My coworkers and I stopped in a little before noon on a Thursday because my friend had highly recommended it. We were supposed to go to Mollys down the street but it was closed so I figured it was a good time to stop in since it's next door. All the tables were full so I took that as a good sign. Two of us got the daily special which was pork ribs that came with two sides and a drink. My coworker got his first and the very nice lady preparing our food just KEPT ON adding meat to the plate. Like so many ribs. I got rice and Mac salad with mine and I kinda wished I had gotten the noodles instead of the rice, they looked really good on my coworkers plate. It was pricey BUT I definitely only ate half my plate so it's basically two meals. Best Mac salad I've had, so creamy and peppery. And the ribs... you guys. Go on Thursday and get the daily special. They were crazy. Vibes were so good, the lady helping us was so nice. We have been weekly Mollys goers but I think this will be a frequent addition into our rotation. Everything looks very tasty, and I saw that Garlic Shrimp was the Friday special I did hear though that once they sell out they are out for the day. Obviously not an issue when we went a half hour after they opened - but the crowd was building the closer to noon we got. read more

If I could give over five stars I would. This restaurant exceeded expectations and it was fantastic. The lady who I assume is the owner was extremely kind and gave us recommendations and samples and the food was fresh and delicious. I got the barbecue teriyaki chicken big plate which is the most popular along with the rainbow Hawaiian drink which is a mix of mango, coconut, and watermelon. The vibe of the restaurant was also very Hawaiian and nice. I would definitely go back and recommend this place. read more

This is a place where we can get a taste of Hawaii! Bringing some delicious recipes and food foods here to the restaurant. Service is amazing. The people are absolutely positive and fun and great environment is welcoming and very family friendly. One thing to know is that the menu changes every single day for specials that they have. It's worth it to come on any day. I have yet to try the pokey, but based on everything else I've eaten so far it's amazing. I don't always give places a 10/10 but this place is a 10 out of 10. read more

Short and simple review: BOMB food, amazing customer service and the vibe in that place makes you feel like you're in Hawaii. Love it and highly recommend read more

I think it really depends on what you get here as to your experience with the food. Everyone in our party (of ten) that got the special was disappointed, whereas everyone who got the Katsu chicken, or the beef was raving about it. It's a really small place but it wasn't crowded on a Friday early afternoon. The staff were all super friendly. I would stick with what they do well if you want the best chance at being happy! read more

Best Hawaiian food I've ever had. To be fair, I've only been to Hawaii as a tourist, but this is seriously insanely good even compared to what I ate there. Everything I've tried so far has been super flavorful and left me feeling ready for a food coma. The staff are welcoming and inviting. It's a shame that they're only open for such limited hours because otherwise I would be going way more often! read more

Convenient parking out front. Amazing island vibes. I lived in Fiji and this place does the most authentic Fiji meal on Fridays. This place is AWESOME. Huge portions, fair price, delicious food, all the options, great service, daily specials, what more do you want? Their chicken katsu is really special, they cut th chicken before they bread it, so ALL the sides are covered in breading. Their smoked BBQ ribs (only on Thursdays) are sooooooo good. Tender, sweet, smoky, absolutely amazing ribs. There are a lot of Hawaiian places around, but this is now my go-to. Don't go to Mo Bettahs, come here. read more

The people here were so friendly and nice and it pains me to give them a 2 star rating. Service was fantastic, but the food was not. There was too much teriyaki sauce on everything, it was overwhelming. I guess they put even extra on when they serve you... I could have done without. The noodles were saturated and the rice as well, so much that I barely touched them. The teriyaki chicken was ok but didn't taste very barbecued. The chicken katsu was average, but definitely didn't need that much sauce. I normally fight over my Mac salad but this one I couldn't even eat. It was about 50 percent mayo- yuck. This is coming from someone who is pretty heavy handed with the mayo herself. Orders were accurate and quick, but someone needs to tone it down on the sauce and mayo here. read more

Sweets is my new Hawaiian BBQ spot! If you haven't tried them out, you should. If you need a little incentive, you can try looking them up on Hooked Deals. As soon as you step inside Sweets, it is almost as if you are transported to Hawaii. The music, the decor, and the vibe is so calming and there is part of me that wants to set up a tent there and live there part time! The first time we went, we built our own 3 meat and 2 meat plates. We tried the garlic chicken (which was the special of the day) and the teriyaki chicken in one order and the kalbi ribs, kalua pork, and the katsu chicken in the other order, all with rice, noodles, and Mac salad. While all of the meats were tasty, we recommend the kalbi ribs, which were a little hard to eat but insanely good, and the kalua pork, which had the perfect flavor and was sooo tender. the Mac salad was the best we've had! It has a garlicky flavor that we couldn't get enough of! We have been back multiple times, but we had to be sure to go on a Saturday so we could try their poke- OH MY GOSH. This is some of the best poke in Utah without a doubt! So fresh, and you can choose between shoyu and their spicy Mayo. I'd recommend half and half. There is no skimping on the tuna, they pile it on which I appreciate! Don't skip their Otai drinks, we have tried multiple flavors and we are in love with them all. Can you tell we love this place?! read more

