I'm honestly surprised to see such a low overall rating here. We stayed three nights at the hotel next door and ended up coming here four times. Every time we visited, the staff were friendly and welcoming. On our first visit, it was windy and raining outside, and I was carrying a lot of things. One of the staff members even came out to open the door for me, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The food is fresh and tastes good. For fast food at this price point, it's definitely more than good enough. I especially loved their sundae! read more

I had the chicken tenders, which are my go-to at Culver's. I always, always get it with the cheese sauce on the side, because they just go so well together. Your typical Culver's but I hadn't had it for a while and it was very good tonight. This is actually the location that my parents go to but the closest location to me is Madison Heights. My boyfriend and I both got the mushroom and Swiss burger, it was as good as I had remembered it to be but very greasy. The combo is only about $8 or $10 if you get an upgraded side like we did. I got the pretzel bites and he ordered the cheese curds. I'm not sure I've ever tried their cheese curds before and they were very good. I also had a coupon for a free medium Concrete when you get a value basket so we got a Concrete with Reese's and brownie pieces mixed in. This Culver's location was very clean as well, and the bathroom was too. We weren't sure if they were open for dine-in but a few people were inside and I hate cold fast food takeout so dine-in was definitely preferable. I would return to this location again when in the area. I'm also pretty sure they make their own root beer and it was tasty. read more

I am truly impressed with this Culvers! I went here and for the first time I saw someone from Culvers outside directing the drive thru line. A nice young man gave us instruction, if we knew what to order to go in a separate line, and if you didn't know what to order then you go through the normal drive thru. He wasn't very specific with us, he told us "follow that car" and the car went through the normal drive thru line. When we passed the line then we understood but at that point it was too late. Either way the one only took about 10 minutes which is scary fast for Culvers. I ordered a feast for myself, because why not? I ordered the butterburger with cheese as a meal, so I got cheese curds as a side and instead of a drink I got the mini mixer. I was amazed that instead of a drink I could get a mixer (which is like a blizzard) with cookie dough and brownie. The mixer was the perfect size and the food was fresh and amazing as always. I also get the grilled cheese too if I'm really trying to feast because that buttered bread and American cheese is just way too good. Overall, I'm impressed with this location. This was our first visit. I must admit we tried it out as it was nearby and since we received a mailer with coupons. Who doesn't love a coupon to give you more value for your dollar! As one enters, we placed our order at the counter. You're given a plastic placard with a number. A server brings your food to your table. Drinks are self serve and refills are complimentary. They also have shakes, malts, and custard( yogurt). Love that they play "oldies" music. Culver's offers a very relaxed and cozy environment, different from the typical fast food experience. We ordered the North Atlantic Cod value basket. It came with a fresh filet of fish, flaky and tender. It would be even tastier with more tartar sauce as it didn't have a strong fish flavor (or smell). It was on a tasty butter bun. The fries are crinkle cut and fresh, slightly on the saltier side. We discovered afterwards that one has a choice of different sides! Next time we will try a different side! What I especially love is that Culver's is considerate of those with food allergies. They have a nutritional and food allergen guide to inform customers of ingredients, common food allergens and possible cross contaminants. We will look forward to coming back to Culver's. absolutely not. this culver's was the worst one i have been too. the building inside smelt like actual toilet. the cheese curds were melted all over. the chicken strips were rubber, and my son antonio choked and had to go to the er. my ex-husband was there who had another affair on his other wife with the manager. the toilets were flooded. the whole place had dirt everywhere. the manager hit a kid in the knees and she went to jail. the cashier gave us 14 cups. never ever coming here again. thank you for your service read more

This is our go to spot in the area. A must after a stop at Menards. Kudos to whoever hires and trains staff here. They are the hardest working and friendliest people we've ever encountered. Sooo sad to report the burger was thinner and drier and the bun was not buttered. The whole reason I went was for the buttered bun. Most of the time I don't eat the bun so this was supposed to be a delicious treat. NOT!!! The worse offense was the chicken strips the texture of the chicken was mushed like a processed nugget although it looked like chicken. The mystery strips are a definite avoid. We used to come here quite frequently a few years ago when it first opened. It was a good detour from the normal path to fast food. It also used to be immaculately cleaned and the employees were held at a high level of customer service. In my last few visits two the salad dressing I received was spoiled and I didn't know until I got it home. Both times. People are no longer as friendly and it's not as well kept as it used to be. I'm giving it another chance today by picking up carry out for a family member because I still can't eat here after those two times. First time here! I ordered and paid online and it was very easy. The order was for 5 people: 1 deluxe burger, 2 cod meals, and chicken tenders. Each of the meals came with two classic sides or you can upgrade (pay extra) for a premium side. When you order online, you can remove some items, such as tomato or cheese, and get a price deduction (i.e. -20 if you choose no tomatoes). I arrived about 5 minutes before my pick up time and had to wait a total of 15 minutes. The order confirmation email said, "once you walk inside the restaurant, please look for designated Carryout signage" but there is no such thing. So I went up to the counter as though I was placing an order to check-in. I stood to the side and watched the employees pack orders and get orders onto a tray to take to the patrons dining in. While I waited, several employees asked if I have been helped. That was nice. The place seemed like they were well staffed. I am not sure what the mask policy is for them because more than half of the people working had their mask on their chin. Some employees were wearing plastic gloves. I noticed three employees who were wearing gloves touch their hair, mask, itched their head and nose (with their mask down!) AND then proceeded to touch the food. That is not okay. The food itself was fresh and good. The fried stuff would probably be even better when enjoyed at the restaurant as it would be hot and crispy. read more

