This place always has me coming back. There are always so many options on the menu, every one of them i've tried being really good! The atmosphere has always been really good, nice employees and clean tables, etc. And their musubi Mondays? It's a buy one get one free for their two piece musubis. They're huge compared to the musubis at Mo Bettahs for reference. And they're just as good! Fantastic price for Musubi especially at that size! If you want good Hawaiian food at a decent price, I would recommend this place! Especially if you want Musubis on a Monday. read more

I went in to order takeout and sat there for 10 minutes and only saw one lady in the kitchen. There were people in front of me that have been waiting longer than me so I just left. This also happened at the American Fork red Fuego, where there was one guy manning the entire restaurant and it took forever to get our food. I don't think I'm going there again. read more

Nice, bright strip mall restaurant. Enjoyed the Hawaiian decor. Nice people, and good food. I had the spam musubi, which happens to be one of my favorite Hawaiian tastes. It was fresh and very good. The service here was great. Having never been here before, the cashier was really helpful in offering suggestions. That being said, my partner and I got an order of the spam musubi, a "Mini Meal" with the Kalua Pig, the "Two-Meat Mix" with the Island Fire Chicken and Hawaiian BBQ Beef, and the Guava Cake. The Kalua Pork was actually really good! It had good flavor without being as overwhelming as other hawaiian places. The guava cake was also really nice. It was light and not too sweet! The Island Fire Chicken and Hawaiian BBQ Beef both had amazing flavor, but they had the texture of undercooked meat which ruined the experience for me. The Spam Musubi was ok but the seaweed wrap was too strong compared to the flavor of the spam which made it taste weird. The only other complaint I have is that they didn't have music playing. It was very quiet and I could clearly hear the conversations that the people around me were having. All that being said, I would be willing to come back if these things were addressed. read more

This is the best Hawaiian style food in Utah. I love the garlic chicken and the teriyaki beef.

Upon entering there's a slightly unpleasant smell imo. It was slightly distracting but I still ordered. It helps to know wheat you want as the menu is very wordy and you can get lost at all the options. Food was great. Highly recommend chicken katsu. The sauce is nice as well not too. I'd definitely go back. Place seemed clean and there's plenty of tables. read more

This wasn't the worst experience we've had, but it's far from the best. The portions are generous, but the flavors didn't stand out--it's the same fare you'd find at most other places that label themselves as Hawaiian. I wish there were something to set this spot apart. Maybe try cooking the chicken over coals or wood, making house-made sauces, or offering something unique like taro root dishes. It all feels a bit too familiar. Even the drinks are the standard canned options. If this is a Hawaiian restaurant, where are the island-inspired juices that evoke a taste of home? The food has so much potential, but right now, it's just disappointing. That said, the service was fine. They answered my questions and brought the food promptly. No complaints there. As for the atmosphere, I wish there had been some island music to enhance the experience. Whatever was playing sounded more like Spanish music--not what I'd expect in a Hawaiian setting. Some authentic tunes could really help set the mood. Will we come back? Probably not. There are other local Hawaiian spots we'll support first. Until they make some changes to stand out, it's hard to see ourselves returning. read more

So first of all, I need to say the staff are wonderful. They are kind, respectful, and very timely. Now, the food. The food is... acceptable. If we were to compare this to Mo'Bettahs however, LoLo honestly wouldn't stand a chance. Truthfully, if you want to go here, just head to Mo'Bettahs instead. What brings LoLo up is the greater menu variety, the (slightly) lower prices, and the reggae music. I got the Loco Moco plate, and it was pretty good. Except the rice had old crunchy grains throughout, and the mac salad is firmer than I would like. Truthfully, Mo'Bettahs is just better. Although there aren't as many options, the food I saw most people eating was also available at Mo'Bettahs. I wouldn't necessarily recommend, but come try it if you want a decent meal with good music and kind service. read more

I was excited to try this place in Orem- I ordered the Seafood plate w/ Pork, and a mini BBQ Beef plate. As an island girl the food/taste was so disappointing that I trashed it. The pork was the driest kalua I ever had...not a drop of juice in the meat and it lacked seasoning, like zero! The Macaroni in the Mac salad needed to be cooked a few minutes longer. What a horrible way to open a business. I've tried ordering delivery from this place multiple times, excited to try. I placed a delivery order HOURS before they close and I kept getting strung along with delay messages for HOURS until the store finally closed and they then cancelled my order.
