Aunty's Hawaiian Kitchen was packed when we got there. It seemed to be a very popular place. Their food was really good. I was not a fan of their teriyaki sauce. Also, the employee was really nice. However, management should consider giving people a number when they order to put at their table. We were brought the wrong food three times since we got mixed up with other people.

Everything on Aunty' Hawaiian Kitchen menu is amazing, but my personal favorites are the Garlic Chicken and the Kalbi Short Ribs -- both are so flavorful and perfectly cooked! If you go on a Tuesday or Friday, you'll get to enjoy live music, which totally adds to the chill island vibes and makes the whole experience even better. The plates are huge (come hungry!), and yeah, it can get a little crowded sometimes, but they're super quick at getting food out. If you're craving authentic Hawaiian food and a true taste of aloha, this is the spot.

My husband brought home a plate of their garlic chicken and garlics shrimp. I admit, I judge the looks a little bit. But as soon as I took a bite of the chicken, I was HOOKED!!! It's now my favorite place to eat. Way better than Mo-bettahs. Sorry mobettahs. lol! We went to visit the location in Herriman a few days ago and I got the same garlic chicken plate. Never disappointed. The food and meat is packed on. Plates have a hefty portion and great for the big eaters. The staff was welcoming, smiled, and interacted with customers. It was just a nice environment and first time experience for me. Very relaxing with or without the rush hour crowds. I highly recommend going here if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed. Just writing this review and posting the pictures makes me want to make the drive back over and get me a plate.

4.5 Hana Hou! You'll be saying that after you dine in on a Friday night and get these good Grindz! Garlic chicken is good stuff. The Teri chicken tastes fresh off the grill. Loved the Mac salad with crab bits and its sweetness. So nice to have furikake and sauces on tap! Ps. Don't miss the guava lemonade-'ono! Looking for a date night with live music? Look no further! Amazing musicians

Another 5 star review! Aunty's always delivers on flavor and deliciousness! If you haven't tried it yet, RUN DON'T WALK! We've tried everything on the menu now and it never fails to come out amazing!

We love this place. Takes us back home with every bite. We did family style and shared. That last picture was our leftovers, our plates were packed, choke food! Aunties husband uncle came out to check on us and he walked and talked with each table. Very welcoming with real aloha!

Nice Hawaiian spot with friendly service! They always have musubi ready to go and they have a variety of li hing mui candy as well. Yummy

Regular plate with kalbi short ribs and katsu chicken. Yessahhhh

Best Hawaiian BBQ in the valley. Great friendly service and plates are usually topped off unlike Mo Bettahs. And the food taste authentic. I had the short ribs and katsu chicken with Mac and rice.

Honestly some of the best poly food in the valley. I just got back from Hawaii and it's right there with Helena's. They gave me extra in my DoorDash order last night just because. 10/10 recommend.

Was excited to try this place. It's Wednesday 1/18/2023 at 5:30pm and it's closed. Is this place still open? Disappointed.

Yes it is. They're closed this week. For family event.

The food was fresh, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and I left feeling completely satisfied. What I Loved Spam Musubi: I happened to go on a Monday and scored the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal, which was such a win. The rice was packed just right, and that sweet-salty glaze on the spam was exactly what I was craving. The BBQ Combo: I went for the Kalbi short ribs and BBQ chicken. The ribs had a beautiful char and were super tender, while the chicken was juicy and well-marinated. You really can't beat those massive scoops of white rice and that creamy macaroni salad on the side. Island Fire Chicken: I also tried the spicy chicken, and it had a great kick! It was spicy enough to be exciting but didn't mask the actual flavor of the meat. The value here is hard to beat, especially with the Monday musubi deal. It felt like a massive, hearty treat, and it's definitely going into my regular rotation for a solid plate lunch.

I was greeted enthusiastically by the person behind the counter, who looked like he might be the owner of the place. I ordered the mini meal-whose name is deceptive. It still was plenty for me, plus I had a lot left to take home for a second meal. The teriyaki chicken was flavorful and moist, with an extra side of teriyaki sauce. I'm glad to have stumbled on this place and look forward to returning. Mahalo and aloha!

My favorite is the garlic sauce ( But I am including a picture of the pineapple jalapeño bbq tofu which is also good just too spicy for me- to show portion sizes and how pretty the presentation is.) I have only been in once where my order was made with the wrong sauce, other than that it has been perfect every time. I wanted to share about a particularly great experience I had this week. I came in for dinner, and didn't realize it was 12 min from closing since I forgot it was daylight savings! I was ready to leave, but the employee there was so nice and insisted on taking my order. There was also someone at the drive through, and a couple that came in at the same time. I realized this employee was by herself when she went to the back and put together everyone's orders herself. I was so grateful for the stellar service despite being understaffed and about to close, and the food was extra delicious that night.

We are originally from Hawaii and for a place portraying Hawaiian/Polynesian food and culture we sure didn't feel the "Aloha Spirit". Their customer service was severely lacking! Then the food - we ordered the 2 meat combo plate with the garlic chicken and kalua pig, rice, mac, and sapa sui. Also, the Katsu with fries, guava cake, and mango otai. The otai and the guava cake were decent. The Katsu was cooked well, but lacked crunch. The garlic chicken and kalua pig were so dry and tasted bland. The Mac salad lacked flavor also, the sapa sui was just okay. Overall, just super disappointed in the food. We've heard about them through reels claiming they were really good. We always try to support local, especially the poly community here in Utah but our experience just wasn't the greatest. They claim to be serving "island love" but we just didn't feel it, if you decide to try them, hopefully you have a better experience.
