NOW, you know I'm a sammy person so I'll always be brutally honest -- this spot, hit the spot. They know what they're doing over here at Penn. you got all the deli's to choose from, a variety of toppings, and i absolutely love that their bread isn't too.... bread-y. Top whatever you get off with some salt+pepper and vinegar/oil. I came on a Tues, came right back on Wednesday for dinner. Service was excellent. I did take out each time, but there's plenty of seating available if you just can't wait to dig in! read more

Walked in around 2pm today. Waited at counter for several minutes while two employees gabbed in the back and one was sweeping the seating area. Noticed disgusting g food all over the floors and raw meat on a scale right next to the cash register. Health inspection? I'll never be back read more

The fries were good -- some pieces were nice and crispy, and they paired well with ketchup. You could definitely taste the difference from frozen fries; they seemed to be made from fresh potatoes, unlike the ones at McDonald's. Unfortunately, the sandwich was a letdown. I ordered the steak and cheese sub with additional toppings. By the time I got home, the juices had soaked through the bag, leaving the sandwich soggy. It also felt like they skimped on the steak. While the flavor was decent, I expected more meat and a heartier sandwich for the price of a large sub. read more

The avocado turkey is very delicious and tasty. I had it on multi grain bread which adds more flavor. It was not hot because I like my sandwich's cold. The lettuce was fresh and so was the turkey . The fries could come and go overall very tasty. Remember as you walk in you are greeted by the staff as soon as you walk in. Always brings good vibes and humble ness. The place is very clean and spacious. It was very filling so I like my meal very much. That is all. Chief Drinking I think can achieve foolishness but then again it may achieve clarity. read more

None of the fountain drinks were working . Even water from fountain was pink in color . We complained still nothing could be done . They have hacked up the prices like anything. Asked if they had combo and since they wanted to make money told us no . Never going back again !! read more

Not easy to get to the location at current. It's all under construction by Novi Road and 10 Mike road. Keep that in mind if you pick up food at this location. Grabbed sandwiches for our staff and team. Ordered a chicken cordon bleu and two chicken parmesan and an order of fries. Order total was $41.82. Sandwiches were ready 15 minutes after putting in the order. Sandwiches were decent for our team. read more

The service here was quick and efficient. Still seems odd that you walk to the back of the place to pay after ordering, but no matter it works. The sandwiches were done perfectly. There is a really good selection too - hot and cold sandwiches. The fries are especially good, and a large portion too. Always pleased with this spot. Much better than that other sub place. read more

Called in order the employee on the phone kept talking over me that should have been my sign right there. My order was incorrect and I am not happy about that. I was missing a medium fry. The large chicken teriyaki on white was super duper salty. It tasted like I poured salt down my throat. My one order of medium fry that I did receive had a giant hair in it!!! I am so upset I was thinking about those fries for months! I had just got back to the country and couldn't wait to chow down. read more

My favorite sub place. I can't pick a favorite, all of them are great. I switch it up, BLT, Pizza, Italian, Reuben among others. Delicious! My wife usually gets the Philly steak and cheese. Service is excellent, staff is friendly. I always get some fresh cut fries with the skin on. Best fries anywhere, as is the freshly squeezed lemonade. A bit pricey, but nowadays, what isn't? Worth it. read more

I found this looking where to lunch. Penn Station is a fast food place, but I really meant fast. You order and few time after you have your order. The place could be takeover, they also have tables to eat there. Looks clean. Those are sandwiches of 6" to 12" with different preparations you choose . Fries are really good as well their price. I usually expend 14 dollars. It's always an option to me read more

You probably know Penn Station, and you know how you would rank the overall food experience. I rank this location a 5 due to a veteran staff who always deliver (must treat employees well). I usually carry out, today I dined in and my Chicken Philly was amazing. Looked like an advertisement, and tasked even better. Perfect fresh cut fries, real lemonade... Wow. Did I get a chocolate chunk cookie too? You know I did! read more

The grilled artichoke sub is one of the best vegetarian subs I've ever tried. Love this place.

Usually my go-to but the customer service has depleted so bad that i'll never go to this location again. Hire and train your employees better. I've had missing items and salty steak subs from here before but the poor service/lack of care is truly what disappoints. I called ahead for pickup and was told it would only be 10 mins. 30 mins later, my subs were sitting behind their counter getting cold while they were amused by a plastic pizza sauce packet they'd cooked in the oven. After asking them three times about my food, they had never even checked to see that my subs were ready the whole time and waiting to be handed to me. They also gave the guy behind me an order with 3 sandwiches that he didn't order. Just a mess all around read more

Hubby brought me carryout from here a few days ago. I've been trying to eat healthy, so he brought me a roasted veggie sub. It sounded so blah that I was really not looking forward to it. But it was yummy! The veggies were slow roasted, so the onions were carmelized and sweet, forming a nice base for the red and green peppers. And the veggies were nicely flavored with rosemary, a little salt and olive oil. Finally, the bread was fresh and tasty. It was a good sub! read more