Customer Service: 9/10 Everyone at Sweet's is SO kind! It's a friendly, home-y environment and they are super helpful in explaining the menu and giving recommendations. If you are looking for homestyle Hawaiian food in Utah County, Sweet's is the place for you! Environment: 7/10 The dining room itself is pretty dark, which we don't love, and they only have a few tables to ensure social distancing is possible in the restaurant. Sweet's is located behind the D.I. in Provo, close to Utah Valley Hospital. They have plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Menu: 8/10 They have their menu laid out pretty simple at Sweet's! They have multiple options for plate lunches, and there are regular and mini sizes. They also have daily specials Monday-Saturday! Their Saturday special is their poké bowl and it is their most popular special. They sell out of poké before 2 pm every Saturday! If you like poké you definitely need to go try it. Price: 8.5/10 You definitely get a ton of food at Sweet's! Their Sweet's plate is $9.50 and it comes with a lot of food, and a lot of meat! The poké bowl is $12.50 and they put a TON of poké on there and it is so fresh. This will definitely fill you up, but you could totally share these meals between family members/friends as well. Taste: 8/10 We got Sweet's plate lunch which is their most popular plate! It comes with kalua pork and teriyaki BBQ chicken, rice and/or noodles and either a mac salad or pineapple salad. We also got their poké bowl with both their sweet poké and the spicy poké. We liked the spicy poké best! It's made with a really yummy spicy mayo. The pork and BBQ chicken were both cooked really well and we liked their mac salad a lot! They have a lot of drink options, but we loved the Otai! We got it mixed, so mango and coconut and it was really yummy! (insert heart eyes) OVERALL: 8.1/10 read more

First time coming to this restaurant and it was delicious! The workers were very friendly and conversational and tried their best to make good recommendations for us. Don't forget to check in on yelp when you come here! They offer a nice little otai for you that will save you 5 dollars! I ordered the sweets special and it came with very large portions of teriyaki chicken and kalua pig. The teriyaki chicken was alright but the star of the meal was definitely the kalua pig. I loved the kalua pig because it was very moist and flavorful but it wasn't too salty either unlike many other Hawaiian restaurants around here. Would definitely come back again! read more

When I visit Sweet's in Provo we think of modern day Moana - lots of aloha and ohana. This family owned business is so kind and they work so hard to bring quality food and customer service! Not only do they sell amazing food, Kaivai iava drinks, and pretty leis, they also deliver amazing otai in different flavors!⁣ ⁣ Don't know what otai is? It is a drink of a mixed fruit, typically made with coconut milk or cream. The flavor combinations are endless, like this new flavor Sweet's made: "Icey Lava" pineapple mixed with coconut milk and li hing mui. This is ono! I can't wait to try their mango otai! ⁣ Their meat is also out of this world! I love the kalbi ribs, and the kalua pork! The sauce is a bit sweeter, which is amazing! Perfect with the rice. I can't wait to also their poke! This is a must try place in Provo! So so yummy!!! ⁣ read more

Me my nephew and pops was in the area so we decided to break our intermittent fasting with some Poly food. So here we are backed into the parking stall infront of the establishment. Let's go Aight so it's pandemic style eating you can go in and order but you can't dine in but it's nice and clean in there with the tables all put away stuff like that. The artwork is cool and the wall of pictures with a lot of palangis (and other nationalities) is dope as well. Satisfied customers I presume. Well anyway, the food: I liked the flavors of the garlic and teriyaki chicken also the kalbi ribs were probably the biggest I've had those things were massive (for short ribs) They have a otai niu (coconut otai (otai is a Tongan fruit drink usually made with mango or watermelon but here they offer mango, coconut or a mix of mango and watermelon I think) it's hella good The otai niu remind me of sweet vai topai (sweet dumplings with coconut milk/sauce) it's so good I wish they had a larger size cuz it was hot yesterday and that thing saved me So I'm throwing 2 stars cuz idk if they charge extra for a scoop of Mac salad or if you just get rice but those things didn't have the creamy Mac salad I could've used to cut down on that rice consumption I mean it was coo having a lot of rice but ya boy need the cool smooth mayonnaisy (it's a word now) component from the Mac salad to make that bit complete 1 Star (my cousins name is Star) for the price to portion/size ratio whatever. I was looking at those small plates thinking to myself, "this is not what L&L's in West Valley died for" but I had to look like I was stimulus package rich cuz I just got paid but anyway I'm throw em 2 stars to bring it up to 5 next time I go cuz I'm ordering that otai niu inna a Super Big Gulp cup (the only way I drink otai) Thanks for watching! Best Hawaiian in Provo. Some of the best in the state. Spirit of Aloha is strong here, you'll feel like family, and it feels so much like being in the islands, you'll be confused when you walk outside and it's Utah. I eat here regularly, it's one of my go-tos. read more

I came in on a Saturday an hour before they closed and they had nothing but poke bowls and garlic noodles left. So I'm assuming they cook nothing fresh to order. The food was ono, yummy, but what is even better than the quality of the food, is the quality of the people who run this restaurant. I called them one day last week just shortly before closing (I didn't realize they close at 4) and explained that I was wanting to drop off food for family who had a baby in the hospital and some hawaiian fare would be comfort food to them. Unfortunately, they were sold out of many selections, but they were somehow able to assemble a family meal. The extra effort and kindness they showed was so much appreciated. Mahalo Sweet's - we will absolutely be back. read more
