotation. Everything looks very tasty, and I saw that Garlic Shrimp was the Friday special I did hear though that once they sell out they are out for the day. Obviously not an issue when we went a half hour after they opened - but the crowd was building the closer to noon we got.

If I could give over five stars I would. This restaurant exceeded expectations and it was…read morefantastic. The lady who I assume is the owner was extremely kind and gave us recommendations and samples and the food was fresh and delicious. I got the barbecue teriyaki chicken big plate which is the most popular along with the rainbow Hawaiian drink which is a mix of mango, coconut, and watermelon. The vibe of the restaurant was also very Hawaiian and nice. I would definitely go back and recommend this place.

Service was great, ambience fun (live band). But let's be honest that's not why you are here, you…read moreare here for the food. And the food is phenomenal. Real authentic Hawaiian bbq good enough to slap your momma. Run, don't walk to the register to order the sinfully delicious garlic shrimp. Let me say that again, if you want an "eyes rolling in the back of your head" moment this is your protein choice. But she's not the only dish to surely satisfy the needs of your tastebuds. Garlic chicken, perfect. It's fried to crispy perfection then covered in garlic sauce done right. Chicken Katsu, amazing (although what chicken Katsu isn't?!?). If you go on a Friday you can't go wrong with the beef short ribs an absolute stud of a protein/meat choice. Yum freaking yum. Let us not forget the sides, the supporting characters that can make the difference between a good show and an epic one. Their Mac salad contains imitation crab giving it that extra something and pushing it above those "other guys". Rice is rice, good job. For the more adventurous than the typical Utahn palette try that cucumber cup, spicy? Yes. Crunchy? Yes. Good? Yes.

Auntys is by the far the best Hawaiian food in the valley. It's fresh and so flavorful. We've been…read moreback countless times and it never disappoints. I love the teriyaki chicken, teriyaki steak, and garlic chicken. Can't recommend it enough!