The double cheddar burger was a 10/10. Best place to get a fast food burger hands down! The chicken tenders were also very good. We also ordered a grilled chicken salad which was so fresh. The chicken actually tasted freshly cooked rather than other fast food places where it is cold by the time you get home. The chili is thick and good, could use a little spice to it or hot sauce. The chicken noodle soup also has thick noodles and good option. This location always has long lines and they make you pull forward to wait for your order, so keep that in mind as it took a bit longer than other fast food chains. I have always loved Culver's for their hot and fresh food. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich basket, clarifying twice that I wanted the spicy one. They still gave me the crispy one with no spice. Paid $9.53 to be disappointed. The fries are always good, and you can't go wrong with the drinks of course, but I only come for the spicy chicken and to not end up getting it is a bummer. The chicken had somewhat of a different taste but the real problem was that it was pretty rubbery. In addition, there were some pieces that were very gristle-ey. I travel several times a week going by the Wixom location, so I order from the drive through. This week, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich w a gluten free bun. The chicken was dry and overcooked. One side was over grilled so much I had to peel it off just to eat it. No condiments were added so can I say DRY again. Another time I asked for a single burger w a gluten free bun. Customer service and the food was ok compared to the Birchrun location, which I gave 5 stars. Very much disappointed when we found out that our take out order was not complete with fries. We had to leave Kensington Metropark and go back to this location for the fries and free scoop of the frozen custard(register your mobile number to get the freebie with purchase). As for the custard, we were told we can only get the flavor of the day. For me, chicken was not crispy and savory. You pay extra $1.50 if you want all meat for a 2-pc chicken dinner. Because it was put inside a styro while hot, the chicken lost its crisp skin. The pot roast beef needs extra salt and pepper to taste. For mashed potato, you can ask for the gravy on the side. My husband liked the green beans with white onions on the side. For the drink, the CULVERS root beer is recommended. I find their drink thick and sweet. The staple food that saved the day was the crinkle cut fries. Liked the texture. Crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. I hope when I come back, the chicken will be fried to deliciousness! When washing your hands, you'll feel the water from the sink a bit warm. The restroom needs to be checked regularly for toilet paper and napkins all over the place. Today At 3pm, this location is off peak. When we came back at 6-7pm, wow the restaurant was crowded with parents and kids who probably just finished a game of baseball. Good tip...if you order take-outs, check your bag before you leave. If something is missing, call them prior to going back and bring your receipt as proof of purchase. And stick to eating burger ;-) read more

Last summer was the first time I had ever tried a Culver's cement mixer, and I was hooked after that. Although I don't get them often, I was in the mood for one after a 60 degree day in late February. This location is easy to get too from the freeway and has plenty of parking. The drive thru looked busy so we walked inside. The place was clean, our order didn't take longer than a few minutes. We were hanging out near the back counter to stay out of the way and the staff brought our mixers right too us. My hubby got the salted caramel with Heath added, and I got a caramel and Snickers mixer. I always get the mini, he got a small. Anything bigger is just too much to eat! read more

But you only ordered a kids meal, drink, and some cheese curds, your natural reaction would be "No, I didn't order an extra fry" Be careful, because that apparently means the fry in your child's meal, and after waiting in line that literally wrapped around the building and out of the parking lot, we weren't going back. I am not usually a fast food person but must say I love all the food at Culver's but especially fond of the Double Cheddar Bacon cheeseburger and they have great fantastic dessert options. The service was fast and the staff was friendly and the prices were good. I am convinced you can't go wrong eating at Culver's. Wish I had one in my town. Try them out sometime. Mom and I went to Culver's On New Year's Day around 5pm. My first time! Anyhoot, the burgers were just a wee bit greasy (said my mom since she goes to the Culver's in Westland) but, my point of this post is to say that the customer service was top notch. The food runner was incredibly pleasant and as we were leaving, wished us a nice holiday with a smile. I mean, I work in customer service and I felt so special! Nice to experience that! read more
