I wasn't a fan of the teri sauce and the beef and katsu chicken were served cold. The mac and cheese had a chunky texture that i wasn't a fan of. Service was good for one employee working, but he wasn't the friendliest to us... a guy who came in after us must have been a friend because he wasn't very attentive to him asking if he needs anything else frequently. It was clean inside and the world cup was playing which was nice. I usually prefer the local spots, but wouldn't recommend this one. If you're craving good Hawaiian Mo Bettahs is the way to go.

We were supposed to go to Mollys down the street but it was closed so I figured it was a good time to stop in since it's next door. All the tables were full so I took that as a good sign. Two of us got the daily special which was pork ribs that came with two sides and a drink. My coworker got his first and the very nice lady preparing our food just KEPT ON adding meat to the plate. Like so many ribs. I got rice and Mac salad with mine and I kinda wished I had gotten the noodles instead of the rice, they looked really good on my coworkers plate. It was pricey BUT I definitely only ate half my plate so it's basically two meals. Best Mac salad I've had, so creamy and peppery. And the ribs... you guys. Go on Thursday and get the daily special. They were crazy. Vibes were so good, the lady helping us was so nice. We have been weekly Mollys goers but I think this will be a frequent addition into our rotation. Everything looks very tasty, and I saw that Garlic Shrimp was the Friday special I did hear though that once they sell out they are out for the day. Obviously not an issue when we went a half hour after they opened - but the crowd was building the closer to noon we got.

We have been going to Mo' Bettahs for years now. But the Provo location is disappointing. I've gone…read moreseveral times where I've asked for a sauce other than teriyaki. And what comes in my meal? Not what I asked for, just teriyaki. Seems like a waste of time to ask me what sauce I'd like if you won't give me what I asked for. Today we decided to try going into this location. I have always only done the drive thru. Figured let's go in and sit down and eat like all the other places with the kids. But heads up, they only have outside dining. Which makes it a pain like today with the large amount of ash coming down from the local fires. Now when we ordered the food, my wife asked if they had POG juice, they said they did. She got a large and asked if they did refills to which the girl said yes. I went and ordered my food, asked for spicy mayo, then went to ask for a drink as well and she had skipped ahead to the payment portion before letting me finish. She went back after I told her I wasn't done with my order and would like a drink as well. Well we got the food. No spicy mayo, just teriyaki sauce again. We drank our drinks and my wife went in to get a refill of our POG drinks, to be told that the refills cost unless we did soda. A bit misleading if anything. With all this said, I'm giving this place a 2/5. I'd like to give it a 1/5 but the food is decent most of the time. But the lack of professional, customer service, and ability to follow through with getting orders rights over several visits, I've come to the conclusion with my wife that we will no longer go to this location. Which is a shame. Never thought I'd come to that conclusion with name we have come to enjoy.

The gravy for the loco moco was packet prepped seasoned with plenty of garlic. The Mac salad also had plenty of garlic. We asked for haupia cake but they did not have any. Hope this review can help Good Grindz evaluate some minor suggestions.