This is definitely one of those places that I wish I could give half stars to, it's almost to a 4 in my book, but not quite. I really enjoy their hot toasted subs (I haven't had one that I've disliked) and when I'm occasionally splurging -their French fries. (Allergen alert: they're made with peanut oil) Personally I'm not a big fan of their homemade lemonade (I know, I'm in the minority here) because it's too bitter & tart for my liking. I'm also don't like to make a habit out of adding sugar to my food, so it's not enjoyable to add enormous amounts of sugar to balance out the bitterness. The main reason I wouldn't give this location extra stars is due to it's inconsistency of customer service. There have been many times when I've been greeted right away and my order has been quickly made and I've been pleased with the overall experience. However, I've had equally as many times where I've waited too long to place an order without being greeted, waited to check out for too long, or just unpleased with the overall customer service& snippy remarks. I'd recommend calling ahead of time to place an order during the lunch hour, however that can also be really inconsistent in how well it's handled. Seating can also be a challenge during lunch, there are many local business that frequent and it gets filled up quickly. read more

I really just wanted a chicken salad sub, but unfortunately they tried to make mine a chicken salad soup/sub combo rolled up into one wax paper not exactly how I would want my Penn station company represented. I'm not sure why they're not capable of doing their main job description of making a sub sandwich. That would never fly in my line of work. I repair cars for a living. read more

Penn Station - 4x the amount of sauce necessary. - Sandwiches Near Me - Novi, Michigan

Penn Station is a solid option for a good cheesesteak, especially for a sandwich chain. I've been to multiple locations, and the food is consistently good - this one is no exception. I judge a cheesesteak by 4 main components: bread, steak, onion, cheese. The sub rolls are on the high end for a chain, and always nicely toasted (something I think is important for helping absorb the meat juices). Steak is good quality, well chopped, perfectly seasoned, has good grill flavor, and is juicy. Onions are well grilled, and cooked with the steak, adding moisture and flavor - I also appreciate that they're sliced, and not diced. Cheese is provolone (though, I think they have other options), and they're not skimpy. All around - Penn Station delivers a solid sandwich. Fries are a must here. There is nothing better than a golden brown, crispy, fresh-cut fry. Penn Station is probably in my top-5 fries all time. I also love their fresh-squeezed lemonade. Not too sweet, good lemony flavor - you can tell it's fresh. read more

I only review the men's room of restaurants. This place is just about the perfect public restroom. A large single person restroom with 1 toilet and 1 urinal. The door has a deadbolt lock, good large industrial roll toilet paper and paper towel dispenser that is not automated. I eat here a lot and the bathroom is always clean. read more

So good so good so good! A real treat and Do not even think about depriving yourself of the fresh cut fries! Love that they use peanut oil instead of vegetable oil!!!! read more

I was shocked on how good and authentic that the steak and cheese was, as well as the great prices.

Best Sub sandwich Ive ever had HANDS DOWN. I really am disappointed I OVERLOOKED this place for so long. Everything I ordered was amazing. From the fresh cut Potatoes fries (fried in peanut oil) freshly squeezed lemonade, and mouth watering subs! They use high quality meats, mustards and sauces, and make it all freshly right in front of you! It does take a little bit of time for your food to come out after you order it. But trust me, ITS WORTH IT! I ordered the Dagwood sub, with succulent Turkey, Ham, Salami and Pepperoni. It was to die for! Hot and full of mouth watering veggies and peppers with HOT melted swiss and provolone. I couldn't stop eating. To make a long story short after much chewing and little deliberation my taste buds have decided best sub EVER. Cant wait to come back. Also the warm cookies they have are so great! They'll even stick it in the oven for you. read more

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE MENU! I ordered a Philidelphia Cheesesteak and didn't completely read the menu and when I got it home, it has pizza sauce on it. Having never had any other place put pizza sauce on my Philidelphia Cheesesteak, I wasn't expecting it and I found it unappealing. The french fries were greasy and soft. I prefer my fries crispy. The girls behind the counter were friendly though, it was my own fault for not reading through all the ingredients on the menu board, I just wasn't expecting pizza sauce to be listed. The fries need work though. read more

5* because out of the entirety of my year long trip here in America this place has provided the best....BEST...subs I have tasted. On my most recent trip (last Friday) I actually noticed while I placed my order, Chicken teriaki, that they actually fry up the chicken from raw. I was so pleased to see this level of freshness in a sub place...I mean when compared to how unfresh subway's food can be sometimes (Squeezed out of a tube avocado...gross!) I always get philly cheesesteak subs everywhere else I go basically because they are uncomparable but the chicken teriaki here is amazing with the added banana pepper, mushrooms and onions. Kinda salty tasting (from the sauce I assume) so make sure to taste before you go all ham on the adding salt to your food here. The fries are amazing and cut in front of you, seriously while you wait watch them prepare stuff and you'll see the fries being cut and cooked in front of you. Also the cookies mmmm moist and gorgeous. AND they also provide vinegar too for your fries, coming from Ireland we put salt and vinegar on our fries almost always, so that was a great bonus. I'd love them to get the new coke machine with all the various flavours lol that would be a great bonus. Other than that I have no faults and penn station definitely deserves 5 stars, go if you are in the area!! read more

Great food, but very filling. Not great for groups, but if you want to chow down on a sub yourself, this is the place!

The subs are great on a lazy saturday afternoon when you have the munchies from an all night party around town. My only complaint is that no matter how many times I have been here they still CANNOT get my sub prepared the way I ordered it and the way it is printed on the receipt. If you ask for pizza sauce or light mustard, you get neither of them. Manager should invest in some decent and competent teenager staff. read more

My husband and I stopped in for our first time for lunch and it was a wonderful experience. We were greeted promptly and the gentlemen taking our order was very polite. We both ordered the Philadelphia cheesesteak subs which were perfectly seasoned. The fries are handmade and great as well. read more
